PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The first thing that concerned me in the 'pancake' theory of the tower floors was after I saw photos and plans of the core column structure. There is no contiguous floor through the core area. If the floors did pancake, then the basically hollow square floors outside of the exterior of the core would have sheared off and collapsed leaving the core standing. As an analogy, the core is the 'trunk' of the tower, giving bending resistance (stiffness) and vertical support. There is no reason to believe that collapsing floors surrounding it would affect it.

I am a retired Major General, Army National Guard, and I have 38 years of work as a mechanical engineer with the department of Navy in the design of weapons, components, and transportation means. I have read numerous reports containing both calculations and science as well as opinions, watched numerous videos of interviews with experts, watched the collapse of all buildings more times than I can accurately state and there are many factors which simply do not fit the scenario. What I have read of the residual chemical evidence pointing to materials for which there is no logical explanation, other than that an explosives expert with unique access to materials was involved. Most importantly, perhaps, is the indisputable fact that all three buildings fell as in a controlled demolitions scenario. The fuel from the planes did not have enough energy to transfer to the massive central support beams and cause structural failure. Therefore, something else had to be in play to cause what we saw. Then in Building 7, it had no damage from a plane strike. What would have caused it to fall shortly after the owner's decision to 'pull it'? My view is that this is a false flag operation and the USA is up to it's eyeballs in it. I have not continuously followed this crime because it was clear from the beginning that it was being swept under the rug, but there were some very resourceful engineers who studied the rate of acceleration of the fall of the two towers and determined that there was insignificant deviation from free fall. Meaning that the towers did not take a detour and crash their way down one floor at a time, overcoming the strength of each floor, which equates to time, thus loosing that straight-line acceleration we would expect unless a number of floors were assisted by controlled demolition. And what about all that molten steel that was running like a small stream in the basement with traces of thermite in it?

I have 20 years post graduate experience as a structural engineer working in the offshore oil and gas, and laterally, renewable energy sectors. I have been running my own consultancy company for the last 10 years providing structural engineering services to offshore wind, wave and tidal energy projects.
The collapses of the towers appear to happen in a symmetric fashion at free fall velocity - indicating the use of demolition. Molten metal in the basement and columns sliced neatly at 45 degrees indicates the use of thermite. The collapse of Building 7 is particularly suspicious given that it was only hit by falling debris - and if was going to collapse at all - it certainly would not have been symmetrical - nor complete.Fire endurance tests with actual models failed to cause collapse. The NIST structural simulations - are not full simulations from the moment of impact to final collapse and the failure mechanisms seem to have been manually adjusted rather than relying on the pure physics capabilities of the software. The pulling forces on the perimeter columns by the sagging floors were adjusted' (NIST, 2005, p. 142) to cause yielding. A full and proper non-partisan peer reviewed set of analysis simulations has yet to be carried out. I suspect proper simulation will verify the physical model test results i.e. the buildings would not have collapsed due to aircraft impact alone.

It's hard for me to accept the collapse of building #7, as this building sustained no Structural damage and that the building came down due to an office fire. Technically and structurally this is impossible for a steel structure to come down by a fire. I couldn't believe it when it all fell down. It was a shock. My mind said 2 planes could not have done that. They just went through the Steel Building like they were butter. The fires from the could not have lasted long enough to melt that steel. It was not possible. I watched the fires get worse, I watched as people jumped from the building. It was a Horrible site. Building 7 didn't look like it was even touched, yet it suddenly fell in its own foot print. The towers fell in their own foot print. It didn't happen like they said it did. The cement was dust, the buildings were dust. Not possible.

I am a C.P.A. who has dealt with fraud detection and installing good internal controls so I know when things do not really seem to add up. I also am somewhat familiar with weighing evidence and there seems to be a lot of circumstantial evidence that 9/11 was allowed to happen or could have even been an inside government job.

I observed the air strikes on television, I was amazed how quickly the structures failed. Having experience in structural steel fireproofing systems, I believe the collapses happened because of the extreme heat of burning jet fuel (2500 + degrees) accelerated the failure of the fire protection. Normal building fires burn at much less temperatures.

I have studied and graduated in Forest & Nature Conservation, which gave me my title. However, the last 8 years I have been working in the building construction business as a draftsman. I have been studying the 9/11 case for the last 3 years. If the official 9/11 statements are considered to be facts, the building construction is likely to be changed dramatically, for steel has obviously lost it's capability to support buildings during a short and small fire.
Among an immense lot of other arguments, the three most convincing ones to me are the molten metal observations, pictures and footage at the Twin Towers, the symmetrical collapse of WTC7 and the remarkable statement of G.W. Bush saying that, while seeing the footage of the first impact, he thought: What a terrible pilot. We all know that he couldn't have possibly seen these images before the second impact, for this footage wasn't available until 10 or so hours after the first impact. It was only after the second impact that we all (including him) knew that it wasn't an accident, but an attack. This is pure evidence!

I worked for years as a physical plant operator/building engineer in 2 of the hi-rise buildings in the downtown central business district of Dallas, Texas. You do develop a feel for the inherent strength of these steel structure hi- rise buildings.
The only three buildings of their type to collapse from fire in history, all in one day, all in one place, all at free-fall speed, all neatly into their own foot-print, and all of them in time for the national evening news. How convenient! This is patently absurd.
