On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Such buildings do not free-fall even if struck by a jumbo jet. The physics of falling objects in earth's gravitational field do not allow building free-fall unless uniformly 'pulled down' with explosives.

The following questions need to be addressed and answered, without the use of explosives, for the official story about 9/11 (as described in the 9/11 Commission Report, the FEMA report, and the NIST report) to be true. 1. The first question deals with the total collapse of World Trade Center Building 7. This 47-story skyscraper was not hit by an aircraft and would have been the tallest building in 33 of our states. Yet, it collapsed into a tidy rubble pile in 6.5 seconds in the exact manner of a controlled demolition at 5:20 PM on September 11, 2001. Please describe or explain a non-explosive scenario for the total collapse of this building that is in agreement with all the evidence known to date. 2. The second question deals with the Twin Towers (World Trade Center Buildings 1 and 2) and the 90,000 tons of metal decking, concrete floors, drywall, office furniture, and missing bodies that were pulverized in mid-air during the total collapse of these buildings. Please describe or explain a non-explosive scenario for the complete pulverization of all of these materials into dust in 10-13 seconds. 3. The third question deals with the free-fall speed of the collapse of all three buildings. Please describe a non-explosive scenario that explains the symmetrical collapse of each of these buildings straight down'through the path of greatest resistance'at an acceleration that is indistinguishable from free-fall acceleration in a vacuum. 4. The fourth question deals with the molten metal that was observed below Ground Zero by many people after the buildings collapsed. Please describe a non-explosive scenario that explains how Ground Zero remained an inferno and how molten metal remained fluid for a least six weeks after the collapse. 5. The fifth question deals with the steel framework in most modern skyscrapers including the Twin Towers and Building 7. This metal framework conducts heat rapidly, distributing it throughout the entire structure, which explains why no steel-framed skyscraper had ever collapsed due to fire prior to 9/11. Please therefore describe or explain how the massive framework of structural steel in the World Trade Center (which had a melting point of 2750 degrees Fahrenheit) could have been fatally weakened by localized jet-fuel fires (which reach a maximum temperature of 1800 degrees Fahrenheit) without the aid of explosives.

The way the building collapsed ( WTC ) looks very very suspicious. A tower that high could not have collapsed that neatly, debris crushing down like that, and had hardly affected the surrounding in terms of damages from the expected towers' side way topple. Could that amount of fuel melted the steel core in such a short time span ? People were still speaking on mobile phones from inside the tower, minutes before the collapse though choking in smoke. The supposed heat that melted the steel could have incinerated the people before they could continue speaking for so long up and until before the collapse.

The day of 9/11, while vewing on TV the tower's collapse, I could not believe 4 things: first the regular speed of the collapse (I remember myself estimating this speed... again and again), second: I could'nt believe that the fire could do that (most of the keros'ne burned outside just after plane crash), third: I could'nt explain disparition of the central metal structure of the towers... fourth: I didn't know of building 7 at the time!!! It's incredible that most people believe the official version !!!! A real inquiry is absolutly necesary.

HUAC hearings in San Francisco, blatant government lies about Vietnam, CIA involvement in Central and South America, all these things make me very suspicious. The truth needs to be exposed. I'm perfectly happy to accept that no conspiracy happened on 9/11 if it can be demonstrated, but we must know the facts.
This has always seemed strange to me, along with the Pentagon attack where no photographs actually show penetration by an airplane. Whether there was a conspiracy or not, when the government hides facts and information there must be more investigation.

The collapse of a single structure under the circumstances of the events of 9/11/01 is improbable. Three steel structures collapsing vertically at free fall speed, one not even impacted, is inconceivable. - - My training and experience tells me that Tower 7 should have failed asymmetrically, if at all.

How did the 3rd building (WTC7) fall? It was not hit by a plane. It had relatively minor fires burning within and its collapse was reported by the BBC approximately 1/2 hour before it fell with a picture of the building in the background of the reporter's reporting of the story. That clip used to be on YouTube before they pulled it off. It fell completely into its own footprint and looks exactly like a controlled demolition. A building is similar to a tree. If you weaken part of it; for example. by chainsawing part of the trunk then it will fall to the ground on an angle. However, if you take it down in a controlled way, by cutting off pieces at a time then it will come down in a controlled fashion. The same thing had to happen with the 2 large towers. The airplane strikes were a foil or a smokescreen for the controlled demolition explosives placed throughout the buildings. If the airplanes were responsible for their destruction then both would have fallen on an angle into the surrounding city blocks. Instead, they came down at near free fall speed into their own footprints.

