On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I remember September 11, 2001 very clearly. I had the day off from working as a substitute teacher and I heard on the radio about something happening in New York City. I turned on the television in time to see both towers on fire. I remember shortly afterwards watching as the first of the towers started crumbling. I screamed at Peter Jennings (ABC News anchor) - who seemed oblivious to the building coming down on the screen behind him - to turn around and see what was happening. When the other tower came down a little while later, I was in complete shock. I stayed glued to the television all that day and remember distinctly commentators talking about another building that they thought would be coming down soon. And, sure enough, it came down. (As I learned later that building was WTC 7.) I was still in shock but I can distinctly remember saying to myself over and over, 'I didn't know buildings came down like that.'I didn't give the subject much thought after that. I remember starting to watch a NOVA documentary 'Why The Towers Fell' like a year after the events. The explanation seemed plausible but it made me feel uncomfortable watching it and I turned it off. A few years later a student told me about the 'Loose Change' video and I showed some parts of the video in my History of World War II class in conjunction with a discussion about the controversy surrounding the attack on Pearl Harbor. I remember trying to keep an open mind about the 'Loose Change' video but I was turned off by the sensationalistic nature of the film and the questionability of many of its claims.It wasn't until the summer of 2013 - while I was searching online for documentaries for a class on East Asian Studies that I was preparing - that my eyes were opened to what actually happened on 9/11. I was looking at the website topdocumentaryfilms.com and the site had a Documentary Category called '9/11.' At first I avoided clicking it, thinking there would be more videos like 'Loose Change.' But after about a month I decided to go ahead and click it to see what was there. The first documentary I watched was 'Hy.poth.e.sis' (2010) recounting Prof. Steven Jones's story. I remember saying 'What the f*** is this?' This was nothing like 'Loose Change'! I was immediately hooked and look at all the 9/11 videos on topdocumentaryfilms.com and then went out looking for more. I shortly thereafter found Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth as well as all the good work of so many others. The summer of 2013 was truly an epiphany for me and my life has not been the same ever since. Everything makes much more sense now.

The NIST Bldg 7 report, NIST NCSTAR 1-9 concludes that Bldg. 7 collapsed due to ordinary building contents fires, not fires from leaking pressurized fuel lines or fuel from day tanks. in section 8.2 page 324. It also concedes in section 14.2 page 617 that this would be, the first known instance of the total collapse of a tall building primarily due to fires. In section 8.9.2 Hypothetical Blast Events on pages 356 & 357 it considers the possibility of explosive demolition and assumes a 9 lb. RDX charge would have been required to initiate collapse and estimates the resulting blast pressure would have broken many windows and been audible on recordings made at the time. It says that these events did not occur, thus excluding the possibility of explosive demolition. However, unburned particles of thermite were found in dust samples collected on 9/11. Thermite is not an explosive. It would burn thru steel, not blow it apart. It would not have produced a blast pressure wave of the sort produced by RDX. There is no mention of thermite in the NIST report, so it is incomplete. 9/11 Commission Chairman Kean, Vice Chairman Hamilton, Senior Counsel Farmer, Counsel Rundlet, & Member Roemer have stated variously that government witnesses lied to them, withheld evidence, and obstructed their investigation. Commission member Cleland resigned from the Commission stating that the investigation had been compromised.

The freefall collapses of WTC 1, 2, and 7 must be impossible if only due to the entry of the planes, and in the case of 7, the absence of any impact at all. There is clear knowledge of the extremely robust structure in all 3 of them, and a pre-meditated scheme of internal explosions must have played a part. Further to that, the immediate vaporization of the structural cores must have involved some staggering level of explosives technology. The motives therefore seem heinous. In London last year, I witnessed the Grenfell Tower fire. It burnt visibly for at least 3 days with intense heat. 24 stories high, a year later it is still standing, with no deformation whatever.

