PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have been involved in engineering and construction for 38 years. I had worked for the Defense Department for 8 years and held two secret clearances, and I had worked on the space program for four years. I come from a military/law enforcement family background, and I have always questioned the cover-ups involving the assassinations of the 1960's. I teach at the college level now. The video evidence clearly and forthrightly shows explosive ejections far below the zone of visible collapse on all three buildings. This, for me, is sufficient to investigate in excruciating detail, the actual causes of the collapse. Steel does not fail in this manner. The evidence collected thus far is conclusive in my mind that the towers, which were designed to withstand the impact of a jetliner, did not fail from the impact of the airplanes or the subsequent fire.

I have a Diploma in Building Control/Building Surveying and I am a retired Member of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers. I was employed within local authority building control and had responsibility for ensuring that building work within an area of central London complied with UK building regulations. I have experience with nearly all types of property and their uses and this includes iconic high rise office buildings. My duties included checking plans submitted for building regulation approval and for inspecting the progress and quality of work on site. I have expertise in fire safety and had responsibility for the inspection and fire certification of buildings, the assessment of innovative structural fire engineered designs and the evaluation of prescriptive and non-prescriptive solutions for means of escape in case of fire.
It is beyond credibility for the twin towers WTC1 and WTC2 and for building WTC7 to have all collapsed in such an unpredictable and totally unprecedented manner. All three had failure characteristics which defy logical explanation unless controlled demolition is considered. The observed fire and impact loads have all been shown by independent professional investigation to be well within the design parameters of each building and that total collapse should not have occurred in any one of them never mind all three. It is time for politicians and the media to carry out their public duty and call for a new and impartial public investigation where all the evidence both for and against the official position can be seen and heard.

But seeing (for the first time) those videos shown in the film accompanying this petition-signing request, I agree that the fall was too orderly--much as was the fall of WTC2 that I actually watched go down--to have been generated by a single internal blast. The appearance of controlled demolition by use of explosives is more than overwhelming when viewing the collapse of the Twin Towers. The evidence of the vertical cuts on the remaing standing columns is very powerful and conclusive. I have researched jet that crashed at Skranston,PA. and find there are many inconsistencies with the crash scene as compaared to other similar jet crash scenes, the lack of black box data only being one of many. I have also researched the crash data at the pentagon site and found there many holes in the official explanation of this crash as well. There are far too many unanswered questions and omission of facts in the official reports for them to have any credibility.

Niel Bush headed security until September 10th and had also been responsible for security at Dulles airport. The official report on 9-11 was a conspiracy theory that should be debunked.

Like any techie. I weigh information a hundred times before I make any conclusions. Originally I was able to accept the Towers falling because seemed to make sense the weight of the airliners crushing what was below them. Then I was very puzzled about WTC #7 seemed odd didn't seem explainable to me. I had a difficult time moving on..A lot of things didn't make sense to me, seemed rehearsed, people told me odd stories about how the Bin Laden family jet was allowed to leave our country in a no fly zone. Despite the fact we had a confession Bin Laden was the executioner. Then when for no reason W. started making remarks he wasn't interested in finding Bin Laden n that we were leaving Afghanistan to go to Iraq. I became more suspicious than ever. One day a small miracle happened to me, I began reading the study's of Dr. Steve E. Jones finally I was reading some thing that made sense to me. the un explainable was being explained. I was reading doc. prepared bye lic. professionals scientist..not politicians. A new investigation is necessary n Dr. Jones needs to be applauded a hero for taking on the entire govt. alone with his notes. Last of the truly honorable, confident hi quality persons.

Although I've never worked as an engineer, I graduated with the second highest marks in my class. I've always had an interest in large buildings in general, steel and concrete in particular, and visited the WTC twice - in the 70's and again in the 80's.
My opinion is the explosive nature of the collapse has always 'looked' wrong: failure should have been gradual, with large deformation of the large steel members. Also I believe there should have been a substantial amount of each building left standing - particularly the elevator shaft and exterior steel walls near the ground. If the buildings failed due to the 'official' explanation - then there has to be a major change in the way steel structures are designed. I saw the WTC in person more than once, and cannot believe it would have collapsed in the manner it did...without some additional assistance.

I watched with horror as these events unfolded live. I was at GM and at least 25 other engineers were present when the first tower collapsed. Without exception, everyone said that what they were witnessing was not a direct result of the plane impact or the fire; it was as a result of a controlled demolition. No doubt ever remained when the other two buildings came down in the same manner. It is a crime that such a whitewashing and cover up came out of the 9/11 Commission. Everyone who approved that report should be charged with perjury and tried for treason. The American People deserve the truth.
