PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Also, have done some engineering work, including building-forensic, some steel frame but mostly concrete. Was employed at Einhorn Yaffee Prescott for a while in Albany, NY and got to see the WTC first hand. Studied WTC's design, structure and construction at university. It was always a fascinating building complex to me.
Very hard to understand the 'complete' lack of concrete rubble in the debris field. Even had the basements filled with concrete topping slab debis. There should have been a stack of jumbled building elements about 9 more stories above grade. The core columns were fully welded yet none were longer than 40 ft (max trucking length). This event as portrayed by the NIST Report totally messes with my understanding of how buildings behave. I haven't been able to reconcile the promoted theory of collapse with the way I know buildings to behave.

I am a LEED AP, a member of the American Institute of Architects, a member of Construction Specifications Institute and the International Code Council. When I first witnessed the collapse of the world trade center buildings, during September 11, I could not believe this was the result of the airplane collisions, but as the media coverage continued and the story of the collapse was explained I somewhat accepted the explanation and continued on with my life without giving much more thought to the explanation. I saw the Blueprint for Truth on PBS and it revived my desire to review my thoughts on the events of 9/11. I started also doing additional research and readings into the events of September 11 and I am convinced a new investigation needs to be conducted to reveal the actual reason for the collapse of the buildings on September 11, 2001.

I have been designing power systems and components for 25 years at various divisions of Lockheed Martin. I was responsible for the design and development of switching power supplies for satellite communication and space shuttle systems at Astro-Space Division in Princeton NJ. I performed detailed design and analysis of high-density DC-to-DC converters. I was involved in all aspects of power converter design including part selection, control loop theory, magnetic design, PSPICE analysis, thermal management and EMI suppression to meet MIL-461. I advanced to a technical lead position at Naval Electronics and Surveillance Systems Division in Moorestown, NJ to design power systems for AEGIS shipboard radars. There I defined system architectures to achieve high performance at low cost. I also designed energy storage components to support pulse loads and power distribution configurations for high reliability. I transferred to Missiles and Fire Control in Orlando, FL to develop new high-density energy storage capacitors. The pile of rubble left by the twisted, melted structure was more than half as tall as when the structure stood when in tact. - - - - I have also witnessed the planned implosion of four or more high-rise buildings. - - - - I believe it is very possible that there was much more to the demise of Towers 1 and 2 than just the impact of jets and the power of the fuel they contained. Reasons for the collapse of Tower 7 has remained to me unsatisfactorily explained in the media coverage for the events of 9-11-01. - - - - I am deeply concerned that scientific calculations, debris material sampling and analysis have not been given a fair platform in which the causes of the three Trade Center building collapses on 9-11-01 would be clarified and given fair media and grounds for understanding and justice.

Disciplines that required my constant awareness are design integrity, manufacturing defects, environmental exposure, life limiting factors, etc.
I was acutely aware of Engineering Cost Analysis and Life Cycle Cost Analysis, with many post graduate courses in these disciplines. My career was heavily biased toward statistical analysis and Warranty Cost Forecasting, requiring me to consider all possibilities, emphasizing the likelihood that the less likely events should be considered less heavily. Perhaps, this is why I was extremely reluctant to even consider the possibility that 9/11 could have been a staged event. What is the chance that our own government could pull that off and get away with it? I pondered. When I was confronted with the facts, and I considered the reality that the temperatures of jet fuel combustion do not support the suggested failure modes posed by the government's official report, I was forced into a paradigm shift. This reality has changed my entire perspective on the groups that I had previously dismissed as emotional, uneducated fools. I was wrong and I am grateful to the 9/11 Truthers for holding me accountable for the Truth! Now, I too am a 9/11 Truther. The facts about the collapse of three WTC buildings on 9/11/2001 just do not support the theory posed by the PBS Report, or the US Government's publication. There must be further explanation to satisfy my hunger for the truth about the horrible realities of the WTC and Pentagon murders. As an engineer, as a patriot, as citizen of the United States of America, I demand that the government which is accountable to its citizens appoint an independent commission to investigate and report on the Truth of 9/11/2001.