Approximately one month to the day of September 11, I found myself pondering the recent news reports indicating the potential negative trends of the economy. Since the reports were vague but consistent, I began to ponder as to how they could be accurate. Using my past experience and knowledge as a former Professional service-member I concluded that for a foreign power to disrupt the national economy or physically threaten the nation. It would have to have the capability of bringing down a skyscraper in a major US city. Which, was technically not possible. The idea that the threat could come from within, was not unthinkable. But, at the time it was easier to imagine that such a scheme and it's perpetrators would be exposed. The day I heard the building was hit, I thought it was quite a coincidence. Less than an hour later, I heard someone in the office saying the build had fallen. I thought, impossible. Throughout the days and weeks that followed. I heard so called official reports that, based on my knowledge were either lies or crimes at the highest levels. For instance, it was reported that NORAD did not respond in time because the pilots were involved in a training exercise and was not sure the messages coming in were real or part of the training exercise. In training exercises one crucial elements is to exclude an element form the training in the event of a actual threat. Another fact is that in communications the training takes place in a network of data transmissions specifically designated for non real world training exercises. Either the NSA policies have changed or the NSA was a part of the event.

How is it possible that such a massive structure with steel core, collapses by fire strictly vertically? How is it possible that material gets blasted out of the building so far if fire is the cause of the collapse? Why was there such a high temperature at the base of the building several days after 9/11? Why could comparable buildings resist fire over more time an did not collapse?

Given that the need for a new Pearl Harbor was announced by the crafters & signers of The Project for a New American Century in order to hasten their objectives TWO FULL YEARS before the 9/11 operation took place; I was not completely surprised when it happened. There is a huge old secret government WW2 bunker under Grand Central Terminal in NYC. It so happens has private rail line connecting into the rest of the subway system. Cheney uses this system regularly to this day. (as seen on the Discovery Channel) I believe it is the logical the staging area for the men and materiel needed to place the devices in WTC 1,2 & 7..... in my opinion.

So many things I have heard and seen about the destruction of the twin tower buildings, I did not understand. I thought my material science and building construction lectures set me up pretty well with all the principals if not all the mathematics. So how come the buildings just dropped like a stone? Why didn't they fall sideways? The planes did not hit dead centre! and they hit more columns on one side! Why does the mast on top of the building start collapsing before the top deck? Why does the top of the building just start breaking up straight away? Why does it not move as one piece above where the planes hit? Why was there so much dust, billowing clouds,surely not including asbestos? Then they fall down in less than 3 hours? (approx 80minutes and 120minutes) Whats wrong with the Fireproofing? What sort of fuel burns hotter than diesel or petrol also stored in these buildings? What destroys the fireproofing and melts steel, not just makes it sag. Why Molten Metal in the basements weeks after the collapse? Whelen the Wrecker men with boots too hot to wear? Despite continually flooding the basement the fires continue to burn without oxygen. Then a third 47 Storey WTC building fell, again dropping like a stone, despite only being hit by the main tower only on one side. In the Towering Inferno movie the building stays up, time for people to get out despite chaos. We as architects and engineers need to know how to stop the next terrorist plane knocking down one of our buildings.

I believe that the WTC 7 was a controlled demolition and that we must have a real investigation of all three high-rise collapses on September 11, 2001. I was particularly swayed by the evidence presented in the video showing uniform free fall collapse of WTC 7. This visual information is in stark contrast to the non-uniform fire and debris damage resulting from the north tower collapse.

I have practiced small-scale commercial and residential building and/or architecture for thirty five years. More recently, I have taught Architectural Design at our local Community College.
Everyone who has completed an accredited Architectural program has studied physics, properties of materials, and statics as minimum conditions of receiving a baccalaureate degree. Engineering students receive an even more rigorous education and training. As a licensed Architect or engineer we have received practical experience and relatively rigorous testing. If we can suspend our belief systems, and look at this event as a set of physical causes and effects, we will find much evidence to hypothesize causes other than those expressed by the Official reports of what occurred on September 11, 2001. For my part, I am expecting information at the level at which I was trained and tested in order to have the right and privilege to practice Architecture California.

I was trained for one year at the Rhode Island School of Design and then five years at the School of Architecture of the Cooper Union in New York City. We studied physics and structural engineering in addition to conceptual design.
My statement regarding the building collapses of 9/11 would be Why was the cover up allowed? The families of the victims were paid off in legal settlements without ever having the satisfaction of a full investigation of the events of 9/11...Why??? This investigation should include the fall of the buildings and all of the events of that day.

