PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The buildings include airports, mental health facilities, courthouses, museums, large horticultural and conservatory facilities, recreation facilities, golf clubhouses, and park pavilions, to name a few. I have over 20 years experience in private practice and was an architect for a fortune 500 corporation for over 8 years. WTC Building #7 could not have fallen to the ground as swiftly as it did without assistance from some outside source other than an aircraft or falling debris. The Empire State Building did not fall to the ground when it was hit by a huge propeller driven aircraft. WTC 1 & 2 should not have fallen either. Something helped those buildings collapse on themselves, something other than those jet aircraft.

Having reviewed a great amount of the published findings associated with the 9/11 events - official and otherwise - I find myself compelled to seek a revisiting of the facts and circumstances surrounding the event in order that a more definitively exhaustive and conclusive accounting of this significant episode in the history of our country might be forthcoming. Upon much reflection I sincerely believe that to stand by and allow the 'fog of war' to interfere in the attainment of the 'truth' is 'unpatriotic' and inexcusable on my part as a taxpaying and law-abiding US Citizen and a member of the architecture profession. The 'official' accounting as rendered by the 9/11 Commission/NIST has been measured and found to be somewhat lacking as regards scope. Questions i still have relate to the building design having a series of elevator shafts in sections that were offset as floor levels got higher - one tower had the top section bent over but did not fall of the building ? - when the floors collapsed the elevator shafts would suggest that it would have fallen over to one side. Also thermite type 'dross' spurting out and dripping down most of the tower still actively burning orange - Little to no resistance in motion of collapses - and asbestos coated lower floor beams and other fire retardant materials coated on beams above.( fire rated 2-3 hours) Questions of fire temps.

Something didn't ring truth about the entire tragedy. I had seen demolition in my twenties as my husband was a brick mason, before becoming a high school teacher. One and half years before 9/11, I went to NY as a Sophomore in high school and it had a wonder effect on me as a citizen of the U.S. I have many pictures taken with my best friend since the first-week of Kindergarten, whom we are still friends now (21 years). 9/11 occurred in September of my senior year. So I have yet to experience life in adult years that is not in the time of war. I know nothing different: war, recession , and depression. If this was planned by the U.S. military in direction by the U.S. President and Vice President or other in his direction, they should be brought to justice - whatever that might intel.

I am an electrical engineer that has worked at these Fortune 500 Companies: Sony Ericsson, Nortel and IBM. After 911, I was laid off and decided to go into business for myself.
Besides being an engineer, I am also a welder and I know the melting point of the metals used in the towers. Jet fuel does not burn at a temperature hot enough to cause steel to buckle. I just don't understand how all the steel columns in both buildings can buckle simultaneously causing the building to collapse directly on top of its footings.

I have installed Cameras at SFO air traffic controller building to identify terrorist hijackers. I designed a footstep sensing system at Westinghouse's Nuclear Launching facility on San Francisco's Candlestick point. This system alerts security if anyone walks onto their concrete pier. How does a third building collapse without a plane hitting it? You don't have to be a fireman or architect to know that it is impossible to collapse a building like that without demolition explosives. Was this even investigated? How can anyone disregard the fact that this third building fell on it's own accord? What the heck is going on? This sounds like major incompetence. What are the names of the scientists who investigated this third building? Where is all the outrage this fact should elicit? I just read this fact that a third building neatly demolished itself, all by itself with no help? It does not take a learned man to see that there is a great injustice here. I want to know the names of the investigators who investigated this third collapse. You mean to tell me that there is no logical explanation for the collapse? I just do not believe that in a country as advanced as ours we have let this impossibility be unexplained!

On the day of the attacks, I did not understand why the twin towers completely collapsed. No explanation given by the U.S. government is satisfactory to me. The collapse of building 7 is particularly disturbing, as it fell quickly and appeared to have been demolished. The airplanes slammed into the buildings and these structures were capable of absorbing this kinetic energy without falling. It is only after nearly an hour of fire on the top floors that the buildings went into free fall. This seems impossible for the structure beneath the fire was cold and had it's structural strength and should not have collapsed.

Growing up as a child of an architect I have been the constant critical observer. Throughout my education at Cornell I studied the psychological and physiological effects of the environment on people. This was 'Below the surface' the things that are harder to make assumptions about. Going on to my Masters of Architecture, at Rensselaer, the physical realities of how spaces are formed became the balance to my undergrad. I now work daily on complex environments, primarily hospitals, and the balance between technology, user-needs, advances in patient care, and the utmost concern about security, life-safety, and infection control.
9/11 I was at Cornell, and will never forget the terror of watching the towers fall on television. Nearly everyone on campus knew someone in 'the area' they were extremely concerned about. The event had repercussions beyond personal tragedies and emotional detriment. Throughout my education the event became an example of another facet of architecture, site design, engineering and planning; one that lies somewhere between the reality of preparedness and the architecture of fear. I feel as though any event that so strongly impacts the course of education must be investigated, harnessing the present technology, in order to confirm or debunk assumptions that will be passed on for generations of designers and engineers.

I'm currently working independently as an architectural consultant and work closely with top construction researchers in Korea (ie with professors of graduate schools of architecture and engineering and construction research institutes). Past employment history include working as associate architect for a non-profit architectural firm in Chicago dealing mostly with urban redevelopment of impoverished zones.
I have read and watched many alternative explanations which seems to conflict with US Government's explanation of the collapse of the towers. I question the implosion of the building and how it affected the adjacent towers to implode in a very unlikely way without being a calculated demolition. From my experience with rehabbing burnt semi-high rise building, I have a lot of doubts with the official explanation of the collapse caused by jet-fuel burning of structural steel.
