PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

When I first watched the first tower fall live on TV, before knowing what would occur in the ensuing seconds, I remember saying after the top started to collapse that Well ... it looks like we will have an 80 story tower! I could not fathom the total collapse of they building. As the top of the building began to fall and be unsupported, the 'supporting forces' (or resisting forces)of the lower floors would have made the upper floors continue their tipping until it fell over and off the remaining floors of the building. The total collapse was unfathomable. With the top floors shed, I would have expected the wrecked interface area to extent only a few floors below where the break was. Ultimately I accepted the given wisdom of those who said it was fire and flawed construction that led to the building's failures. However, over the ensuing years after viewing discussions of the collapse by skeptics of the 'official' story, I began being more aware of the arguments. The information presented in the Stephen Jones DVD and the first Richard Gage DVD provide the opportunity to see the reality of the physics of the collapse. Upon further reflection of the laws of physics and engineering principles, I truly believe that even if fire and the trauma to the structure from the collisions were sufficient to instigate the collapse, that it could not propagate very far. The collapse of WTC-7 is wholy unlike any collapse scenario that I can envision ... without it being intentionally destroyed. The building did not wobble, lean, crumble, sag or show signs of failure until it collapsed. Unimaginable! I believe that a new independent investigation is needed.

As a 9/11 first responder who still has my FBI issued identification card from 9/11, and as someone who had previously been trained in demolition and aircraft incident Investigation, I have far too many questions about the events of that day.

So many things I have heard and seen about the destruction of the twin tower buildings, I did not understand. I thought my material science and building construction lectures set me up pretty well with all the principals if not all the mathematics. So how come the buildings just dropped like a stone? Why didn't they fall sideways? The planes did not hit dead centre! and they hit more columns on one side! Why does the mast on top of the building start collapsing before the top deck? Why does the top of the building just start breaking up straight away? Why does it not move as one piece above where the planes hit? Why was there so much dust, billowing clouds,surely not including asbestos? Then they fall down in less than 3 hours? (approx 80minutes and 120minutes) Whats wrong with the Fireproofing? What sort of fuel burns hotter than diesel or petrol also stored in these buildings? What destroys the fireproofing and melts steel, not just makes it sag. Why Molten Metal in the basements weeks after the collapse? Whelen the Wrecker men with boots too hot to wear? Despite continually flooding the basement the fires continue to burn without oxygen. Then a third 47 Storey WTC building fell, again dropping like a stone, despite only being hit by the main tower only on one side. In the Towering Inferno movie the building stays up, time for people to get out despite chaos. We as architects and engineers need to know how to stop the next terrorist plane knocking down one of our buildings.

I am a retired Engineer. I have a BS and MS in Civil Engineering and a PhD in Engineering Mechanics. I have worked as a structural analyst in the offshore oil industry and as a viscoelastic materials expert working on the redesign of the Solid Rocket Boosters following the Challenger disaster. I have also been on the engineering faculties of the University of Illinois (1967-1970) and Mississippi State University (1970-1980).
It is utterly impossible for a modern, properly designed high-rise building to collapse due to localized fires of only a few hours duration. Steel buildings are required to have fireproofing material on all structural members which is designed to prevent the steel from experiencing severely high temperatures for many hours. I believe that a thorough finite-element analysis of all of the WTC buildings (pretty expensive analysis which I do not have the money or computer facilities to undertake) would demonstrate that no reasonable scenario would cause WTC7 to collapse symmetrically except the simultaneous failure of all columns as in a controlled demolition.

The towers and building #7 collapsed at near-freefall velocity, consistent with a controlled demolition. The NIST report is inaccurate, if not entirely bogus. The collapse of the trade towers should be re-investigated as a joint scientific (like the Challenger space shuttle disaster) and criminal (a team of independent forensic scientists) investigation.

I watched the events of 9/11 unfold before my eyes as I watched on live TV when I was six years old. Ever since the very day of the events, I found the whole event suspicious, even at six years old, particularly the nature of how the towers fell, I always knew it looked just unnatural. All my life I still was unsure about the reality of the attack, in the back of my mind I wondered how the events happened the way they did. It wasn't until a year ago that I officially went back, did research, looked back at the video evidence of the day, and quickly pieced together that we were in fact not told the truth of what happened. All the evidence I've been researching for the past year points directly to a conspiracy. Especially the way towers 'collapsed'; reviewing the footage, even me as an amateur, I can look at the video and realize that the towers did not 'collapse', they were brought down by other means. Seeing as how our entire foreign and domestic policy and many of the events in the world of the last 18 years have been based on exploiting this event, I can see no other way to heal as a country and as a world than to go back and do an independent investigation of 9/11 by actual architects, engineers and scientists.

I have never believed that demolitions didn't bring down those buildings and that it wasn't planned. My first inkling of that was video of someone walking into the classroom and speaking into then President Bush' ear. Instead of getting up and telling the children that he needed to cut his time with them short, he instead sat there calmly and continued to read to them. No president who didn't have some involvement would do that!! I saw your story about your son Bobby a couple of years ago, and it truly caught my attention, along with architects and engineers stating that the buildings were brought down by explosives, and then to hear that Building 7 came down after the fact, and that it held records of missing billions of dollars, and then to find out that the owner of the buildings had recently insured them for double or triple (can't remember) the amounts, and that he walked away a VERY rich man.The truth needs to come out to the public, and it just may through the current administration. I'm hoping so at least.

I have studied about the WTC for years and years. Purchased about all book and videos that were made. I know you have to concentrate on Building 7 because of evidence and Twin Towers but Flight 77 (the missile) that hit Pentagon is so obvious. The nose cone could not penetrate all those cement and rebar. Plus where did engines, wings, tail go. Last in all crashes they usually piece the planes back together and they never did on the three objects or so called planes.

I am a Native New Yorker. I have been retired now for 12 years and have moved to Florida but recently visited the museum and memorial. I always had my doubts about the bombing, especially when they told the first responders they didn't need special protection. I worked as a custodian in the school system and had asbestos training. I know those buildings were built in the 70's when they still used it. There's nothing more horrible than still knowing that people are still dying from the exposure. The air quality was toxic for a long time afterward and yet our government allowed people to be exposed because they cannot prove their illnesses were connected. Just horrendous.
I am appalled and convinced that the government is behind the bombing of the world trade buildings. I believe it was done to attack terrorist nations and develops home land security. It was another Pearl Harbor so the people would be afraid. It is horrible how we have been lied too. I visited the 9/11 memorial museum and it is very upsetting to me and my family. I will never forget that day. When I lived in NY there wasn't one day that we weren't reminded of that terrible day. People are still dying from exposure, that building was full of asbestos and the first responders were told that they didn't need special protection. This is so inexcusable on so many levels. Please please let us know what really happened.
