To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The collapse of the WTC towers and WTC 7 strongly resemble that of a perfectly carried out controlled demolition: a straight-down collapse of the structure at close to free-fall speed. Video-footage showing flashes of light across the buildings and witnesses talking of hearing explosions shortly before the collapse support this.

Agree with professional assessment that this was a controlled demolition. Everything from plane impact not able to cause structural failure to temperatures reached to produce molten steel to the floor by floor collapse instantly prove to any educated and rational architectural or engineering mind the absolute ridiculousness of the assertion that two impacting jet liners caused the towers to fall. This is the most diabolical lie and cover up known to humankind. Whoever is responsible for this sham is far more evil and dangerous than any militant Islamic terrorist could ever be. Obviously the purpose of this ruse was to fool the much greater number of less educated and lesser informed individuals of the American public who would never be able to see past the illusion due to their lack of experience and expertise in architecture and/or engineering.

The statement that the Twin Towers and WTC 7 were brought down by controlled demolition is proven conclusively by the empirical evidence and basic physics. With no hesitation I demand a new totally open public investigation, unlimited in scope-of-inquiry -- even if such may open disturbing issues requiring honest and open resolution. We must accept nothing less than total openness and an an impartial search for absolute truth. The USA and the world deserve no less.

"The twin towers did not perfectly collapse into their footprint in 10 seconds because planes flew into them. These buildings were designed to be hit by a plane. No skyscraper in history has fallen down as the result of a fire. Why did Building 7 perfectly collapse into its footprint the same day around 5pm? The fire department was warned in advance that this building would be ""pulled"" as Larry Silverstein admitted to on video. Why was he not arrested, detained and questioned? Like Building 7, the Twin Towers fell from a controlled demolition. Americans were lied to about 9/11 and our government continues to lie us into wars. Stop giving credibility to these lies."

I was in kindergarten on 09/11/01 and don't really remember that day, but I do remember noticing a shift in our culture during the months immediately after the attacks. When I started learning more about the attacks when I was a teenager, I had a strong feeling that the government wasn't telling us the whole truth. I find it terrifying that our government would use thousands of innocent civilians as pawns in an attempt to start a war create an agency capable of surveilling every American citizen at all times. I watched the airplanes go into the Towers 1 and 2 on the news that morning. As the towers came down I remember saying to my husband how they had looked like some of the implosions we had watched when bldgs had been professionally demolished.
