To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The NIST Bldg 7 report, NIST NCSTAR 1-9 concludes that Bldg. 7 collapsed due to ordinary building contents fires, not fires from leaking pressurized fuel lines or fuel from day tanks. in section 8.2 page 324. It also concedes in section 14.2 page 617 that this would be, the first known instance of the total collapse of a tall building primarily due to fires. In section 8.9.2 Hypothetical Blast Events on pages 356 & 357 it considers the possibility of explosive demolition and assumes a 9 lb. RDX charge would have been required to initiate collapse and estimates the resulting blast pressure would have broken many windows and been audible on recordings made at the time. It says that these events did not occur, thus excluding the possibility of explosive demolition. However, unburned particles of thermite were found in dust samples collected on 9/11. Thermite is not an explosive. It would burn thru steel, not blow it apart. It would not have produced a blast pressure wave of the sort produced by RDX. There is no mention of thermite in the NIST report, so it is incomplete. 9/11 Commission Chairman Kean, Vice Chairman Hamilton, Senior Counsel Farmer, Counsel Rundlet, & Member Roemer have stated variously that government witnesses lied to them, withheld evidence, and obstructed their investigation. Commission member Cleland resigned from the Commission stating that the investigation had been compromised.

Don't tell me that american engineers don't know how to construct buildings properly, because I would not believe you. Did building 7 collaps because of shoddy construction work?I doubt it! I have worked with iron, copper, aluminum and tungsten thermite. I have developed ignition systems, delivery systems and welding with it. I know what thermite looks like when it burns. I know what the molten material looks like and that is exactly what was shown pouring out the side of the tower on 9/11. Thermite does not happen by accident and jet fuel and office fires do not melt steel!

I am familiar with steel construction in large plant complexes and I have watched many controlled demolitions. I was convinced when I saw the buildings come down that the planes had nothing to do with the explosive destruction of the twin towers. I was absolutely convinced a few hours later when I watched Building 7 come down. I also heard Mr. Silverstein state that he was involved in the decision to 'pull' the building. That same afternoon I shared my thoughts with co-workers and was met with very cold responses. I decided to wait until the evidence started to show up. I praise AE911truth for standing for the truth and greatly appreciate the collection of solid evidence you have assimilated. It has been my pleasure and responsibility to spread your information to as many people who will listen. There are powerful interests who do not want the facts of 9/11 known or it would have been investigated as a crime immediately. The challenge will be finding an investigator fearless enough to go wherever the facts lead, but if there is such a person in the US, he or she would never be appointed to lead an investigation of 9/11. Therefore it's equally or maybe even more important to uncover the facts and publicize them, as AE911truth.org is doing. That needs to happen before 9/11 goes down the memory hole.

The cause of building WTC 7's collapse per the single point failure article did not show how the forces were transmitted through the truss members from the supposed column on the east side of the building (the initiating event) through to the other columns which were several hundred feet away. The article mentions progressive failures from this initial event, however the video of the collapse shows no such progression. Each and west sides fell simultaneously.

There's no way it happened as the official explanation states. John Brennan was CIA chief of station in Saudi Arabia at the time. I believe the CIA learned of the plot. Their superiors -- if the CIA has superiors -- were informed. For a range of possible motives, they then permitted it to happen. Knowing the approximate date, they made sure that it would be spectacular when it happened and seeded the buildings with nanothermite-enhanced explosive squibs. Given that, I think that it's equally possible that it was the CIA's idea from the start and that they worked with indigenous nationals to recruit the perps.