I think the main reason many people don't want to even consider the possibility (some say certainty) that the reasons for the WTC collapse is that it makes you consider the implications--the who/what/whys...and forces you to consider some ideas so horrible and evil that no one would want to face it. But reluctance is not a valid reason for not seeking the answer.

After viewing the information on AE9/11 Truth website, there should be no question, for anyone with the slightest knowledge of construction, that WTC 1, 2 and 7 were all controlled-demolitions. That fact alone indicates an inside job that unquestionably implicates many in our own government. Who else could orchestra such terrorism as all that happened on 9/11 and then so quickly mask it all by mass-hypnosis through the media? I believe that there needs to be an independent investigation into the collapse of these buildings as there are many questions which are unanswered. The inconclusive results from the government investigation is not acceptable. I believe that especially building 7 is highly suspect of foul play as it came down in it's own footprint with only minor damage from the twin towers.

I graduated from the University of Idaho in 1997 with a degree in Architecture. I am 2/3 done with my state license exams. I have been involved with commercial projects for all of my architectural career. I have worked with many materials from wood, concrete, and steel. I have only experience in low rise buildings no higher then 3 stories.
I believe from my professional experience and from reviewing the footage that the building collapses, were not from fires or the plane impacts. From my studies of building collapse in college structural courses no building collapses that we studied collapsed such a uniform manner, and speed. There is only one way that this occurred and that is for internal explosions on the structural support columns similar to a demolition of a building would occur. There was not enough damage to building 7 to cause a structural collapses. This is my opinion on the collapses, a basic understanding of structural properties of steel and concrete, a knowledge of physics, and some common since have brought me to this conclusion.

Not necessarily disputing geo-social origins of: the hi-jacked plane(s), etc. My opinion is strictly limited to the physical collapse. - - In my opinion, the collapse(s) were possibly mechanically / explosively-assisted. By many accounts these buildings housed some very important tenants, which may keep very important information files, etc. There is the possibility that these buildings have been pre-wired to be demolished if security were ever to be breached in a major way. Anecdotaly speaking: remember the opening scenes of the original Mission Impossible?...this tape will self-destruct in 30 seconds. In my opinion the term pull it had to do with orders to destroy the properties due to un-avoidable security breaches that would ensue as a result of a myriad of persons going into previously secured areas of the buildings....thus the twin towers and the third building. This is my own opinion, I have never read this nor heard this anywhere. It is only my opinion/theory.

I think there are enough questions about the collapse of the Twin Towers and, in particular, Building 7, that further investigation is essential to know what really happened that day.

There is no scientific means that the crash of the jets and subsequent fires could have caused the structural failure and collapse of Tower 7 and Towers 1,2. If well observed in all collapses one can see demolition blasts sequences as the tower come down. Surely they must be thermite charges because they are the only type explosive that could generate the heat for structural steel failure and sequential collapse. Also when one sees the vaporization of human and material remains and the debris pike below glowed at 3000 degrees f with thermite traces, it is obvious it was a black ops operation.

On 9/11 I felt, no that cannot be, that is not right. I just saw 3 buildings destroyed by controlled demolition. It immediately made me perk up and pay attention. I began to wonder what this meant. after a week of news it became apparent this was much more than everyone was thinking. The witnesses were saying there were explosions / I thought the idea of pancaking was contradictory to the structure I knew the towers had. These buildings just could not free-fall without some kind of explosive help getting rid of key core columns.

Seems to me that since explosives had been planted in WTC towers before 9/11 and the fact that the WTC 9/11 plane crashes weren't random (the towers were the target). It seems quite logical that some additional explosives were planted within the towers via insider or security breach to increase destructive impact of attack on towers.

The need to find out the full truth about the collapses, whatever it is. Concerned about the fact of absolutely all-sided perfect symmetric drop down, while both burns and TOP collapses were absolutely asymmetrical. Concerned about the totally simultaneous drop of floors, ceiling cage AND core. Every structural logic tells us that the core must stand or fall over later. These are two strongly visible feats. Besides hundreds of little details.
