To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

After obtaining my bachelors in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota, I spent 3 years working as a land surveyor in the greater Chicago area. I have worked as a civil engineer in site development for over 20 years. I have an MBA and work as a supervising engineer responsible for civil engineering (grading, drainage, walls, roads, etc.) of new substations for a large public utility.
I have always wondered why the towers didn't topple over at the weakened points where the planes hit them, if they were going to fall at all. If the planes and fires had actually caused the collapse, the buildings would have toppled over, not fallen symmetrically straight down at free fall acceleration.

The Bldg #7 NIST report of thermal expansion initiating a global gravity collapse, is not supported by the video evidence of gravity free fall without resistance of the structural members below, which would inhibit the fall of the structure. Thermite evidence is very strong. Controlled demo is strongly supported, not weakened steel strength due to fires, most of which were diminished. Twin towers have strong evidence of controlled demolition.

I believe the 'Patriot Act', written well in advance of 9/11/01, is the biggest destruction of American liberty. As a state certified professional engineer, I have done considerable forensic work. I do not see one thing in the 9/11 collapse that is in anyway explained by a jet fuel fire. The official explanation defies every relevant scientific principle.

"Unfortunately, the architects of the plan to demolish these buildings were essentially successful. Average people tend to not question official statements, sadly, are generally complacent and don't look into the details or suspect foul play. There is no possible way that a sky scraper could collapse into its own footprint if weakened at a single point in test structure. We would see the remaining structure above the anomaly topple over while most of the building bellow remains standing. Buildings1, 2 and 7 were clearly controlled demolition.
