PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The collapse does not make sense even with the extent of jet fuel brought into the structure by the jet aircraft and the findings of thermite are suspect. I would have re-built all the buildings just as they were before 9/11.

From the elements presented so far, I understand the 2 main hypothesis are: 1) WTC towers' structure's damage by the initial impact, followed by softening of this steel and concrete structure from fire exposure, until the upper building weight crashed the lower weakened structure. Since no other case is known of such equivalent buildings being destroyed by fire, then this explanation only holds if the initial damage was large enough. Are you aware of any evaluation of the energy dissipated by the initial impact, and simulations or computations of how much damage it could have caused? 2) Controlled destruction by coordinated explosions all along the fall path. Although most of what is left of the towers have disappeared, explosives traces are no doubt to be found in what remains.

Having watched the 'attack' on live television at 4:30 in the afternoon in central Europe, what was shown to the rest of the world leaves it clear in my mind why a distaste for Americans has developed the world over. My main fear about 9/11 is the amount of secrecy that enveloped 'ground zero.' By not allowing independent investigators access to the site seems awfully convenient. Another 'convenience' occurred when building 7, holding valuable CIA and DoD information, collapsed as neatly as the Twin Towers without having been directly damaged. The ever-growing list of questions concerning the events that September morning MUST be investigated if we are to accept the fate of a war justified by such an act.

It is preposterous to suppose that the buildings experienced a total collapse due to damage incurred by airplanes or fire on the upper floors of the building.

I have always been careful to focus on my discipline, architecture, and not try to be a structural engineer; however, I understand enough about structural engineering to question the 9/11 Commission's conclusions. I think it is important to review all the evidence and all the theories toward a more comprehensive explanation. 9/11 in itself was a sad day, but the aftermath has been even more tragic. We don't need a witch hunt, but we do need a better understanding of the facts to aid all of us to make prudent decisions for the future of the world.

I'm presently a Senior Principal Design Engineer/Manager with over 24 years of broad industry experience in Product and Design Engineering. My initial year at engineering school exposed me to mechanical as well as civil engineering, although my concentration has been on electronic engineering. I've received over 10 US patents which relate to IC design.
It's my understanding that when a building has been destroyed by fire in the course of a crime, then forensic analysis must legally test for the use of accelerants. I believe NIST did not comply with this requirement and the only rigorous xray analysis of the steel ejected from this crime scene found strong evidence which supported the possibility that thermate was present. NIST's final conspiracy theory that thermal expansion was responsible for the collapse of WTC 7 - a new phenomenon. I also found out today that one of the eyewitnesses to explosive forces emanating from the basement of the Twin Towers, Kenny Johannemann, committed suicide - such testimony I feel was never fully considered by the 9/11 Commission and this evidence is rapidly disappearing, or worse, being swept under the carpet. I would like to see an independent inquiry into the unanswered questions regarding what really happened on 9/11 and full accountability of those who were complicit in the events of that day. I consider diversion of our nation's military to a bogus war in Iraq at the height of our nation's response to this attack with extreme suspicion.

I've always blamed the collapse of WTC7 on Rudy Giuliani's fuel tank exploding in that multi-story tall ground-floor space. But seeing (for the first time) those videos shown in the film accompanying this petition-signing request, I agree that the fall was too orderly--much as was the fall of WTC2 that I actually watched go down--to have been generated by a single internal blast. I was surprised to see how many interior columns there were when the plan drawing was briefly shown.

Simply put: office fires can't melt steel, 'terrorists' who are still alive could not have flown planes into a building, and planes cannot disintegrate on impact. There are too many holes in the story and considering that no proper investigation was ever conducted, the whole event is an epic scandal. Upon witnessing the destruction of all three WTC buildings on TV as it happened, I have remained highly skeptical that an aircraft colliding with the two towers at the height above the ground that it occurred could have caused the two to collapse in the manner observed, and Building 7, not being hit by aircraft, collapsed in a typical manner by which demolished buildings implode.

I concur with the statements in the film made by architects and engineers. Never has 9/11 seemed to me to be anything but planned. And it was very strategic planning which created a distraction or delay for other events. I always wondered how the structures were able to fall straight down as they did without support from explosives like professional demolitions.

I have examined all the evidence from a wealth of highly qualified scientists, engineers, professionals, experts and specialists I could find, and see no grounds for continuing to believe that the events of 9/11 were the result of a terrorist attack on the United States. It is a travesty of international justice and human rights that there has not been a full independent enquiry and full freedom of the press, and yet legislation has still been passed restricting the rights of individuals all over the world as a result of the perceived threat of islamicist terror mongering.

I have been in architecture and construction for over 30 years. My primary experience was with K-12 public school buildings in rural Colorado communities. I am licensed in architecture in Colorado and Arizona and have a general contracting license in Denver, Colorado. Currently I work with a local developer on multiple projects.
Having reviewed hours of internet-based testimony regarding 9/11, I conclude the facts just don't add up. I have always been careful to focus on my discipline, architecture, and not try to be a structural engineer; however, I understand enough about structural engineering to question the 9/11 Commission's conclusions. I think it is important to review all the evidence and all the theories toward a more comprehensive explanation. 9/11 in itself was a sad day, but the aftermath has been even more tragic. We don't need a witch hunt, but we do need a better understanding of the facts to aid all of us to make prudent decisions for the future of the world.

I am certain all three towers collapsed with the help of controlled demolition.Much evidence was overlooked, destroyed and ignored by investigators. Not least the live footage from the day which include explosions before the collapses.

I have always had a strange intuitive sense about 9/11: that the official story was not complete. In my research as an intern (striving for licensure), I have watched hours of internet-based testimonies regarding 9/11. In the process, I came across your youtube video ''9/11: Blueprint for Truth-The Architecture of Destruction-114min.'' It simply doesn't make sense that if 9/11 was murder, then why wasn't it clearly investigated like a homicide case?

I'm a senior architect with experience on high rise, healthcare, science and technology, education, and residential projects.
The buildings were demolished. Eye witness accounts, but more importantly my experience and education, indicates the towers were demolished in a precise, controlled manner. There is no greater calling for architects than to protect the health and welfare of building occupants. Denying the truth about 9/11 is contrary to our ethical obligation.