In the bigger picture, architecture for the people shall be designed and built free of the use of fossil fuels, so that we can get off of our foreign oil dependence and cease senseless wars such as this.

Being from the architectural/engineering field...I have always been fascinated about the collapse of the two towers. I, like many people, viewed the conspiracy tapes on www.youtube.com showing these supposed bombs going off as the towers fell. Frankly...what I saw didn't convince me of any nefarious actions. - - - - I never did quite understand how the building's collapsed completely within it's footprint....instead of tipping over. That always puzzled me greatly. I, like most of America, bought the pablum that they fed us.....it was the fires from the planes that melted the support columns. The fire proofing was either missing from the columns (as they were in the process of retrofitting this at the time of the collapse) or it was knocked off from the impact of the jets. - - - - I read many items on these theories...including a book called 102 Minutes, which pretty much settled my curiosity about any doubts I had. However, I'm not a scientist, or structural engineer so I just accepted what was said....but always had a kernel of doubt still in my mind. - - - - So I hear Richard Gage on KGO, San Francisco this morning and BECAUSE of his expertise and his eloquent explanation about the forensic facts and basic science disproving the story we were given....I sat up and took notice. I think many people are afraid to voice their doubts for fear of sounding like a nut....but when science enters into the facts...I think people will listen. I did.

Type 1 - fireproofed structural steel in buildings just would not melt and cause a controlled collapse in the manner shown as all three buildings did. The structural steel beams and columns had spray fireproofing on it and the buildings had fire sprinklers. The collapse of these building is even more unlikely given the time it took from impact of the planes till collapse.

I watched the 911 event on television. Although I didn't see the first airplane strike the first tower, I did watch the second plane strike the second tower and then all the other events at the Pentagon. I wasn't aware of Bldg. 7 until later. At the time, I couldn't believe what I saw, and knowing what I know about steel building structures and airplane airframes and skins, I knew that the building shredded the plane like French fries and as to the weight of the plane, I knew that that would not be a problem. So when the building came down I was speechless. I think I said, 'No, that can't happen', but it did. When I became aware of Building 7, I joined this group of A & E''s. Building 7 came down in a controlled demolishing fashion, it was so obvious. I have been watching Richard Gage's efforts and research ever since. Most of my piers don't want to get involved and I don't understand that, other than it is high stress and they already exist in a high stress industry. High stress such as this event s not healthy, most just want to move on. I understand that but continue to send letters to my Senators to review information on 911 Truth's web page. Did it last week stressing the research and data collected on Building 7 in an effort to get NIST to do the right thing.

In this case, it doesn't take an expert to comprehend the massive energy necessary to pulverize these major high-rise towers. They were built to last. As such, buildings like this just don't turn to dust in a matter of seconds as a result of fire coupled with the force of gravity. Other buildings similar to Seven experienced fires of greater duration and intensity and did not dissolve. Only these three buildings disappeared into a cloud of dust taking with them thousands of souls. Why?

The free-fall collapse of the fire protected steel-frame structure of World Trade Center #7 could not have been caused by the limited structural damage and office fires which were observed prior to collapse. Seeing videos of 'Building seven' falling 'free fall' straight down I began to question the official explanation. Controlled demolition comes to my mind. Free fall only occurs if there is no support. WTC building 7`s entire upper half is observed to free fall several floors. I doubt NIST's explanation that simple fires caused a simultaneous collapse of all the static structures and to make the observed building collapse possible. Repeatedly claims of finding nanothermite in the debris could explain some ... I doubt NIST's`explanation on the cause of the WTC 1 and 2 collapses.

I think the actual collapse of the towers came as such a shock to most people because it was so unexpected and unprecedented. I think most people are aware, deep down, that buildings of this nature do not suddenly come crashing down as they did. I think the strange collapse of WTC 7 really enabled me to take a detached and objective view of the destruction of the three towers and the events of 911 as a whole.

I'm enthusiastic about getting a new investigation. We have not seen the truth from the existing investigations. It is a scandal!

The reasons for the collapse of the twin towers, as officially conveyed, are not convincing at all. The truth must be dug out through scientific investigations in order to put the record straight and to protect the future of this world from the machinations of a few.
