Ellen Mariani lost her husband, Louis Neil Mariani, when Flight 175 crashed into the South Tower on 9/11, and she hasn’t given up the fight for justice since that tragic day

Embattled widow Ellen Mariani wants to tell the U.S. Supreme Court that the $3.75 million settlement of her late husband’s 9/11 claims was tainted, and she has authorized a legal defense fund to allow her to carry on her decade-long fight, announced Mariani backers August 30 from Massachusetts.

Mariani was the first person to sue airlines and airports for a 9/11 death--in Chicago federal court in early 2002. She was also one of the earliest family members to speak publicly about her doubts about the official 9/11 story. None of the remains of her husband Louis Neil Mariani, booked as a passenger on United Air Lines Flight 175, were ever returned to her. According to the official 9/11 story, Arab hijackers flew her husband’s plane into the South Tower of the World Trade Center after slipping past airport security with box cutters--but Mariani doesn’t buy it.

As of this writing, your efforts have pushed us back up to the #2 Most Watched spot, after dropping for a time to #8.


We have always retained the #1 “Most Shared” spot, suggesting that people who see the explosive evidence are much more motivated to share it with others than are those who watch other PBS online previews and programs. That certainly does not surprise us … and it’s another point we can all make to help encourage the media to give us more and better coverage.

The mission statement of Colorado Public Television – Channel 12 (CPT12) states that it is “committed to presenting alternative perspectives and to examining information and issues not addressed elsewhere in the mainstream media.” It fulfilled that mission in spades on August 18 when it broadcast our new documentary 911: Explosive Evidence – Experts Speak Out to thousands of central Colorado TV viewers, and the premiere continued to make an impact, becoming the “most watched” and “most shared” video on PBS nationwide in September.

During the film’s television broadcast premiere, AE911Truth founder Richard Gage, AIA, met with CPT12 Development Director Shari Bernson and co-host Tom Colbert live in the studio. Gage, who also co-directed and produced the film, commented on the evidence presented in the film and on our rejection of the official 9/11 Commission Report and of the NIST Report.

“The official story about the attacks of September 11 falls apart when you look squarely at the facts and apply basic scientific principles to interpret them,” said Gage. “After more than ten years, a high-level investigation of the evidence is long overdue. Too much is at stake here to sweep the concerns of 1,700 architects and engineers under the rug. Family members of 9/11 victims speak to the viewers of this film and explain why they are still not satisfied with the answers they’ve been given by our government.”

Part 6: Seismic Spikes

The final section of PM’s chapter on the Twin Towers addresses a theory that is not widely believed among members of the 9/11 Truth movement: that large seismic spikes indicative of explosions occurred before the Towers collapsed. As PM explains:

Seismographs pick up readings from large events like earthquakes, but according to seismologists, explosions from a controlled demolition would not register

On www.whatreallyhappened.com, the Web site references a graph showing the readings over a 30-minute span. Measured over such a long time period, the collapses do appear as sudden, momentary spikes. But when shown on a more detailed graph covering a 40-second span, it is clear there was sustained seismic activity for the duration of the collapses. (pg. 62)

PM’s assessment corroborates the findings of the Lamont-Boherty Earth Observatory at Columbia University.[i] However, the point that there was not just one sudden seismic spike at Ground Zero has been noted by other supporters of the 9/11 Truth movement as well.[ii]

Trio of Texas Premieres brings new AE911Truth Documentary to the Public

Following the 32-city world premiere tour of 9/11: Explosive Evidence – Experts Speak Out, AE911Truth took yet another whirlwind trip through Texas from July 14-16, showing the compelling documentary in Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas. Media outlets from across the state and local activists joined Richard Gage, AIA, and other respected architects to screen the film and discuss the push for a new 9/11 investigation. Houston: Local Media and Free Thinkers Unite with AE911Truth

We received quite positive media coverage before our Houston presentation. The night before the event, Mark Bebawi from KPFT radio at 90.1 FM interviewed Gage on his radio program, “The Monitor”, during the station’s pledge drive. KPFT is a Pacifica station – listener-sponsored and commercial-free.
