On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I am retired and now have the time to review the data presented in support of an alternate conclusion. It is without a doubt that the data presented in support of a controlled demolition warrants a complete and transparent hearing. WTC 7 lacks any reasonable explanation or evidence to support a collapse at the rate of a free falling object. It is essential that the scientific community be allowed to analyze the data from the three buildings and prove conclusively that explosives were used.

I'm a former Navy Civil Engineer Corps Officer and career Engineer for the Federal Government. My career focus has been on construction and facilities management. I have worked for several different agencies including the Navy, DOD, Smithsonian and National Gallery of Art and I have worked with many senior engineers from various other agencies in DC including the Architect of the Capital, General Services Administration, and the Department of Homeland Security.
The public has the right to see a complete and transparent investigation as to what happened. The controlled demolition of Building 7 and questionable collapse of the twin towers needs to be properly reviewed and documented. The NIST report appears both incomplete and inaccurate.

I graduated in December, 1987 with the highest GPA in the Electrical Engineering class at WMU after testing out of one curriculum class by waiver exam and another two by private examination by the professor (based on things I taught myself before enrolling) in return for lectures I gave to his classes on specific topics. I was always a natural at science and physics in high school, winning blue ribbons in the science fairs every year.

I have worked in many areas of architecture, from small scale construction to high rise buildings. There is some doubt that the Trade Center towers could have collapsed without demolition explosives being utilized. What caused the third tower to fall? It might be more reliable to have a non-governmental citizens' investigation convention comprised of experts and participants who are not under the influence of past or current administrations, congress, the pentagon or other agencies, or political lobbies. It might be possible for pro bono legal specialists to initiate and monitor a broader freedom of information act so that additional evidence and facts can be ascertained. Others, including volunteers or paid investigators, journalists, and the media (PBS, C-Span) can play a role. Americans deserve answers to their questions, from reliable sources best able to gather and present the findings.

One day in 2005 I was just surfing the internet and came across the AE911truth web site. Then I went back to it the next day. And the day after. Then I discovered Steven Jones' paper, Why Indeed did the WTC Buildings Collapse. And it all became clear. I think of all the 9/11 questions, the explosive demolition of all three WTC buildings should be the easiest for anyone to understand.

There is an obvious doubt to the way in which (and the speed in which) the two towers collapsed. To a lay person it may be a second thought and an issue for an expert. Well, here are the experts, the professionals, who look at what happened and say, The official investigation just does not add up. If you have over 1,000 professionals, people deemed by their respective states to be competent enough to design structures - to be THE licensed authority on such matters, deem the official investigation to be incomplete or incorrect - shouldn't we listen?

I majored Fine Art at UC Santa Cruz before beginning my eight year long apprenticeship in 1977 at various Orange County architectural firms. I passed the California exams and have been licensed since 1988. I have designed many steel frame multi-story office buildings in southern California and many steel framed and concrete buildings of various types across the United States and in the Middle East. I have been a principal in a large AEC consortium as well as practice on my own as a planner, designer, illustrator and consultant.
I spent the first year following the disaster in the bubble, shocked I suppose. Shortly thereafter I began to dig and found alternative arguments on the web and came to believe that something other than the official story was more likely. Now the evidence is overwhelming and a new investigation must be undertaken as soon as possible. The questions surrounding the event are too important to sweep under the rug.

My studies as an undergraduate were highly geared towards a career in structural engineering. Eventually, chose to pursue a M.Architecture, but was fortunate enough to be able to take many graduate courses on structural design in the Columbia University School of Engineering, as the core requirements for the M.Arch I were covered.
It's a hard pill to swallow. Honest, truth seeking people cannot avoid thinking of the horrendous consequences that necessarily accompany facing the facts of a controlled demolition. For years, like many, I ignored the evidence, not because it wasn't obvious. It is obvious only once you focus on the facts. It was because I, like so many millions, took the official story for granted, without question. The evidence is overwhelming for anybody who cares to face the horrible truth.

I always felt doubt about the official story and was uncomfortable taking a strong position on the issue in public. - - - - I always knew that 9/11 was premeditated and likely foreknown by neoconservative elements of our government and other rouge entities. Likely even Israel. - - - - After listening to Mr. Gage's presentation and looking further into the evidence however I am convinced there is no way any of these buildings could have fallen short of a controlled demolition. The evidence is overwhelming. I no longer have any doubt. I am also proud to be part of an industry which has come out on the side of truth despite the consequences. Questions and concerns immediately following destruction of Twin Towers, particularly after hearing details and seeing images later that same evening. My education led me to believe that most and certainly these particular buildings would withstand airplane impacts and fires. WTC 7 collapse and my familiarity with Meridian Tower in Philadelphia and several witnessed controlled demolitions while in Philadelphia convince me of controlled demolitions of the three WTC buildings on September 11th. As a construction document specialist, I have broad experience in almost all building types including high rise office buildings of both structural steel and reinforced concrete super structure.
Though I have seen several presentations on the internet about the 911 events, I do not consider myself sufficiently knowledgeable enough to render a professional opinion as to the sequence of events that may have caused the collapse of WTC 1, 2, & 7. However, the following events seem to raise significant enough question to merit a full re-investigation of the calamities of New York as well as the Pentagon: - - - - The flashing of light in the intermediate floors of WTC 1 & 2. - - The molten steel int the basements - - The absence of any steel framing of the upper floors. - - Several hour delay in the collapse of WTC 7 - - The similarity of the WTC 7 to a planned implosion - - In the Pentagon, the hole in the side of the building was of a size that could only mean the wings were severed off and no evidence of wings were ever found. - - - - These observations are based on internet pictures and stories I saw several months ago, and I am sure that If I were to review the pictures and written stories, I could find a lot more to comment on. Since that historic morning when 911 occurred and my firm shut down to watch the events unfolding on TV, I have often wondered about how two commercial aircraft could have destroyed three high rise buildings. Over the years since that sad day I have read several articles about the structural implications of the 911 disaster and talked to other architects and engineers. It is obvious that many knowledgeable professionals question the previous conclusions about what has happened. It is time to find, document, and react to the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

