PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I am recently retired from a 30-yr career as a structural engineer in the military defense aerospace industry, holding DoD Secret Clearance throughout. My academic training was in civil structural engineering, and while I spent most of my career in space launch applications focusing on rocket structures, I managed the Ground Systems Structures Section at The Aerospace Corporation and have considerable practical experience with ground structures and facilities. I also have vast experience in failure investigations of launch systems and am well versed in the inter-disciplinary analyses -- thermodynamics, ballistics, structural dynamic and structures -- required to develop and explore credible hypotheses.
I was initially a skeptic regarding the possibility that the WTC was brought down by explosives. I erroneously thought that the conspiracy theories were based upon the notion that steel had to melt to precipitate a failure (it does not), and that rocket fuel doesn't burn at sufficient temperature to liquify steel (which is true). After reviewing the overwhelming evidence presented by the 911 Truth Organization, it is apparent to me that the steel did in fact melt, and that is incontrovertible evidence of the use of explosives. Together with the visual evidence, particularly that of WTC 7's signature implosion, there can be no doubt in the mind of anyone trained in structural engineering that these buildings were brought down by carefully placed explosive charges. NONE WHATSOEVER. As unthinkable as it is to me, it is hard to believe that anyone except agents of the U.S. federal government could have had the access and resources necessary to commit this atrocity.

I am a High school graduate. I am just a concerned American citizen that has common sense. Common sense tells me something is wrong with the official story. Their story doesn't add up to what I can plainly see with my own eyes. I am not a sheep and don't believe everything the government says as gospel. How could our defenses fail us so badly that day and cost thousands of American lives that day and the following days after 9/11? Official story is bogus, no way those solid steel structures fell apart in mid air. It was supposed to be so hot where the planes hit yet their is pictures of people standing in the hole where this was melting steel. Thermite can clearly be seen pouring out of side of building. WTC 7 fell at speed of gravity, with no resistance. If the plane disintegrated when it hit along with the people, how could the aluminum have melted and mixed with water to cause explosions as a new model has explained. Its all crap, the people there who experienced it like 'The last man out' the custodian who was hit by explosions in the basement. Explain how that happened with this new 'model'. now they try to discredit him and he was once a hero. it makes me so angry the rest of the US accepts this crap.

I'm a normal Joe nothing impressive about my education. I was thirteen when the towers fell. By time I was eighteen and not in school I went to work in tree removal. Trimming and removing trees for five years. So I understand structural resistance and a directional onset of movement especially due to damage at the base. And now I install tile and have been in construction for the last five year's.
I was in the library of my junior high school watching when the second plane hit. I believed the 'official story' as well as the majority of the public did. It was so shocking. But when I heard about the destruction of WTC 7 on the day of 9/11 some five our six years down the road I began to investigate. I do honestly believe a new investigation would be proper with all the evidence that does not coincide with the official report of that day.

I have see lumber yard fires. Where stacks of lumber burnt uncontrolled for hours in steel constructed building. After days when the fire was finally put out. The fire was not hot enough after burning for days to melt the steel beams. The beams bent from the heat. In my mind there is no way that a planes fuel burning for a few minutes could weaken steel beams to failure.

I remember the moment it became apparent to me that pyrotechnics were implemented in the destruction of those towers. About two weeks after the dirty deed, and with the frantic removal of the physical evidence well underway, I walked past the TV as a giant I-beam section was hoisted from the rubble. The lower end of the beam was dripping molten steel as it emerged from deep in the pile of debris.It immediately became obvious to me that thermite and/or thermate had been key elements of the collapse. It had already been occurring to me that jet fuel could not possibly have provided enough heat to weaken those massive beams enough to bring about the collapse of the steel-frame structures. Too many questions, like how did the towers fall so quickly, and how did they fall exactly in their own footprint, and how did lightweight vehicles like passenger jets ever penetrate the structures in the first place?The total collapse of building 7 was off the chart, with absolutely no connection to the main event, due to proximity. When I heard the fireman announce that they were evacuating all personnel (from building 7) because they were going to 'PULL' the building, I couldn't believe they were actually going to deliberately drop the structure. Then I watched it fall in it's own footprint, and said why'd they do THAT??? I was absolutely certain that the story we were being fed was nothing but a load of fresh manure! When the official investigation broke, I was repeatedly yelling the slang term for that manure!!!This thought has never stopped occurring to me...how could the general population be so void of knowledge of elementary physics that they could buy the official story? Yet, almost everybody I talked to has exhibited complete faith that their government would not lie about such a thing. Some even expressed anger with me for even entertaining such a notion that the official story was a big fat LIE! They have said 'why would the government do such a thing?' Since then, the answer to THAT question has become glaringly apparent...but not to THOSE people!

I'm A residential builder, 50 years experience and a student of the world, I have seen many things in my life and this whole think stinks to high heaven.We owe the first ones that have given their lives to investigate what happened, common sense will not let this rest.
We've been lied to and I'm mad as hell! This is a national disgrace and if gone un-investigated a real investigation not a joke. The people who have lied to us should be in prison. We have to find out what brought these building down.

I am simply a concerned Australian citizen. On the day itself I knew there was something seriously wrong with the whole scenario. The USA has a very strong influence worldwide and following the fiasco surrounding the Bush/Gore 'election' I became angered that a numbskull like Bush could be in charge of anything larger than a hotdog stand. Sorry guys, no false idolism here.
Immediately first impression at first sight (tv) it looked like a controlled demolition.
