PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

"On 9/11/01 I was living at my Park Avenue condo apartment in midtown Manhattan. As an independent early responder, I was at ground zero from day 2 through day 7, for a total of 66 hours on site. Unlike most others affiliated with agencies, I freely covered all parts of the scene. I circumnavigated the entire site 4 times, searched, photographed, warned many of the asbestos 'snowfall', informed non-professionals of the tower's structural system, met with some agency chiefs, and interfaced with 10 of the F.E.M.A teams that arrived. Soon after sunrise on 13 Sept 01, I viewed the remains of building 7 from the top of the exterior stairs on the north side of the plaza. Though at the time I could rationalize how the twin towers came down from pancaking, I was baffled how bldg 7 could fold in on itself so perfectly without damaging adjacent structures and leaving asymmetrical ruins. When I gave a live 13-minute phone interview with Fox News in NYC the day Bush visited the site, and methodically described the structural status of all the buildings affected, I may have been one of the very first people to publicly state that building 7 ended up looking as if a ""controlled demolition"" took place."

There are too many unanswered questions about the physics related to how only the impacts of large airplanes caused WTC Buildings 1 and 2 to collapse (explode and melt). For example the melted steel beams would indicate use of thermite; and the many months of steel remaining molten in the ruins would indicate possible use of small (low radiation) nuclear weapons. How could only the jet fuel and kinetic energy of the collapse cause such intense heat (for months)? How could they cause the buildings to explode so far upward and outward? How could they cause so much of the buildings' concrete and steel to be pulverized (almost vaporized) into fine dust (2.5 microns)? Was the energy required to do all of this much more than that from the jet fuel and the kinetic energy from structural collapse? Basic physics principles (conservation of energy) do not appear to support the official story. What other sources of energy were involved? Also, there are many unanswered questions about how WTC Building 7 was destroyed; the official story was that small fires caused an internal column to buckle. However, all videos show it was an (obvious) implosion that was very level (i.e., level pancaking typical of engineered demolitions). So, did a demolitions team engineer and place the many explosives needed to cause its orderly implosion? If so, how did the team find the time and resources to do all of their work during the chaos on September 11? Or, was their work done before September 11, as a precautionary measure (for safe, controlled demolition) in case of attack? Hopefully a few brave, patriotic people will eventually address the many unanswered questions. If not, life will still go on, and the many good people of America will continue to improve our beloved nation.You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.

To think that the public at large and elected government can ignore the very people they trust with the construction of their homes, supermarkets, offices, schools, hospitals, bars, gymnasiums etc, and label them conspiracy theorist is nothing short of baffling and deeply disturbing.

Apparently tank on roof to supply sprinkler system had been drained. Explosion photographed, many floors below where planes hit, brought towers down. Molten steel found under all three buildings. It is utterly impossible to melt steel with a petroleum or wood fire. It is obvious that the buildings were brought down by materials put in place before the planes hit.

My education includes a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado (1953), M.S. in Irrigation Engineering from Colorado State University (1955), and Ph.D. in Agricultural and Irrigation Engineering from Utah State University (1967). I am still professionally active and my career has been split between academia (teaching, research, and extension) and private consulting and focused on irrigation engineering activities related to water resource development and management.
Without any serious study I had simply accepted that the events of 9/11 were as commonly perceived, although I was not happy with the way the disaster was being used to promote what I felt were illegal and self defeating imperialistic policies in the guise of the War on Terrorism. It was not until early 2006 that I stumbled upon sufficient information to become suspicious of the official and generally accepted 9/11 storyline. This led me to do my own investigation during which I discovered the demise of WTC 7, which I was heretofore unaware of. Obviously it was the result of controlled demolition and scheduled to take place during the confusion surrounding the day's events. I now feel morally obligated to deal with and expose the politically unthinkable issues surrounding the 9/11 phenomena by participating in such undertakings as signing this petition.

