To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

On observation, it is obvious that all of the columns of Building 7 failed symmetrically, starting with the core of the structure under the penthouse, with the perimeter columns failing a second later. In my opinion this is the work of a controlled demolition that would take months to plan and prepare. If it were possible for some minor furnishings to ignite, they would not reach the necessary temperatures for a sufficiently prolonged period of time to weaken even one fire-protected column. It is unfathomable that ALL of the columns would reach the same point of failure at exactly the same time.

I believe all the official stories about what happened on 9/11, particularly with regard to the collapse of the three buildings, are patently false, evidenced by application of the facts. I am appalled that the all the metal beams and other locations of metal, including molten metal, did not go through thorough metallurgical testing and failure analysis. Plane crashes and other accidents or failure events receive full analysis, with no stone left unturned. Here we have the largest metallurgical disaster/attack in our nation's history and the analysis and investigation has been woefully inept. We may never know fully what happened because much of the evidence was destroyed rather quickly after the event. With what I do know, it appears as if these buildings collapsed with the assistance of timed demolition. A thorough independent official investigation has not happened yet and must happen in order to glean as much truth about this major event as possible. The integrity of our nation depends upon this and the responsibility to our nation's citizens demands it.

The following questions need to be addressed and answered, without the use of explosives, for the official story about 9/11 (as described in the 9/11 Commission Report, the FEMA report, and the NIST report) to be true. 1. The first question deals with the total collapse of World Trade Center Building 7. This 47-story skyscraper was not hit by an aircraft and would have been the tallest building in 33 of our states. Yet, it collapsed into a tidy rubble pile in 6.5 seconds in the exact manner of a controlled demolition at 5:20 PM on September 11, 2001. Please describe or explain a non-explosive scenario for the total collapse of this building that is in agreement with all the evidence known to date. 2. The second question deals with the Twin Towers (World Trade Center Buildings 1 and 2) and the 90,000 tons of metal decking, concrete floors, drywall, office furniture, and missing bodies that were pulverized in mid-air during the total collapse of these buildings. Please describe or explain a non-explosive scenario for the complete pulverization of all of these materials into dust in 10-13 seconds. 3. The third question deals with the free-fall speed of the collapse of all three buildings. Please describe a non-explosive scenario that explains the symmetrical collapse of each of these buildings straight down'through the path of greatest resistance'at an acceleration that is indistinguishable from free-fall acceleration in a vacuum. 4. The fourth question deals with the molten metal that was observed below Ground Zero by many people after the buildings collapsed. Please describe a non-explosive scenario that explains how Ground Zero remained an inferno and how molten metal remained fluid for a least six weeks after the collapse. 5. The fifth question deals with the steel framework in most modern skyscrapers including the Twin Towers and Building 7. This metal framework conducts heat rapidly, distributing it throughout the entire structure, which explains why no steel-framed skyscraper had ever collapsed due to fire prior to 9/11. Please therefore describe or explain how the massive framework of structural steel in the World Trade Center (which had a melting point of 2750 degrees Fahrenheit) could have been fatally weakened by localized jet-fuel fires (which reach a maximum temperature of 1800 degrees Fahrenheit) without the aid of explosives.

I don't believe that the three buildings came down as a result of fires. They were steel buildings, and, from what I have read, jet fuel does not burn hot enough to burn steel. Also, the free-fall of the buildings appear to be that of a controlled demolition, not due to fires. The buildings came down so fast, and without stopping at each floor level, which doesn't seem possible, unless the columns were pulled out, as would have been done to start a controlled demolition.

Using high school physics, it is impossible for buildings of this type to collapse from any type of upper floor damage, in the time taken. Examine the videos, frame by frame, adjusting brightness and contrast, you will see bright flashes throughout the building. Evidence for explosives.

I strongly believe that there is enough evidence to reopen an independent(!) public investigation. I cannot believe that planes can make a building as big as WTC fall. Logically, I don't understand why the building 7 fell without being hit by anything and, most importantly, why is there no report on his collapse. As I know it, every investigation after an accident, like airplane crash, begins with a meticulous identification of the debris for further investigation. I was working out of my home that morning. My wife called me into watch the TV after the first plane hit. I agree with Paul Craig Roberts that speed of collapse is sufficient to make the case. The debunkers claim there was unseen damage to WTC. That does explain speed of collapse or straight down fall.

Grew up on Long Island in Valley Stream, not far from the towers. Was at work when they fell, watched the whole thing on the news and was terrified. Immediately knew that those two planes could not have brought down the towers. Further research on my own proved my hypothesis and I am now a part of the truth movement.
My main concern is the foundational steel found which demonstrated that it had been destroyed by a demolition or a planted explosion. The angled breaks suggest a planted explosive since the foundational steel did not buckle.
