On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Controlled demolition is the only scientifically plausible explanation of the collapses of the three buildings. The building remained and remains fully intact though 3 crew members and 11 office workkers died. It is impossible for the highly asymmetric damage caused by the second plane hitting WTC 2 to result in the completely symmetrical collapse of that building. The incredibly symmetrical implosion of WTC 7 into its own footprint confirms that controlled demolition was involved. This could only be done well in advance of 9/11/2001, and only with the full knowledge of the security firms in control of the WTC site. It could not have been perpetrated by a ragtag group of desert desperadoes.

My father (m.s. Environmental engineering) inspected high rise construction for fire & life safety, as well as blast companies. He said the jolt theory is implausible and structural fatigue due to fire would not cause the twin towers to completely implode as they did. As he provided oversight of several planned demolitions, he said the only believable and scientifically sound explanation, dubious university analysis and conclusions to the contrary notwithstanding, is that the twin towers and bldg 7 had to be planned demolitions. I believe him.

9.81 m/s^s is free fall. Even simple analysis of WTC7 shows it is in free fall for a decent portion of time. Controlled demolition of that building, and misleading information in the NIST final report leaves enough doubt that an independent investigation is necessary.

The truth of these collapses has been apparent to me from the beginning. Not having actually visited the site until October, 2001, I credit my even earlier (within hours) understanding to the investigative journalism of Jared Israel at emperors-clothes.com. At the time I was an avid reader of Isreal's for his unconventional take on our country's military involvement in Yugoslavia, my mother's parents being ethnic Serbs. If you folks need the services of a crack investigator, may I suggest Mr. Israel. I believe, but am not sure, that he lives in New York City.

I've known, since I was probably in kindergarten, about how buildings collapse and why they collapse, and what they look like when they collapse. I've studied plenty of physics and have an array of physics texts at my residence. I know many civil engineers and I watched the Kingdome being imploded on live television to make way for Safeco Field. There's only one way to pulverize concrete in a manner of seconds, and it's not dropping it using fire and gravity, you need explosives.
I believe that the North Tower is probably the most suspicious collapse because the upper 20 floors could not be held up by the bottom 90, which were completely unscathed. I find that impossible, not difficult, but impossible to believe. It completely violates the laws of physics. How does so many thousands of tons of concrete and steel get pile-driven into the ground, as made a good analogy in the video, like it doesn't even exist--and the even stranger part--it's being pushed down by an invisible force because the upper 20 stories are completely destroyed before the entire building comes down? Not logically or physically possible. Also, WTC7 is easily visibly demolished as the center middle of the building collapses first, as in all controlled demolitions, you need to take out the interior core columns first for the building to fall into itself. Otherwise it falls asymmetrically.

My review of numerous online available videos of the collapse of twin towers and WTC 7 on 9/11 is that they represent a near free fall into its foot print. This feature cannot be explained by pancaking of a building secondary to a push by weight above since it would reach a maximum speed of fall and then persist at that speed.

I doubt that what occurred in New York on 9/11/01 (three times) could ever be repeated as a true result of office fires with or without jet fuel. An entirely open, public investigation must be performed given all of the evidence ignored by the NIST.

There is no logical manner by which any of the buildings, be it 1, 2, or 7, collapsed in the manner they did be it by fire and/or structural damage via commercial airliners. The structural damage caused by the planes, at most, would have resulted in asymmetrical shear in the buildings structure. At most: The result of this would not have been a footprint collapse of the entire structure, rather a dislodging of the section of the building above the damaged section. I liked to explain this by stating: These buildings were built from reinforced concrete and steel, NOT sculptors clay and Popsicle sticks.

Free fall is due to gravitation. In a controlled demolition, a building is sequentially segmented into pieces, which then can free fall on top of each other. Timing of a collapse as well as trajectory, as visible on ample video material, are strong indications that controlled demolition was indeed used in the event of 9/11.

I'm studying for my second bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and my master's in experimental physics and so I think I have enough technical background to form a scientifically sound opinion on the events of 9/11.
It is physically impossible for the Twin Towers and WTC 7 to have collapsed at near free-fall acceleration without the aid of a source of extra energy, such as that from explosives. In addition, the damage to the Pentagon was too small to have been made by a Boeing 757.

Not only WTC7's, but also WTC1 and WTC2's collapses need to be honestly investigated. 1. Fires at similar skyscrapers in other countries did not lead to the collapses of the 9/11 styles at free fall speed. 2. Even if we concede that WTC1-2 fire did cause the steel support structure to weaken at 80-90 floors, the weight of the upper part of the building could not cause the collapse as the 0-80-floor part had always stood enduring the weight of the upper part. The hypothetic weakening could only occur gradually, and the upper part would have fallen off the building without causing the whole building to collapse.

I am skeptical of the commonly accepted belief that the 3 towers collapsed only due to fire. The theory that each building (especially tower 7) was demolished using explosives seems feasible.

My background is in physics. I have a thorough understanding of the physical laws governing motion and what is and is not possible.
There are only two possible explanations for how the towers fell on 9/11. 1) Explosives were used to remove the support structure. 2) The laws of physics ceased to apply within the buildings on that day. Since number 2 is impossible, that leaves 1 as the only explanation.