I was formally trained by the government in aerospace technology: airframe structures, hydraulic and pneumatic power systems and the materials and methods for repairing and replenishing these systems. I was also trained and refreshed annually in aircraft firefighting. I was involved in aircraft accident recovery efforts and reconstruction. I worked as an aircraft corrosion specialist dealing with composition and subsequent treatment of metal alloys and their deterioration properties. This included metals subjected to many different stresses such as heat, vibration, acids, salts, biological attacks, and deterioration due to improper alloying.
Based on my past experience with aircraft fuel fires and their documented effect on metal structures, I simply cannot accept the official version of what happened to the three buildings that fell on 9/11. Given the temperature at which jet fuel burns, and the quantity involved in this particular incident, I believe it is patently impossible for it to heat a steel structure of the kind found in WTC buildings 1, 2, and 7 to the point of catastrophic, free-fall collapse such as was exhibited by all three of these buildings on that day. I have personally witnessed mild-steel structures subjected to repeated applications of burning jet fuel over the course of days and weeks with no significant damage resulting to these much weaker structures. There is simply no logical reason to accept the NIST evaluation of the fuel fires on 9/11.

Although I have studied electronics, and not construction I have still had many of the basic physics-courses offered by DTU. Although university level physics is not necessary to understand the very basic physical laws involved in the collapse of buildings. And in my opinion there is no doubt, whatsoever, that the official story - especially around building 7 - is invalid. When one starts to look at the evidence presented by my colleagues around the world, it becomes absolutely clear that a fresh, INDEPENDENT, investigation is necessary. Even if one subtracts the usual conspiracy-theories around such event, and even if only 10% of the evidence is valid, it is still more than enough to initiate another inquiry.

I graduated high school in 1959. Attended Milwaukee Area Technology College for 1 1/2 years unfortunately I didn't get a degree, although I do have honors from the college of hard knocks. I was opened to learning the hard way and at 73 years young I have a wealth of experiences that have taught me to seek knowledge, because knowledge is power. Power to trust in myself and question what people say. I am all for education, although in my opinion education some- times prevents a person from seeking knowledge above and beyond their degree. Being an expert in a certain field can somewhat limit a person's willingness to be open minded. A doctor refuses to learn about nutrition because medicine cures everything.
I saw the whole 9/11 event on TV, although I wondered how a steel building could begun dust in such a short time. I did have my doubts because it did appear to me to be a controlled demolition like the documentaries on the Discovery Channel, that showed how the experts exploded buildings in Las Vegas.I'm 73 years young and consider myself very cynical of the news in all the medias. We don't get the truth, we only get what these agencies want to feeds us. I question everything until what I hear has a ring of truth. Too much of what WAS REPORTED ON 9/11 just didn't meet the logical test in my thinking. I did watch the AE9/11 video and was convinced by the information the engineers reported as an impossibility. A steel building even if hits by two airplanes cannot fall into its own footprint in a matter of seconds. The building exploded, how, who knows, the fact remains two airplanes could not have cause the event of 9/11.

The World Trade Center destruction has many unanswered questions, which deserve a thorough investigation by unbiased, impartial engineering, construction, demolition, forensic, and other pertinent professionals. All eyewitness statements need to be included in the investigation, and all the proof thoroughly examined. It's been obvious to me this building was destroyed by explosives. Plenty of witnesses and plenty of videos on the tube. Same goes for the other buildings. No good explanation was ever given for why vertical columns gave no resistance to their disappearance. Their vertical integrity can't just fall apart due to weight. This should be obvious. This goes for all 3 buildings. The towers were built with 236 close knit (only 26 inches apart for windows) continuous columns so were like like cans and the inner core of 47 columns made the towers like a can within a can. Can the upper weight of a can crush into pieces the lower portion of a can? Would pancaking of horizontal floors even be possible? No. Not without a force to separate the vertical integrity of the solid continuous vertical strength and support. Just a month or two after the event and re-watching the collapses it just seemed fishy to me and so early on with a little investigation I saw that I was not the only one that questioned the 'collapse'. Plenty of evidence that MOSSAD was involved. I really wish our elected officials would take a close look at the evidence.

I have been involved with construction enough to know a building that has steel reinforcement capable of withstanding a tornado doesn't just fall straight down to the ground without a planned and engineered demolition.
The conclusion is obvious to me. It was a controlled demolition on all three buildings. Building #6 was hit as well, but only on the center portion of the building.
