To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I remember watching the event unfold on TV here in Australia. As shocking as the act itself appeared, when I saw the buildings collapse I was incredulous. Tall modern buildings are designed to withstand far greater impacts than airplanes i.e. earthquakes and hurricanes. There is no way that an airplane could demolish (to the ground) a high-rise building.

The Bldg #7 NIST report of thermal expansion initiating a global gravity collapse, is not supported by the video evidence of gravity free fall without resistance of the structural members below, which would inhibit the fall of the structure. Thermite evidence is very strong. Controlled demo is strongly supported, not weakened steel strength due to fires, most of which were diminished. Twin towers have strong evidence of controlled demolition.

I have 23 years experience as a mechanical engineer. I hold a BS in Civil Engineering and a AAS in HVAC design. I have worked as a consulting engineer, marine engineer, mechanical contractor, waste-water plant operator and building maintenance engineer. My educational background in civil engineering combined with my work experience, mainly in mechanical engineering, has given me a broad background in all aspects of engineering and construction.
I was working for a consulting engineer (Lizardos Engineering, Albertson, NY) at the time of the first bombing of the Towers in 1993. Two of our engineers were in the building at the time of the bombing. They returned to the office unharmed but certainly shaken up and covering in soot. I don't really think anyone needs to be an engineer or physicist to look at the footage and evidence from 9/11 and come up with many questions.The manner in which all three towers fell is not remotely consistent with the official explanation. The official explanation, in fact, is not even remotely consistent with the laws of physics!

The 9/11 Commission report is completely inadequate. It does not even acknowledge the destruction of WTC-7. The NIST reports stop short of explaining the destruction of the twin towers - choosing to attempt to deal with initiation of collapse only. The symmetrical freefall destruction of WTC-7 into its footprint due to 'ordinary office fires' and a single column failure strains credulity beyond its limits. Real investigations by the National Transportation Safety Board, Chemical Safety Board, etc. are thorough and to the highest ethical and professional standards - using all available evidence to arrive at logical science-based conclusions. This type of investigation has yet to occur for the events of 9/11. The current dubious conclusions of the 9/11 investigation require cherry-picked evidence, a secret model that is off limits to peer review, and exclusion of contradictory evidence. The process used was anything but scientific. It is long past due for a truly professional and science-based inquiry into the tragic events of 9/11. We owe it to the victims and the families of those killed on that fateful day.

That's simply not how gravity works. If only one of the WTC building collapsed on 9/11 it would've been considered a miracle on the order of the immaculate conception. For three to collapse on the same day strains credibility to the breaking point.

It was like an atomic demolition; the concrete was turned to dust. The heat signature of molten steel remained until the end of the year, when thermographic photography ceased.

I first become skeptical about the official 9/11 narrative while watching the NOVA episode on the subject with my mentor, engineer E. Thomas Casey - who did the calculations for Frank Lloyd Wright's Guggenheim Museum, among other projects - during which Mr. Casey expressed the depth of his disappointment with this particular piece of misinformation by quietly wiping a tear from his eye and simply saying, 'it is not true.'

The evidence presented is very compelling and completely reasonable as to an explanation for what occurred that day. I agree that a fire could never be hot enough to melt the steel as suggested by federal authorities. A 40,000 ton steel structure cannot fall as this one did in a freefall condition.

It is my continuing belief that the events of 9/11/01 were a carefully planned and executed operation by parties other than those officially designated as responsible. The claim that the destruction of the Twin Towers and Bldg 7 was caused by the crash of two jetliners, as directed by a small handful of zealots is, and has always been ludicrous. I grew up north of Boston MA. Received my B Arch from the University of Oregon in 1990. I passed the MA license exam at my first sitting in 1993 and have been working as an architect since. I have always described myself as a technical architect specializing in complex facilities such as laboratories, medical buildings, and data centers. For the past six and half years I have been working as a building envelope consultant predominantly for corporate and institutional clients in eastern MA and New England.
Based on information of which I have recently been made aware, I believe the official report that was issued concerning the destruction of the world trade center towers was orchestrated to conceal the truth about the events that occurred on that infamous day.
