PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

To me it is obvious both by physical intuition and training that dropping the top 10-15 floors of a circa-100-floor steel-framed building onto the rest intact below can not possibly cause the entire structure to collapse under its own weight, regardless of how much fire is blazing in the building. If nothing more had happened in Manhattan on the morning of 11/9/2001 than airliners each hitting those floors of WTC buildings 1 and 2, it is possible that sustained fire could have allowed the remaining beams supporting the top section of either building to buckle, and for said section(s) to fall to one side into the street below, but nothing more. Within the present spectrum of human knowledge, such a complete collapse, nearly symmetrical, near free-fall speed, can only be achieved using controlled demolition.

I have a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Canada and eleven years of professional experience. Currently I am a senior engineer for a Danish company that makes wind turbine blades. I am part of the Composite Mechanics group that is responsible for determining and documenting the mechanical properties of the materials and substructures that are used in the blades. I am also currently attending a masters level fracture mechanics course at DTU (Danish Technical University) in order to become more specialized within my field. Previously I have worked in Vancouver, Canada with hydrogen fuels and their cooling and exhaust gas dilution systems and in Melbourne, Australia as an engineer designing industrial wheels and castors.
From my understanding of solid mechanics, I don't see how a steel constructed skyscraper can collapse under it's own weight at near free fall speed within it's own footprint. Steel is a ductile material and a space frame construction that is overloaded in compression will bend, buckle and twist, but will remain essentially as one structure. In my opinion, the failure mode observed for the twin towers can only be explained by a series of controlled explosions.

These activities have included design of machined detail parts, structural steel weldments, castings and forgings and the specifying of high strength steel, stainless steel and aluminum alloys, non-metallic materials, casting and forging processes, heat treatments, manufacturing processes and protective finishes. I have also developed test procedures, monitored product testing and written numerous test reports including detailed analysis of product reliability issues and failures. Additionally I have prepared design specifications and managed component development projects from concept to production. Though now semi-retired, I work part time as a licensed residential home inspector in the state of North Carolina.
The available video, audio and eye witness evidence abundantly demonstrates that the three primary WTC skyscrapers which collapsed on September 11, 2001, could not have fallen as a result of either aircraft impact or due to the relatively low temperatures generated by hydrocarbon fuel and/or office furniture fires. The free fall nature of these collapses coupled with the very high heat indicated by molten metal observed falling from the buildings and at ground zero is indicative of mechanisms using very high temperature incendiary devices. These must have been carefully pre-installed and then sequentially detonated in order to sever primary structure within these buildings thus enabling precipitous and uniform collapse. Numerous other evidence supports this theory including eye-witness accounts of explosions occurring immediately prior to and during these collapses, the complete and total pulverization of tons of steel, concrete, office furniture and human bodies which occurred during this event and the completely burned out hulks of automobiles and other vehicles parked near these buildings at ground zero. Such sequential explosions, elevated temperatures and total destruction could not be the result of building collapses initiated by impact and very localized fire and then completed by the force of gravity alone. Further the collapse of these three buildings visually models precisely the speed and uniform collapse of steel-framed high rise buildings intentionally destroyed by controlled demolition.

When I first watched the first tower fall live on TV, before knowing what would occur in the ensuing seconds, I remember saying after the top started to collapse that Well ... it looks like we will have an 80 story tower! I could not fathom the total collapse of they building. As the top of the building began to fall and be unsupported, the 'supporting forces' (or resisting forces)of the lower floors would have made the upper floors continue their tipping until it fell over and off the remaining floors of the building. The total collapse was unfathomable. With the top floors shed, I would have expected the wrecked interface area to extent only a few floors below where the break was. Ultimately I accepted the given wisdom of those who said it was fire and flawed construction that led to the building's failures. However, over the ensuing years after viewing discussions of the collapse by skeptics of the 'official' story, I began being more aware of the arguments. The information presented in the Stephen Jones DVD and the first Richard Gage DVD provide the opportunity to see the reality of the physics of the collapse. Upon further reflection of the laws of physics and engineering principles, I truly believe that even if fire and the trauma to the structure from the collisions were sufficient to instigate the collapse, that it could not propagate very far. The collapse of WTC-7 is wholy unlike any collapse scenario that I can envision ... without it being intentionally destroyed. The building did not wobble, lean, crumble, sag or show signs of failure until it collapsed. Unimaginable! I believe that a new independent investigation is needed.

