It can be challenging for advocates in the 9/11 Truth movement to get our message across to family, friends, and strangers alike. Often, the negative responses to the evidence presented by Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth have a subtext that could be fairly titled, “kill the messenger.” Why do so many people respond this way? As discussed by psychology experts, one explanation involves the issue of “nationalist faith.” What this entails, for certain Americans, is the steadfast view that the U.S. government is always “the good guy,” and that anyone not in sync with this view is “anti-American” and not to be trusted. Those who blindly cling to nationalist faith simply cannot entertain the idea that America’s leaders would do anything wrong.

Labor Leaders, Conferences Informed about WTC Evidence

Australian union leader Kevin Bracken’s stand for 9/11 Truth revealed the impact that activists can have by reaching out to unions with the WTC evidence

We at AE911Truth reach out as educators and concerned citizens with the physical, forensic evidence that conclusively proves the controlled demolition of the three World Trade Center skyscrapers 9/11. We want every citizen to know, but we especially want to inform people and organizations who have the position and ability to do something substantial to assist us in our quest for justice.

Labor unions are such a group. Through much of US history, organized labor has been responsible for establishing a long list of many influential changes in our society, from ending child labor to establishing workplace safety regulations, weekends, eight-hour workdays and health care and pension benefits. Unions have been effective in transforming the conditions of the working class.

We have had some very helpful break-throughs with 9/11 outreach to unions, most notably with Kevin Bracken, president of Australia’s Victoria Trades Hall Council and Secretary of the Maritime Union. Mr. Bracken was actually a 9/11 Truth advocate as early as 2006, distributing materials to union members and leadership, and succeeded in passing a resolution by the Victoria Trades Hall Council on March 28^th, 2008:

Can 9/11 truth history be made in a simple building like the Horsham Magistrates’ Court?

On February 25, in the small town of Horsham in the United Kingdom, there will be a rare and potentially groundbreaking opportunity for the 9/11 truth movement. Three hours of detailed 9/11 evidence is to be presented and considered in a court of law where the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) will be challenged over the inaccurate and biased manner in which it has portrayed the events and evidence of 9/11.

Over the last 16 months, BBC has been challenged strongly by individuals in the UK over two documentaries that they showed in September 2011 as part of the tenth anniversary of 9/11, namely ‘9/11: Conspiracy Road Trip’ and ‘The Conspiracy Files: 9/11 Ten Years On’. Formal complaints were lodged with BBC over the inaccuracy and bias of these documentaries, which, according to 9/11 activists, was in breach of the operating requirements of BBC through their ‘Royal Charter and Agreement’ with the British public. This document requires BBC to show information that is both accurate and impartial. These complaints were supported by the US-based educational charity Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth (AE911Truth), which submitted detailed scientific evidence to BBC to buttress the complaints. The evidence focuses in particular on the confirmed free-fall of WTC 7 and NIST's 2008 admission of this fact. In addition, over 300 AE911Truth petition signers supported these complaints by sending letters to BBC, requesting that BBC show this evidence to the public.

Eugène Delacroix, "La Liberté guidant le peuple"

On February 7, an unidentified woman who has been described as having "mental health problems" was arrested for defacing a famous painting in a satellite museum of the Louvre in France. According to news reports, the woman used a black marker to scrawl “AE911” on the painting by artist Eugène Delacroix, titled "La Liberté guidant le peuple" .

We do not know if this act of vandalism was done in reference to our organization. Whether or not this is true, Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth (AE911Truth) condemns and deplores the defacing of this priceless work of art and all public and private property. Our code of conduct requires all of our volunteers to abide by the laws, rules, and regulations of society. 

The founder and CEO of the non-profit organization, Richard Gage, AIA, noted, “I was shocked and horrified to learn of this senseless act of vandalism. I sincerely hope that this unbalanced person is not in anyway associated with our many honored French supporters. Our organization prides itself on the integrity of its activists, who are seeking a real, unimpeachable investigation of the destruction of the three World Trade Center skyscrapers on 9/11.” 

Over 1,700 architects and engineers have signed our petition to Congress, which cites scientific forensic evidence that proves the Twin Towers and WTC Building 7 were brought down by explosive controlled demolition. The evidence is also detailed in our latest documentary, 9/11: Explosive Evidence – Experts Speak Out, which calls for the public to peacefully and lawfully demand justice.

Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth has reached out to a variety of religious groups with the 9/11 evidence over the last few years. Members of several AE911Truth Action Groups continued that outreach effort recently by attending “Justice Rising,” the 2012 Call to Action Conference that is intended for the progressive Catholic community. Five volunteers from Wisconsin, Connecticut and Kentucky came together as exhibitors and workshop leaders to talk about the events at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Our message was an eye-opener to many who stopped by to talk.

AE911Truth Board member Tom Spellman, a community activist with a Bachelor of Science degree in architecture, took part in the effort. “While it is not a comfortable story, we need to get the true story of 9/11 known,” he explained. “Should we keep our silence to protect our past, or should we break the silence to have a future?”
