PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

In the intervening years I worked at a variety of jobs, the most applicable being the 12 years when I did instrumentation & controls and then mechanical design engineering for a variety of industries. I have a typical plodding but thorough and mechanistic and engineering approach to any subject I approach.
I felt indignation when I first heard that people were questioning the official version of 9-11 events. It took several years for it to filter through to me that building 7 fell at free fall speeds 7+ hours after the towers. I've perused the NIST report dated 2008. I do understand the elaborate chain of events described therein and they sound very unlikely. I've heard some expert testimony questioning many of the premises and details NIST used to construct their report. I'm convinced the NIST report is unsatisfactory and that we owe it to the victims, their families and to ourselves to continue investigating. The bad guys are still out there. Their monumental arrogance and sociopathic mentality will continue to surface if we don't.

Collapse of WTC-7 is prima facie controlled demolition. I have seen no alternative explanation, including that of NIST, that is even remotely plausible, given the visual evidence. NIST's continuing refusal even to examine the possibility of the obvious casts the gravest doubt upon the integrity of that institution, (or at least its management) and certainly upon the scientific probity of the NIST study participants. As to WTC 1 & 2, my military experience, coupled with some modest hands-on experience with high explosives, has given me a sense of how things behave when energetically disassembled. I find that the use of high-energy thermitic materials as suggested by Harrit, Jones et al., possibly accompanied by use of more conventional substances such as RDX, C-4, etc. provides a far more persuasive explanation of the observations, including molten iron/steel, powdered concrete etc. etc., than any plausible gravitational-collapse scenario. (Total-energy requirements alone eliminate gravity as more than a secondary input to the buildings' destruction).

It seems to me that having three unprecedented collapses of ruggedly built steel buildings in one day is grounds for a complete and open investigation. Steel building have NEVER collapsed this way in the past nor in the time since 911 the world over. The extreme rate of fall of WT 1,2, and 7 seems to indicate that the support columns of all there buildings were compromised by a force other than fire. Video of the day shows unexplained rapid ejections of materials well below the main part of the failing structures. The videos quite possibly show evidence of controlled demolition. Sadly the video is all we have to work with at this point since all of the physical evidence was illegally hauled away and melted down.

I am retired from Saudi Aramco where I was a Loss Prevention Engineer for 12 years. I conducted several major industrial investigations at Saudi Aramco. Previously I was an investigator with a forensics engineering firm in Kingwood, TX (1993-1997), a research engineer with Amoco in Naperville, IL (1985-1992), and a design engineer with UOP in Des Plaines, IL (1972-1981). I was always more skeptical about the collapse of WTC7, i.e., as compared with WTC1&2 which pancaked down. WTC7 seemed essentially whole in its upper floors, as it fell, indicating failure of support columns lower in the building. However, after reviewing ae911truth films, I'm now no longer so sure about WTC1&2, i.e., thermite/thermate evidence. I certainly would support an unbiased thorough investigation. I would volunteer to be on it, but I have a strong bias after my years in the Middle East, i.e., very much anti-Israel, which could hurt the investigation.

The NIST report overlooked so many details that they are either unbelievably incompetent or were involved in the cover up and I don't think they were incompetent. I think the country and the world need to know the truth no matter how difficult it would be to initially accept. Like many, I thought the truth movement consisted of whack jobs and nutcases. No way the 19 did this w/o help. In every photo and every video, you can see columns far outpacing the collapse of the building. Not only are the columns falling faster than the building but they are also falling faster than the debris cloud which is ALSO falling faster than the building. This proves the buildings fell well below free fall speed. That is, unless the beams had a rocket pointed to the ground.

Having read many articles about the WTC destruction, I noticed that many things did not make sense or did not add up. Why were fighter jets not scrambled, but instead were told to stand down? Why were members of the Bin Laden family allowed to fly out of the country at a time when U.S. airspace was closed to entering and departing flights? Why was physical evidence taken away before it could be thoroughly examined? Why did no one listen to witnesses who clearly heard and felt explosions at steady intervals? How could buildings, which had been built to withstand an airliner impact, simply collapse and in such a manner that resembled buildings being taken down by controlled demolition? There are too many questions which have not been satisfactorily answered. Family and friends of victims deserve the truth.

Not one part of the official story makes sense to me. How do 2 planes bring down 3 steel framed skyscrapers into their own footprints, one of which was never struck by a plane? How does a guy who couldn't fly a single engine plane fly a 767 into the Pentagon completing maneuvers trained professionals couldn't do? Why was there molten steel? Even before viewing the film, even watching live as the Towers fell, even having no demolitions experience, I knew it was controlled. I knew that what was being said about what happened was a fabricated story. I was just a fresh out of high school kid and I knew there was no way a building could fall that way without the element of control, without some kind of professional team overseeing and, most importantly, causing the implosion. I don't agree with the official statement regarding the collapse of the buildings. I think it was an inside job used to cover up the 'lost' BILLIONS the government announced just prior to the 'attack'. I think the government used a private individual to purchase the buildings, over-insure them, take the $3 billion they lost and gave the rest to the man who purchased them as hush money, making him a billionaire, if he wasn't one already. The attack served at least two purposes: to cover up and replace lost funds and to make an excuse to start a war.

My formal education consists of grade 12 at the American Community School in Beirut, Lebanon, plus one year of construction carpentry trade school in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. At age 70, I am now retired from working at local lumber mills and as a self-employed carpenter.
The first point that caused me to begin doubting the official story of 9/11 was hearing that the three WTC buildings that collapsed that day did so at virtual free-fall speed, yet down through the path of greatest resistance. This is impossible, according to the laws of physics, without something (like explosives) removing all vertical supports at the appropriate (split-second) timing so as to not allow any vertical resistance to the collapse. It is also impossible for a smaller, lighter portion of a building to crush the much larger, stronger remainder of the building below it all the way to the ground simply with its own weight. But that's only the beginning. There are so many other things wrong with the official claims made about the other crash sites at the Pentagon and in Shanksville, Pa. too, as with so many other aspects of the events of that day. The accumulation of evidence over the past decade and a half has taken it well beyond possible 'mistakes' and 'oversights' and into the realm of deliberate intent.

I don't believe that 2 planes brought down 3 buildings based on the story we were told, collapsing into their own footprint - I believe there's much more to this that isn't being revealed. People want the truth, people deserve to know the truth...countless lives have been lost, countless people have been displaced because of the events of September 11th. I completed my Honours Degree at Sussex University as a mature student and it helped open my eyes to the world around us. If it hadn't been for a disabling chronic illness I would have continued with my education. I am currently researching the possibilities of undertaking a Masters Degree.
When 9/11 occurred I remember watching reports over and over as I could not believe what had happened, not the 'act of terrorism', nor the loss of life, but what caused me utter confusion was the way the towers fell: the suddenness; the speed; the absolute destruction to dust. My own logic could not comprehend this against the narrative I was hearing - buildings don't get damaged like that and freefall into their own footprint; it defies the laws of physics. Since then I have watched all available evidence, looked at every theory put out, and believe that the official narrative cannot be the truth. Therefore the 9/11 investigation must be reopened and a truly independent and full inquiry of event must take place.