There are so many overt lies, deceptions, and falsehoods inherent in the 9/11 'official report,' that it defies logical and critical explanation. The most telling explanation of all is that no steel high rise has EVER fallen due to fire in the history of the science of multi-story steel structure design. But the 'smoking gun' in my estimation is the total demolition of Building 7, which was touched by no destructive debris from Towers one or two. The video of the reporter giving news of the imminent collapse of World Trade Seven ON LIVE BBC NEWS, is clearly the most damning visual evidence of this fact of all, along with the hundreds of details supplied by NYC first responders, victims, and your important and sorely needed investigation into this critical area.

I've worked heavy construction from hospitals to high rise structures.
Definitely appears to be a controlled demolition. Aluminum skinned, aluminum wings cannot cut through structural I beam columns. At least the final third of each plane should have never entered the buildings and should have fallen to the ground. The jet fuel in the wings in majority should have run down the face of the building. These aircraft do not have jet engines that would supply enough thrust to get them going 550-600 mph at less than 1000 feet of elevation.

I remember exactly where I was when this happened - and when I watched it.....I readily asked myself - how could two buildings like this ( I mean 3 buildings ) come down on their own footprint without this being a very, very precisely controlled demolition ???.....

I left school at 15 and drifted into a number of different jobs I suppose looking for something that interested me and also paid well. I got a job in a paper mill in the laboratory testing lots of different kinds of paper and card etc. I enjoyed that job because it meant I had to go to college to gain my qualifications which sort of slightly promoted me and gave me extra more technical jobs I could carry out alone. I got sick of the shift system so I left and got a job in the building industry, which I loved. I rose through the ranks and eventually broke out on my own. I was lucky enough to secure quite a few good contracts installing cable for Nynex in Warrington and the North West of England. When that finished I was offered some good positions with larger companies still in the industry. I realised that I needed to get some kind of management qualifications to be able to fit in, so I went back to school and studied for a Construction Managers qualification which I was successful in. I worked on various jobs up and down the UK and was enjoying the job, during my time visiting lots of sites I began to be alarmed at some of the work practices and shortcuts the operatives made, which sometimes ended in injury. When I questioned the men about the apparent disregard of any safety systems I was told they had to use what they had which was really unsuitable and dangerous, When I brought it up in a managers meeting I got a roasting off a Director who said Health and Safety was bullshit and would cost the company a fortune to implement. I was disgusted so off I went back to college to study Health Safety and Environmental Issues. First I got a NEBOSH qualification which was recognised throughout the industry as the main qualification to have, I then carried on to achieve the Holy Grail of the HSE world the NEBOSH Diploma I then switched sides and became an ardent supporter and enforcer of safety systems to make the lads doing sometimes very dangerous jobs confident of going home in one piece and as protected from the job and conditions as possible. The accident rates began to tumble there was less time off work so production went through the roof, and the lads were happier coming to work I began lots of regimes which emphasised the need to make sure their vans and equipment was tested and ticketed so if anything failed it could be traced back and investigated. I then set bout the lads appearance considering they represented the company, they looked like gypsies or worse so I submitted a plan to kit them out in company colours in pants boots jumpers or sweatshirts and the only dissenting voice was our demoted ex director who was told to keep his draconian views to himself. I had to retire prematurely through I'll health I miss the job so much if possible I would go back tomorrow, alas I can't I like to think I made our industry a safer place to work through introducing safety systems to benefit all.
It is as plain as the nose on your face that this was a conspiracy of many. Little is said about how the charges were laid against the columns to bring them down so precisely. It was a masterful job, only a few operators have the skills to carry out such a demolition so why aren't we rounding up those companies and finding out where their operatives where 6 months prior the event. If it was a foreign contractor it still wouldn't be very difficult to track their movements. I haven't heard of any such investigations.
