A light in the darkness
In the course of history there are events that not only change the destiny of nations but of millions of individuals – many of whom didn’t experience the events firsthand.
Twenty-three years ago today, we awoke to a typical Tuesday morning, the kind of morning that would long since have been forgotten if not for the shocking events in New York City; Washington D.C.; and Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
9/11 had a devastating impact on the victims of that day and the families that continue to mourn them. But it also altered or ended the lives of so many others in the decades that have followed.
Soldiers fought and died in the fraudulent wars that resulted from 9/11. Civilians died in enormous numbers in countries that suffered unimaginable destruction.
