On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

From the moment I saw the towers fall I could not believe that the impact from a plane could cause those towers to fall straight down as they did. Being involved in the metal fabrication industry it was impossible for those towers to free fall as they did with little to no resistance. It was a perfect demolition job and not a result of pancaking floors - the building fell straight down as if the structural steel frame holding it all together was completely compromised. I am shocked that it has taken this long for the truth of what actually happened to begin to surface.

Until recently I didn't question the government/media explanation for the collapse of the Twin Towers. I believe I may have heard in passing about the collapse of WTC 7, but probably dismissed it as being the result of damage from the collapse of the Twin Towers or something associated with some conspiracy theory. After taking a closer look at some of the evidence, it's clear that the official theory of gravity collapses caused by airplane impacts and fires in the three buildings on 9/11 is inconsistent with the physical laws of the universe and the properties of the materials in the three buildings and the airplanes. It's also clear that the government's investigations were inadequate.

In view of the pervasive reluctance of officials to release critical evidence, the numerous scientific and engineering anomalies and research results regarding the event, an unbiased investigation is imperative. Anomalies include: uncharacteristic free-fall collapse of buildings, hit or not hit by planes, complete destruction of buildings specifically designed to take impact of large airliners, never-before seen collapse of steel-frame buildings due to fire, persistent molten iron well beyond the temperature of burning fuel, projection of massive debris far from the towers, upward ejection of debris, complete pulverization of concrete and, it appears, even steel, evidence of thermate in dust plus the quick removal of twisted, severed steel columns from crime site. These are professional technical assessment issues specific to WTC 1,2&7. There are a multitude of other anomalies, and a chain of suspicious behaviors and subsequent hasty legal and foreign policy activities with suspicious basis, all which strip validity from all the ad-hominem attack arguments and scientifically untenable studies which have sought to discredit anyone honestly skeptical. Truth and reconciliation came to south Africa. In the land of the free and home of the brave, justice can and must be carried out. If the government story holds water, those who advocate it would only be vindicated and so no objection is reasonable.

To me, the evidence shown by Richard Gage in the DVD titled 9/11: Blueprint for Truth clearly shows that the public was not given the real story behind why those buildings collapsed. You just can't ignore the evidence of molten steel, pulverized concrete, U shaped steel I-beams with no stress fractures, and signs of explosions (squibs) 40 stories below the collapsing rubble. The list of unanswered technical questions surrounding this tragedy is just too long to be ignored.

I received a BS in Civil Engineering from a four year accredited university in 1986. I became a licensed Civil Engineer in the State of California in 1991. I have worked in several fields of civil engineering including structural design.
The Official story does not appear to be supported by the evidence. It would appear much more likely that demolition brought down the twin towers and building 7 than the burning jet fuel. The fact that the floors and columns came down so fast and in the same footprint along with the chemical analysis of the molten metal indicate the buildings were very likely brought down by controlled demolition. A through investigation by independent engineers, architects, and explosives experts is necessary for the truth to be known about what actually happened on 9/11/2001.

It is clear that the official 9/11 report was incorrect in its judgment of the collapse of the Twin Towers (WTC1 and 2) in that they fell at almost free fall velocity with no evident resistance to collapse, fell symetyrically and with no residue of the center core columns remaining. The collapse of WTC7 later that day in exactly the same manner is not explained in the official 9/11 report. It is a matter of utmost urgency that this investigation be re-opened in the light of evidence that was excluded from the official report, including eyewitness statements of explosions in the Towers and analysis of debris.

I am foreigner PhD student at the Heidelberg University, Germany. And I do my PhD in the computational cosmology in Theoretical Astrophysics Group at the Heidelberg Institute of Theoretical Studies. In particular, I do the galaxy simulations and the simulations of the large scale structure formation. I got my Master degree from Abay University, Kazakhstan in 2006. I am 29 years old. Married.
It is not gravitational collapse caused only by the plane impacts and fire. Because the planes did not hit the core columns and there is no plausible way how the vertical core columns could be broken in the same moment of time because of office fire. As physicist I know that there is no way how the potential energy of the building 7 could be fully converted to the kinetic energy in the presence of a friction force like the force from the structural elements. It is only possible if all load-bearing elements were simultaneously destructed. There are no evidences and reasons how the office fire can do it synchronously. An additional reason which is really able to do this has to be involved in consideration. Since no official investigations of this third reason have been done, the new investigation is required. I personally support the guess that it could be the directed and synchronized explosions and cross-section cuts by thermite similar to the industrial controlled demolitions.

I was at RPI as a freshman (with junior status) in fall 2001. I went there on partial scholarship due to my mastery of AP physics and calculus. i have the SAT 2 scores to prove it: 800 physics/chem/math 5/5 AP physics C, AP Calc BC, AP Chem. I came home shortly after these tragic events.
Given my knowledge of physics, the government sponsored story of 9-11 is hogwash. I demand a criminal investigation into anyone who took government money to produce that report and call it scientific. A middle school science team could have produced better at I suspect .001% of the cost. First of all it's a textbook controlled demolition, the signs of nanothermite were clearly there and the evidence was eliminated ASAP. Also, there are EYE WITNESS accounts and even public photos that show the plane was not AA. It had an undercarriage. Did the terrorists attach a bomb to the plane with their box cutters? The smoke blinded the public from the obvious free-fall demolition of those two buildings.

I am a high school student. The reason I am joining this petition is because of the inconclusive evidence provided by the 9/11 commission report. As a student currently taking physics class, one doesn't have to be an engineer to understand that the official report's explanations are contradicting basic physics.
The thing that irks me the most is the government's unwillingness to conduct a proper investigation into one of the most important events in American history. The WTC 7 collapse had many signs of a controlled demolition. Silverstein's explanation for his famous pull-it quote was completely absurd. Material made of steel and concrete fused together was also found at the site of the events. Thermite, a chemical used to create fires at more intense heat, is the only explanation for this phenomenon. The bottom line is, there are too many unanswered questions that surround 9/11. We need a new investigation, especially for the families of the victims.

I served 2 years in the army signal corps. I attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana for 5 years. I spent 33 years combined as a product design engineer in electronic organs and in gas and electric ranges.
I could not believe my eyes when I saw the buildings collapse but lacked the technical expertise to see through the smoke screen of the official report on the cause. However, I truly believe there should be an independent investigation into this criminal act and those found to be involved should be tried in a court which has no conflict of interest in the case.

I'm a US citizen from Florida. I graduated University of Miami with a bachelor of science. I am currently attending medical school at AUC. I have no expertise in engineering. However, I do have an understanding of college level physics and I do not support the information NIST has provided as evidence.
It is very clear that the building was destroyed via a demolition. Buildings 1, 2, and 7 were in near free fall. This would be nearly impossible if the buildings were not demolished. Building 7 also seems to have imploded onto itself, another example of demolition.

Without a doubt, building 7 is the smoking gun. Furthermore, when you look at every available energy source at play - the kinetic energy of the plane, the chemical energy of the fuel, the chemical energy of the contents of the offices - it simply does not add up to even conservative estimates of what has been captured on film.

I have heard numerous reports on how the plane was not a commercial plane. I have seen comparisons of footage, in which there appeared to be contradictory information: the one plane went steeply downwards, and the other one (representing the same plane crashing on the same building) went a horizontal path. I also suspect explosives were used.

From a purely scientific perspective, nothing about the Towers' collapse makes sense to me. Add that to the traces of highly sophisticated nanothermitic particles in the dust, the strength of a steel framed building, and the subsequent wars being carried out by the US as a result of these lies, and there's a very serious problem brewing.