No similar steel frame high-rise building in the world has ever collapsed due to fire; steel will only melt at temperatures much higher than those that can be induced in a building fire, even with the addition of jet fuel; the collapse of all three buildings - especially Tower Seven - is virtually identical to an implosion-induced collapse as seen in demolitions; Tower Seven came down at a rate of at or near free-fall, which is - according to all known physical laws - absolutely impossible without the help of demolition type explosives.

There has been enough evidence presented to warrant a thorough investigation. The free fall of WTC 7 on its footprint looks unmistakably like a controlled demolition as does WTC 1 and WTC 2. I've been in the building trades for 28 years. I have hands on experience with concrete and steel and know their characteristics well. Though not an engineer, I do have a degree in physics from Bard College and a Masters of Architecture from San Francisco Institute of Architecture.
You cannot have a building simultaneously show no resistance (free fall speed of collapse) and show massive resistance (pulverizing concrete as WTC falls into itself). A 9th grade physics student could figure that out.

The official explanation of the 3 building collapses fail to address many valid questions that have been asked by many people since Sept. 11, 2001. The NIST and FEMA reports do not explain the collapse of WTC 7. There has been very little mention of the Feb. 1975 fire across 14 stories of the North Tower or of the low thermal conductivity of steel. Much more independent, scientific examination is needed- I'd like to see an instrumented engineering scale model of a WTC Tower complete with model plane impacts that supports the fire collapse theory.

It does not take an expert in physics, engineering or architecture to see that the official collapse theory - promulgated by the mainstream press to the exclusion of any debate - fails to explain the evidence. For example, the official theory fails to uphold basic laws of physics such as conservation of momentum. However, it is heartening and affirming to see that the experts in these fields are stepping up and taking the courageous steps necessary to bring basic evidence and common sense before the public: Concrete cannot explode into fine dust due to fire (How does the top section of WTC 1 begin to disintegrate into dust prior to falling into the stories where the airplane struck?); buildings cannot collapse straight into themselves at near free-fall speed without the use of explosives; all three WTC's exhibited the precise features of controlled demolition; the official theory fails to explain (and even ignores) the amassed evidence of molten metal both during and after the destruction. I highly recommend that anyone new to this area of inquiry begin by simply viewing the video coverage of the WTC7 collapse with their own eyes. Then give the experts at ae911truth a fair hearing.

Mathematically impossible for WTC 1,2 & 7 to have collapsed at near freefall speed. Mathematically impossible for the basements to have been blown out. Mathematically impossible for extremely heavy steel and concrete to have been hurled over400 ft away horizontally and be lodged in other buildings.

I find the government response (destroying the steel, classifying basic information, seizing video tapes, etc.) to be a blatant cover-up, regardless of what happened. I am interested in the physics of the building collapses (explosions), especially the dynamical considerations. When I first saw the buildings collapsing, it did not appear to be related to the planes crashing into the buildings. This was confirmed to me when Building 7 collapsed in a well-controlled fashion. I had seen several casino buildings imploded in Las Vegas, NV when I lived there (1991-98) and Building 7's collapse looked exactly like those.

Applying 2 basic principles, conservation of energy and conservation of momentum, the government explanation quickly unravels. NIST conspicuously ignored these principles in their Reports. NIST also ignored the observed twisting of the top 34 floors of the South Tower before it toppled down. This twisting clearly violates the conservation of both linear and angular momentum unless a large external force (such as an explosion) caused it. Where the massive amounts of energy came from that were needed to cause the complete collapse of the intact parts below for each Tower, when their tops were in virtual free fall, is not answered in NIST's numerous (43) volumes of study. It is physically impossible for a building to fall straight down at near free fall speed unless all it's structural supports give way at exactly the same time which would not happen due to an airplane crashing into it or from the resulting fires. No modern steel structure building in history has collapsed due to fire; every modern steel structure building which has collapsed did so as a result of controlled demolition.

Just the conservation of momentum prevents a collapse at anywhere near freefall speed, not to mention the thousands of TONS of steel framework thats in the way, slowing it down every foot. Absolutely impossible at the speeds observed. And Building 7 is unexplainable without a controlled demolition scenario.
