The lecture at the Commonwealth Club of California was given only one week after the airing of the National Geographic special, entitled: "9/11 Science and Conspiracy." It was into the aura of purple haze propaganda-science that Richard spoke to a full house of a mostly knowledgeable and empathetic audience. As expected, their editors and producers once again tilted their machinery of mass public persuasion away from the truth in order to validate their preconceived outcome. Relating the television program to his live audience, Richard stated: "Well guess, what? We were featured on the 'conspiracy' side of the equation."

In preparation for their "special" production, the National Geographic team interviewed Richard Gage, representing AE911Truth, along with Stephen Jones, David Ray Griffin, and Dylan Avery. Of course, the production was a setup - a cleverly crafted piece, with careful editing maneuvers, supported by ominous music whenever the concept of "truthers" (those who question the authoritative view) was mentioned. As Richard expressed in Part 1/6 of this lecture: "We spent over one hour in our interview with National Geographic, highlighting all of the evidence that you are going to see here tonight."

As is so common in the television-glow of mass media influence, disappointment is always great, whenever the optimistic power of our best hopes are dashed against the iron-curtain propaganda wall. Of course this was only a partial objective of the National Geographic presentation. "Guess how much of (our testimony) was aired in this "fair and balanced" journalistic piece? Zero ... "

If you have not yet seen National Geographic's cleverly designed hit-and-run, "science-by-magic" television production, you will not really know how important are your personal efforts in this battle for truth. As Mr. Gage states in part one: "This is the challenge of truth in this age, where ninety-percent of the media is owned by five corporations."

The propaganda machine working to cover up the obvious falsifications and distortions of the events of 9/11 is a well financed effort. Twenty-first century propaganda-science is very advanced in its ability to persuade casual observers, if only because they have not heard the objective arguments. For this reason, we need all of those who do know the issues of 9/11, well enough to see when the truth is being hidden, to get involved and help push this message into the world view.

When it comes to changing the direction of the world, the power of an informed public can never be overstated. We are in the middle of an information revolution that is of the highest importance to the world. The magnitude of 9/11 is monumental in its power to dissolve every previously conceived dividing line of political party allegiance and cultural persuasion. The seriousness of this subject is unmatched in its potential to bring people of all persuasions together, through a common cause, into a common culture of sanity and hope. If only because of the outrageousness of the lies of 9/11, a world truth is emerging that will ultimately become the power of resistance to the progressive onset of a governmental tyranny so wicked and perverse, of a strength that would become inescapable if left unchecked.

The Commonwealth Club lecture was an important event for AE911Truth, and Richard's lecture covers enough of the latest evidence with sufficient power of delivery to blow away any remaining clouds of purple haze being cultivated by the mass media. The evidence for controlled demolition is real, and the public is catching on. In the face of clear observation and logical science, irrational answers and cleverly done propaganda-editing will no longer suffice.

Very much welcomed in his home town, Mr. Richard Gage, AIA delivered another of his excellent presentations in this prestigious lecture house, where many other historically important speakers have been heard since the founding of the speakers forum in 1903. The message is real and well developed. What is needed is more exposure. For this, every part of our audience must get actively involved.
