PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I concluded early on that the official explanation, even before the 9/11 Commission report, did not add up. The first couple of items that I found suspicious were 1) the pulverizing of the concrete and 2) the free fall of the Towers in less than 10 seconds. Since 2001 I have read many books on the subject starting with Painful Questions by Eric Hufschmid, The New Pearl Harbor by David Ray Griffin (I saw him speak in Berkeley a year ago with Peter Phillips) and Towers of Deception by Barrie Zwicker the latter of which included the CD The Great Conspiracy. From the latter book I agreed with the author (and Richard Gage whom I heard on KPFA today) that there needs to be another, more thorough, investigation of the events of 9/11/2001. To add to my list of suspicious items, I saw a public showing of a CD, in 2004, where the focus was on experienced criminal investigators and how they were making the case about the rapid shipment of the steel from the Towers to India and China and that act was destroying evidence at the scene of a crime. I worked at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center from 2001-2005. I was amazed how otherwise very savvy physicists and engineers didn't want to entertain the thought, or evidence, that the official explanation did not add up. They willingly accept the official pancake theory. I have my own theory about their willingness to accept the official explanation. Several years ago I came across a term called cognitive dissonance. The psychological description goes like this: the term describes an uncomfortable mental tension that arises from results from having two (or more) conflicting thoughts at the same time i.e. The Towers falling was a bad, terrible event and My government is here to help me and they couldn't have had anything to do with the destruction of the Towers.

However this theory as valid as it looks leaves a question mark as to how could it be possible to set up a large complicity that has not been neither discovered nor even suspected.

Collapse of WTC-7 is prima facie controlled demolition. I have seen no alternative explanation, including that of NIST, that is even remotely plausible, given the visual evidence. NIST's continuing refusal even to examine the possibility of the obvious casts the gravest doubt upon the integrity of that institution, (or at least its management) and certainly upon the scientific probity of the NIST study participants. As to WTC 1 & 2, my military experience, coupled with some modest hands-on experience with high explosives, has given me a sense of how things behave when energetically disassembled. I find that the use of high-energy thermitic materials as suggested by Harrit, Jones et al., possibly accompanied by use of more conventional substances such as RDX, C-4, etc. provides a far more persuasive explanation of the observations, including molten iron/steel, powdered concrete etc. etc., than any plausible gravitational-collapse scenario. (Total-energy requirements alone eliminate gravity as more than a secondary input to the buildings' destruction).

I have a high school education and I'm a hairdresser. I'm a social and political activist and have been for many years. My experience is that I'm a very informed citizen, and I know my government's history of false flag operations, and I've been saying since this happened that if nothing else, Building 7 was not hit by a plane and should never have collapsed. You don't need to be an engineer to see this.
I don't know exactly who was involved but a real investigation needs to take place. We may never know who participated, but an investigation still needs to be conducted. We owe it to not only the people in the towers that were killed, but the families and all the innocent Afghans and Iraqis that have been murdered in our drummed up retaliation to this crime.

From the moment I saw the video of the two towers' collapse which was about a half hour after the actual event I was surprised and shocked that it actually occurred. My gut reaction was that they shouldn't have collapsed at all.Then when WTC7 imploded I knew something was terribly wrong with the official narrative that was already beginning to be developed and shown on the TV.I am deeply saddened and appalled that the absurd myth of the 19 hijackers has been given such unquestioned credibility by the mainstream press and even progressive leaning alternative media. It was the defining moment of the century so far for the U. S. and the rest of the globe and it is the mother of all lies! Hitler would have been very impressed.

I wish it didn't come down to what the official word is versus my common sense as a human being, but not unlike you folks, I cannot look at the evidence and even begin to believe the story we were given. The investigation performed by the government elected team was a mockery to the people who lost their lives that day and an insult to the intelligence of the American people.
