PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

When I found the information about the collapse of the three WTC buildings, I noticed that it is clear that the official account of what caused the collapse does not explain all of the observed behavior of the buildings before, during, and after their collapse. I think that a more rigorous investigation is required into what caused these buildings to collapse, regardless of how uncomfortable some of the information that may uncover may be.

In my former life as an obsessive/compulsive banjo picker, I worked at different jobs to support my music habit, including a few stints in the construction trades. As a union carpenter, I worked on various state-of-the-art steel and concrete structures, including two high rises. Tn the course of gaining this experience, I've seen these materials subjected to diverse stresses and I have an understanding of the energy required to reduce cured concrete to powder and to deform and/or cut steel beams.
Have you ever seen someone break up, say, a section of sidewalk with a sledge hammer? Note that the hammer has a metal head. What would happen if we were instead to affix a piece of the sidewalk itself onto a long handle and use it to try to bust up a bigger section? Common sense and Newton's third law of motion both tell us that this kind of hammer head would itself shatter in the process, and long before the task could be completed. By this basic logic we can see at once that NIST's explanation for the collapse of the Twin Towers is a silly canard. The notion that a small section of a high rise can, in two cases, fall upon the much larger, sturdier sections below and so thoroughly destroy them is a fantasy. That's my argument against NIST's theory: The kinetic energy of the small sections is insufficient to wreak the kind of damage observed. Based on the active thermitic residues that are pervasive in the dust of the towers, logic promotes explosives as the strongest candidate for squaring up the huge deficit in the energy accounts.

The WTC destruction, or better yet, controlled demolition and faking of a terrorist attack is the most blatant crime I can remember in my 50 years of life. I believe that if the truth is to be uncovered, it will be a decisive turning point in the way things work. I really am hoping for a quick resolution to this disgraceful situation so as to: give some sense of justice (if possible) to the victims families and to bring the real criminals to justice, signaling to all others that the days of impunity are over. This will be an hugely important precedent to change the derailed and asphyxiated American justice system.

Every time I see the footage of 911 it is totally implausible that the towers would have collapsed from the jets impact. They simply did not. The collapse occurred significantly later and in a manner consistent with the professional demolition of buildings. It is equally incredible that the plane that hit the Pentagon left no refuge to identify it and that all video evidence has been kept secret. Why all the secrecy? This smack of cover up, a cover up that might explain why we went to war in Iraq and not Saudi Arabia where hijackers were from or why we stopped short in capturing Bin Laden.

Very aware and am sick and tired of seeing greed ruin the world. I feel I am a well balanced mind and can view both sides of the coin before making a decision on what needs to be done in any situation. From the mundane to an all out crisis.
Even if all science is put aside and one uses basic common sense it is clear that what happened to the Twin Towers was not a result of the planes impacting them. Even if both Towers were hit in the exact same place by exact same jets at exact same speeds and with exact same fuel loads, the outcomes would be different. When steel beams fail, the structure shows it visibly by reacting. The first beam to fail, would have caused the structure to tilt toward that beam. Even then, it's doubtful the building would have collapsed. Yet the buildings went from standing, to dust in mere seconds. Without any signs of internal failure. The amount of perfectly focused heat on all the beams simultaneously to have this effect.. is nearly impossible. And the statistics of it happening TWICE in the exact same fashion, are beyond reason. The jet that hit the south Tower hit the outermost third of the Tower's southwest wall. Most of the fuel burned OUTSIDE the building just after impact. The jet didn't even hit the buildings core beams. THAT is supposed to cause the building to disintegrate? Are you kidding me? ANYONE with some common sense and who has never seen this event, can have this explained to them and they will bet against the outcome that happened.

I do not think it is possible for buildings with complex steel infrastructures to fall as quickly as the buildings of the World Trade Center fell on 11 Sept 2001. WTC 7 is especially confounding. There were fires in 7 but it was never hit by a plane. How could the fires destroy the infrastructure of the entire building in the blink of an eye?

