To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I'm an overhaul and maintenance engineer for hydro generation, with a strong emphasis in power system stability, relay engineering, and controls engineering. I work with a consulting firm conducting power system stability analysis and excitation system design.
The work done by professionals to refute the NIST report is concise and simple. When simulating the power grid, results are never perfect and can be misleading. It is possible to adjust parameters until a desired outcome is achieved. Simulation of grid parameters are obtained from testing of the equipment only. Repeated simulations where parameters are modified to fit desired outcomes is considered dry labbing. The NIST report appears to be based mainly on computer simulation tuned to achieve the desired outcome of a plane and fire collapsing the towers, but it disregards any test results. I have faith in physics, not in the NIST report.

I find it truly astonishing that the professional engineering societies can be so cowed by establishment pressure that there is not a groundswell of protest against the absurd official version of the 9/11 Twin Tower collapses as well as the impossible WTC 7 collapse. Buildings such as the Towers were designed to withstand an airplane flying into them. Towers such as this do not collapse in almost free-fall without being demolished, it is part of the engineered design that the base must be strong enough to hold the weight and stresses from above. Engineers ALWAYS over design - just in case! (In case they are sued!!) No structural engineer with an ounce of integrity could possibly say that the 3 WTC buildings were not demolished in a controlled manner. Regarding WTC7, this was a more conventional type of steel framed building and should not under any circumstances have collapsed due to a fire, even if that fire raged throughout the structure. None of the evidence presented by the authorities makes much sense. It needs to be challenged and tested because if 'cold' fires did contribute to the collapse of these structures the designers are in trouble. It would mean that everything we have designed and built in steel and concrete is fatally flawed. We know this is not the case. The world has been lied to - repeatedly, and if you tell the lie often and loud enough, the ignorant public will believe whatever they are told to believe.

I am a retired bank VP who was in lower Manhattan on 9/11. My bachelor's degree is in modern history and political science and I also have a master's degree in computer science. Both degrees were obtained in the UK which is the country of my birth. I reside with my wife and oldest son in Brooklyn New York.
From my own 30 minute observation of the burning towers, from the south in Battery Park, I noted at the time that the fires were subsiding. The flames were diminished and the smoke was thicker. I left to return to my office on the east side of lower Manhattan on Water Street, believing that I had witnessed the worst of the damage. I did not have sight of the buildings when they collapsed, but have spoken with people who were close to the towers as they collapsed. They all heard explosions as a chain of thuds going off just below the collapsing material at each level.

I have collaborated with a research chemical engineer( P.E. in CA also) and he has worked with NIST reports that positively show that the jet fuel contributed very little to the duration of the fires and that in fact all the fires were very weak in historical perspective. They were oxygen starved as evidenced by the black smoke. If you dig deeper into the NIST reports they confirm that steel temperatures were low. I presented for continuing education credits at the NFPA World Safety Conference in Boston, MA 6/4/2007 My presentation showed that all three WTC collapses have no resemblance to any previous high rise fire, full scale fire tests in the UK involving much higher steel temperatures, or computer simulations using finite element analysis.
