PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I received a BS in Architectural Engineering from the University of Wyoming in '98 and worked as a Consulting Mechanical Engineer for 5 years after.
After reviewing the data, photos, video accounts, statements from first responders, explanation for the collapse, etc. I believe that the FEMA explanation is inaccurate and requires further investigation. The upper floors affected by the impact could have caused structural failure, but this does not explain the complete and total failure of the supporting structure of the floors below. The explanation of the fire from the impact and jet fuel causing the total and complete failure of the supporting structures is false due to the relatively low temperatures of the fires and the massive amounts of structural steel at the core of the building. The pancake theory of collapse would support the evidence of several of the lower floors at ground zero. There was no evidence of anything that resembled a floor structure, nor any concrete pieces that were bigger than the size of a fist. This is evidence that would support the use of explosives instead of a natural building collapse due to upper level failure and subsequent gravitational impact.

I saw a seeming credible video from BBC news reporting it's collapse prior to the actual free fall in it's print, of what appeared, to even me a layman, to be a controlled demolition. I could go on & on with other points, proving it all doesn't add up. I also wonder if it's true that certain people affiliated and/or related to Osama Bin Laden were flown out of our country directly afterward, when there was a no fly order for the rest of US? The 911 events were clearly one of our times largest hidden crimes. There is NO DOUBT in my mind that the buildings on 911 were destroyed by controlled demolition. The progressive collapse of the buildings (all 3) faces little to no resistance as they fell. The theory used in the World Trade Centers 1 and 2 of the 'domino' affect has NEVER happened in any previous structure and when plugged into the software, shows that it can not happen in the way it did on that day. And then there is building 7, the smoking gun. Too bad they could not blame that one on the 'domino' affect. There is so much crime that occurred on that day, and the government of the USA covering it up and not carefully investigating it only indicates their guilt in that crime. - - - - I remember in October of 2003, a group of Civil Engineers walked into our University and forced us (made it a graduating requirement) to watch their presentation, which explained how the jet fuel was responsible for the collapse. Their explanation made no sense, and when they were hammered with questions, their lies or lack of knowledge leaked out their teeth.

Questions i still have relate to the building design having a series of elevator shafts in sections that were offset as floor levels got higher - one tower had the top section bent over but did not fall of the building ? - when the floors collapsed the elevator shafts would suggest that it would have fallen over to one side. One and half years before 9/11, I went to NY as a Sophomore in high school and it had a wonder effect on me as a citizen of the U.S. I have many pictures taken with my best friend since the first-week of Kindergarten, whom we are still friends now (21 years). 9/11 occurred in September of my senior year. So I have yet to experience life in adult years that is not in the time of war. I know nothing different: war, recession , and depression. I am an electrical engineer that has worked at these Fortune 500 Companies: Sony Ericsson, Nortel and IBM. After 911, I was laid off and decided to go into business for myself.
Besides being an engineer, I am also a welder and I know the melting point of the metals used in the towers. Jet fuel does not burn at a temperature hot enough to cause steel to buckle. I just don't understand how all the steel columns in both buildings can buckle simultaneously causing the building to collapse directly on top of its footings.

Born and raised in San Francisco, I studied electronics and now am an Intercom System and Security System Contractor. I have installed Cameras at SFO air traffic controller building to identify terrorist hijackers. I designed a footstep sensing system at Westinghouse's Nuclear Launching facility on San Francisco's Candlestick point. This system alerts security if anyone walks onto their concrete pier. How does a third building collapse without a plane hitting it? You don't have to be a fireman or architect to know that it is impossible to collapse a building like that without demolition explosives. Was this even investigated? How can anyone disregard the fact that this third building fell on it's own accord? What the heck is going on? This sounds like major incompetence. What are the names of the scientists who investigated this third building? Where is all the outrage this fact should elicit? I just read this fact that a third building neatly demolished itself, all by itself with no help? It does not take a learned man to see that there is a great injustice here. I want to know the names of the investigators who investigated this third collapse. You mean to tell me that there is no logical explanation for the collapse? On the day of the attacks, I did not understand why the twin towers completely collapsed. No explanation given by the U.S. government is satisfactory to me. The collapse of building 7 is particularly disturbing, as it fell quickly and appeared to have been demolished. After viewing other building demolitions, it is my opinion that explosives were used to destroy the said buildings.

Civil Engineer involved in the design and construction of turn key industrial plants and commercial centers for the Dominion Bridge Company.
The airplanes slammed into the buildings and these structures were capable of absorbing this kinetic energy without falling. It is only after nearly an hour of fire on the top floors that the buildings went into free fall. This seems impossible for the structure beneath the fire was cold and had it's structural strength and should not have collapsed.

Growing up as a child of an architect I have been the constant critical observer. Throughout my education at Cornell I studied the psychological and physiological effects of the environment on people. This was 'Below the surface' the things that are harder to make assumptions about. Going on to my Masters of Architecture, at Rensselaer, the physical realities of how spaces are formed became the balance to my undergrad. I now work daily on complex environments, primarily hospitals, and the balance between technology, user-needs, advances in patient care, and the utmost concern about security, life-safety, and infection control.
9/11 I was at Cornell, and will never forget the terror of watching the towers fall on television. Nearly everyone on campus knew someone in 'the area' they were extremely concerned about. The event had repercussions beyond personal tragedies and emotional detriment. Throughout my education the event became an example of another facet of architecture, site design, engineering and planning; one that lies somewhere between the reality of preparedness and the architecture of fear. I feel as though any event that so strongly impacts the course of education must be investigated, harnessing the present technology, in order to confirm or debunk assumptions that will be passed on for generations of designers and engineers.

I'm currently working independently as an architectural consultant and work closely with top construction researchers in Korea (ie with professors of graduate schools of architecture and engineering and construction research institutes). Past employment history include working as associate architect for a non-profit architectural firm in Chicago dealing mostly with urban redevelopment of impoverished zones.
I have read and watched many alternative explanations which seems to conflict with US Government's explanation of the collapse of the towers. I question the implosion of the building and how it affected the adjacent towers to implode in a very unlikely way without being a calculated demolition. From my experience with rehabbing burnt semi-high rise building, I have a lot of doubts with the official explanation of the collapse caused by jet-fuel burning of structural steel.