I have been following the 9/11 debate since 2003 after hearing a radio interview about possible anomalies within the official story. The subject of Building 7's collapse has been the most intriguing part of the puzzle and NIST's explanation for its collapse appears to defy construction principles if nothing else. I find it perplexing that they suggest a steel building fell to pieces internally whilst its exterior columns and beams collapsed intact. NIST do not explain how this was possible other than to describe the action in a few short sentences of a 130 page document (NCSTAR 1A). The symmetry, lack of initial rotation and free-fall acceleration of the building falling as a single unit is not explained.

Born into the industry, My father was a general contractor. I spent my childhood on a construction site. I worked in the field in every trade excluding electrical and plumbing. I have worked in new construction and renovation and demolition. At the of 26 decided to get a degree in drafting and started working for a local production builder named Admiral Homes. When Admiral sold to Lennar, I was recommended by our V.P. of design for a position with the engineering firm we used on our plans. Hulsberg Engineering was and is still the most reputable firm in Duval county. While I was laid off due to cutbacks (I was the last hire but made it to the 3rd round) I am freelancing work and just completed 2 home designs ( a 4048 and 3030 sq ft).
I was off that day. It was during the time I attended college. I called controlled demolition from the start. I watched from moments before the second plane struck til well after 2 that evening. The 1st hour, I expected the top to fall over and crush everything in its path. I have been to the top of the Towers when I was a kid. I felt the way they swayed and it scared me to death. The guide said it was to accommodate for the wind load. (I grew up around construction workers which did not alleviate my fears. I saw the initial reports of explosions. I saw the report of the van full of Middle Easterners (now known to be Israelis) arrested on the bridge. Every aspect of this theory I watched unfold before my eyes. I waited for reports of bombs parts found in the rubble. They never came.

When the event took place I was practicing Engineering in Malaysia and my immediate response was that the building was destroyed due to explosions I had vast experience in the use of explosives during my long years of construction. When I shared this view with my fellow engineers they did not want to believe it, as far the news was concerned they were brought down by planes crashing into them. I am glad that professionals are seeking the truth, and it is evident from the investigations so far that the buildings were brought down by using explosives. Truth will prevail at the end.

Have since spent two years on a graduate engineering scheme within a large manufacturing company for the oil industry. The scheme is recognised by the institute of mechanical engineers as a flagship scheme for the uk. I am pursuing chartership which I hope to achieve in septemer 2013.
For me there are so many unanswered questions about the physical destruction of the buildings, without even considering motives or politics. Purely based on the video evidence, the uniformity and 'neatness' of the floor-by-floor destruction at freefall speed does not look to me like a building being destroyed by any falling mass or debris from above. Add to that the level of utter devastation of the building and contents and it is even harder to see how fire and gravity alone were enough to cause this outcome. I have yet to read plausible explanations for the molten steel, the squibs, and the girders which were propelled into nearby buildings.

I think what happened the day that the towers fell, the Pentagon was hit, and the plane crashed in that field was the worst day in world history. I hold a degree in computer engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. While my day job is solving problem in the software domain, I apply the scientific principle to problems in all aspects of my life.
A straightforward internet search revealed in 2001 (as it does today) that no steel-framed skyscraper has ever before fallen to fire. Some have burned fiercely for over 28 hours; when the fire burnt itself out, the steel frame was left standing erect. Also, there are no examples in history of a steel-framed building falling into its own footprint without help. An asymmetrical structural failure, as would be caused by a massive collision and/or massive localized structural damage, would have caused the building to collapse first in the area of damage, begin to lean, and then topple towards the side which incurred damage. The loss of life and property adjacent to such a building would have been staggering. Simply put, the fact that the loss of life and property were so low is compelling evidence that the felling of the Twin Towers was a the result of a professional demolitions effort.

I am currently a designer of mechanical building systems, working daily with architects and structural engineers.
I believe there is overwhelming evidence that building 7, along with the twin towers, did not fall due to fire alone. Structurally, with the way and speed the buildings fell this would make no sense. Witnesses at the scene report explosions, as in a controlled demolition.

I do not have technical education in regards to structural integrity and am not even close to an expert in this field. However, the evidence about the way the buildings fell is extremely suspicious to me. I feel these questions need to be asked and answered.
