To capitalize on the strategic importance of the 10th anniversary of 9/11, the International Center for 9/11 Studies is sponsoring a four-day set of hearings, September 8 – 11, at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. Officially called “The International Hearings on the Events of September 11, 2001”, this historic gathering of panelists, expert witnesses, and numerous key figures in the 9/11 truth movement is being more commonly referred to as the “Toronto Hearings.” Focusing primarily on the scientific forensic and other evidence and eyewitness testimony, with emphasis on the destruction of the three World Trade Center high-rises, the Hearings will identify some of the best evidence regarding the events of 9/11, thus encouraging and enabling national and/or international legal agencies to pursue formal investigations.

Planning for the Hearings is currently underway and being coordinated by a Steering Committee, an Advisory Committee and several Working Groups. The Steering Committee is comprised of James Gourley, Laurie Manwell, Graeme MacQueen, Kevin Ryan and Adnan Zuberi.

As we approach the 10th anniversary of 9/11, Pacifica Radio (KPFA) will be hosting the second radio debate between architect Richard Gage, AIA, and physicist Dave Thomas in New York City. Peter Phillips and Mickey Huff, directors and editors of Project Censored, will moderate.

Pacifica is the oldest public radio network in the U.S. Project Censored, housed at Sonoma State University and now in its 35th year, has been referred to by the Los Angeles Times as “offering devastating evidence of the dumbing-down of mainstream news in America”; as “one of the organizations that we should listen to, to be assured that our newspapers and our broadcasting outlets are practicing thorough and ethical journalism” by Walter Cronkite and as “a terrific resource” by Library Journal.

Editorial: NIST likes to point out how many scientists and engineers worked on its WTC investigation, and how much time was spent. But the number of participants and the time and money spent does not guarantee a thorough investigation.

That NIST’s investigation is not in line with the most basic requirements of the scientific method is demonstrated by a closer look at NIST’s examination of the steel, which was based on the premise that nothing other than airplane impact damage and the subsequent fires brought down the Twin Towers, and where the most relevant question – why did the strong steel frames below the impact area give way – is neglected. NIST cannot justify its failure to adequately examine the steel with its published results; examining the evidence adequately is a step that needs to be done at the beginning of an investigation.

Prior to becoming an architect, Young was a professional fire fighter for four years. He said, “Never in my training were we ever taught that these types of buildings could just collapse in on themselves… not a Type 1 or Type 2 high-rise building…”

Buffalo Hosts AE911Truth Presentation in Prelude to Anniversary Events

On September 6, Richard Gage, AIA, will bring the compelling evidence for controlled demolition to Buffalo, New York, in a prelude to the 10th anniversary activities. This will mark the first time that Gage visits Buffalo to share the explosive evidence detailed in 9/11: Blueprint for Truth.

“I look forward to meeting with the people of Buffalo as commemorative events turn our attention toward the 9/11 anniversary,” Gage remarked. “We hope that this presentation will signal the beginning of an enlightening week in New York.”