In the employ of others in the UK I worked on major projects such as a new headquarters for the glass-makers Pilkington; in Australia I worked on the Qantas Sydney Domestic Terminal. There is no doubt in my mind that the collapses of all three buildings were caused by professionals using explosives. I remember my surprise at the time that the buildings collapsed after the plane impacts. I could not understand why they would do so Your demonstration of the creation of the myth was clear. The choice of words structural collapse by the man in the black t-shirt and baseball cap was clearly scripted.

The existing quantifiable evidence and obvious betrayal of high-school level physics notwithstanding; the mere fact that so many professionals in their respective fields are of the opinion that the three WTC towers could not possibly have collapsed in the fashion portrayed by NIST, should easily be motivation enough to prompt any government to demand a more thorough and satisfactory investigation from its own, trusted professionals. To think that the public at large and elected government can ignore the very people they trust with the construction of their homes, supermarkets, offices, schools, hospitals, bars, gymnasiums etc, and label them conspiracy theorist is nothing short of baffling and deeply disturbing.

I'm an AIA member and licensed architect in Friday Harbor WA. I've worked in architecture for more then 25 years. I have a BA in Interior Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design, 1980 and a MA in Historic Preservation from Columbia University NYC, 1983.
The events on 9/11 seemed very suspicious at the time. On further review, Building 7 is the smoking gun of 9/11. The building was obviously brought down by explosives. It takes planning and skill to bring a building down. There is no way the explosives were planted the day of the collapse. The fact that Buildings 1 & 2 leases were sold to Larry Silverstein, a developer, by the NYC Port Authority months before is also suspect. There is widespread knowledge in the real estate community that the twin towers were white elephants and both buildings needed significant asbestos mediation to the tune of 200 million. Silverstein made a 4.5 billion dollars profit from insurance claims.

I have studied Dr. Steven Jones work and have come to the conclusion that the estimated Dr. Jones research is of such academic quality that it cannot be ignored, and that it therefore should be addressed in scientific terms. It has clearly NOT been addressed scientifically so far. Why did WTC Tower No. 7 come down is maybe the biggest of the (engineering related) mysteries of that dreadful September 11, 2001. This alone should make it obvious that this tragedy needs to be further investigated, and that the public be presented proper proof for the events, something which I believe is not the case so far.

After viewing the documentary, it is clearly evident that these three buildings did not collapse. Unfortunately, they were deliberately destroyed with almost 3,000 of our neighbors STILL INSIDE THEM. We must learn the truth about who caused this to happen and, if at all possible, why.

I watched on TV live the TT falling and thought to myself during the collapse that - this building doesn't fall this way. I had enough experience even at that time with steel moment frames to realize that they don't pancake from the top down, especially if the assumed failure (the planes heat) point in a 1/3 of the way down. The only way for a building to fall like the TT is if it was a masonry type structure and the upper columns failed first from a heavy roof load. Well, it's not. - - In my opinion IF the heat was sufficient enough to melt the steel at the planes location, the frame would have buckled and the top part of the building would have toppled over. Of course causing damage to the lower part of the structure but not a pancake collapse. Plus - both towers collapsing in the exact same symmetrical pattern - no way.! Also, what about building #7 collapsing the same way when nothing touched it!. Or where is the plane debris a the Pentagon.? - - These building were brought down by design. - - In looking at the impact over time I think the intent was to implement the HomeLand Department, the patriot act and instill a new culture of fear and control.

Upon graduation, I immediately began working as a construction manager in NYC. Over the last 6 years, I have overseen the construction of multiple commercial and residential projects in both the NYC and Philadelphia metro areas. My experience includes work with steel, precast concrete, masonry, timber, and conventional wood framed structures.
I do not accept the official theory that WTC 7 collapsed symmetrically into its own footprint at nearly free fall speed due to structural damage and fires alone. An object falling to earth at free fall speed, by definition, does not encounter resistance along the way. The rigid structure of interconnected columns, beams, and girders provide substantial resistance to physical forces. Indeed, that is their function. This is one of many reasons why I feel a new, independent investigation is necessary. The ramifications from the events of that day are enormous for the people of the world. It is our duty to strive for the truth.
