On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

' As a former fighter pilot, I regard the failure to intercept the first airliner on 9/11 prior to impact, as one of the worst derelictions of duty in the history of this nation. We routinely scramble fighters 80 to 100 times every year to intercept 'unknowns,' some even turning out to be flocks of birds or radar ghosts. An alert interceptor from FLORIDA could possibly have arrived in time to intercept the first airliner. I'm sure it would have broken the pilot's heart to shoot down an airplane full of people: the inevitability of its flightpath makes the math simple: they were going to die, drop them somewhere that minimizes additional deaths on the ground. An airliner switching off its transponder squawk, turning 180 degrees off course and failing to respond to radio calls, sets off alarms across the entire Eastern seaboard. Don't try to feed me the crap the media was spooning out, that Boeing 767's 'disappeared' from radar. Civil air traffic control routinely informs pilots of flocks of birds, which show up well on low-tech air traffic control radar even though their squawks lack airspeed and altitude telemetry, and NORAD TRACKS SCREWS DROPPED BY ASTRONAUTS IN SPACE. Failing to intercept an aircraft in these circumstances is equivalent to gunners smoking and joking on the deck of your ship watching kamikazes crash into it. That's just the first impact. Recall that at that moment, there were two or three other aircraft 180 degrees off course with transponders and radios off: CONFIRMED HOSTILES FLYING TOWARDS OUR NATION'S CAPITAL. National defense policies adhered to for decades require enough interceptors sitting strip alert 24 / 7 / 365, within striking distance of the world's most heavily defended target in the most powerful nation on earth, to get most of a *squadron* on station in the time available. And instead, several news crews perform the intercept successfully WITH HELICOPTERS; so we can watch on TV while it happens TWO MORE TIMES. Next you have two buildings collapsing symmetrically into their own footprints, in defiance of the laws of physics, after taking hits they were specifically designed to withstand. And then a third, that wasn't hit by anything. After that, we watch while for some 200 days firefighters pump water into the steaming wreckage, to cool down exactly what? YOU CAN'T MELT STEEL WITH KEROSENE, right? Black smoke means low-temperature, oxygen-starved combustion, right? Water from fire sprinklers will not extinguish a petroleum fire, fuel spills absent retardant generally burn until all the fuel is gone, right? Why do you suppose the steel scrap recovered from the debris was shipped off to CHINA as quickly as it could be loaded onto trucks and ships, while even routine analyses was FORBIDDEN, if only in the interest of discovering why this steel failed so remarkably--a failure unprecedented in the history of engineering? As a military man you could not look me in the eye and try to tell me that an operation the size of our invasion of Iraq was possible without planning begun more than a YEAR prior to 9/11. I don't give a damn about any 'conspiracy theories,' theories are not relevant to the dereliction, omissions and obviously preplanned fabrications associated with 9/11.

Even the day of the atrocity, I marveled at how each of the buildings came down so cleanly. I was in school at the time, and the shock of what happened had us all aghast. I saw immediately the repercussions. So many more people would die. Our world would be forever changed. What I did not anticipate was the changes that took place in our own country. The 'Patriot' Act. The bloom of the NSA. The creation of the Department of Homeland Security. War was not only brought upon two foreign countries in the name of the dead, it was brought forth on the American people as well. Only for us the assailant was domestic. Make no mistake, it is not an overt war. There are no tanks in our streets. But our privacy is rapidly becoming an impossibility, our freedom is being converted to a system of rights and privileges that can be taken away from us at any time. In the name of all our founders fought and died for, I cannot sit idly by and watch this happen. Physics would not allow those buildings to fall like they did. I felt it twelve years ago watching the events unfold live and I feel it now. We must demand justice for those who have died, both on foreign soil and domestic, as a result of these heinous acts. Let's start with the most glaring anomaly. What brought down Building 7? And once we answer that, what brought down the tallest structures in the city in such a way that they completely collapsed on their own footprint, unbelievably minimizing what should have been horrific collateral damage?

I watched in awe on 9/11. I was shocked to see the symmetrical and precise collapse of the two towers. My doubt was reinforced after I considered the asymmetrical impact of a massive and heavily loaded airliner. Even with the tremendous momentum that had to be absorbed by those collisions, I still felt that the towers should have collapsed in the direction of the impact. In any case, the collapse of the buildings should have been asymmetrical. I began to accept the unfathomable belief that the administration was involved. After seeing the precision with which building 7 collapsed, I was horrified. To top this off I was amazed at the lack of concern that President Bush displayed upon hearing of such massive destruction while visiting the classroom. It was as though he was acknowledging that fact that the 'operation' was underway. I was terrified by my conclusion. It is unbelievable that a group of individuals would have such callous disregard for human life and property that they would pursue such an undertaking.

I began research on 9/11 on 9/12 and have never stopped. The official story is ridiculous in every way. I want JUSTICE for 343 dead brother firemen. They were sent into buildings full of bombs in full knowledge that they would be killed. This is murder most foul. This is a cover up of massive proportions and un-American activities. All THREE buildings fell at or near a frictionless speed. The steel was shattered into short lengths. There was molten Iron and thermate residue in the dust and in the basements. As a fireman I can tell you that this is NOT the way collapses work. NEVER. Someone in the Fire Department hierarchy has some serious explaining to do for allowing all those people into the hot zone without breathing apparatus, especially after the initial rescue operations were accomplished.

I've been to numerous high-rise fires, and if Im supposed to believe that minor fire damage somehow LEVELED!! a 47 story steel structure in a symmetrically perfect manner... Then why the hell would I ever again go into a high-rise fire? My supervisors either need to acknowledge that there is always present the danger of 9/11, that every high rise is at risk of collapsing due to minor fire and then plan defensively, or acknowledge what everyone witnessing the demolition of WTC 7 knows. I practiced architecture for ten years working on varied project sizes from residential to large-scale aviation projects. These projects included varied building systems and complexities including steel structures, fire proofing, etc. One of the final projects I worked in included the design and research with regard to fire stations. I worked closely with fire fighters including training with fire containment and suppression systems. The events of September 11 had a profound affect on my architecture career as I left the profession within 9 months and moved overseas. I currently work as a teacher.
In 2001 - Professionally everything that I witnessed on television did not support what I was being told by the stories on the same television. However, like most, the thoughts to support my intuition were too horrifying to accept. Moving on and suppressing my initial gut reactions proved a defense mechanism for healing. After being told a story repeatedly I just accepted the story as truth. This presentation is eye opening and validates my initial gut feelings; i.e.: how could the steel structure collapse like that, what about fire proofing required for steel structures, why all the dust, why did the building collapse so perfect, and why did both towers collapse when the airplanes collided so differently.

I am a commercial estimator for a large insulation/fireproofing company that has locations throughout the country. I work in the Bay Area of CA. My company is currently working on high-rise steel commercial buildings in San Francisco. Also, I am currently reviewing plans and preparing a insulation/fireproofing proposal for a 14-story building on Folsom St. I am not an architect or an engineer, but I understand full well how the core of these steel high-rise buildings are designed, and why, as I need to be able to locate all structural core columns and beams throughout the building, to submit my proposal to fireproof all of these structural members for 2-3 hour fire ratings.
From what I know and have studied about high-rise buildings and their steel core structural construction; from reading and reviewing many many sets of plans and seeing the finished product of several high-rise buildings my company has fireproofed and knowing what strength and protection fireproofing gives a steel structure from fire; and from watching Zeitgeist and watching How the Towers Fell, I am 100% positive that demolition was used to bring down all 3 buildings.

IMHO it certainly appears that Bldg # 7 (WTC) was a controlled building razing demolition. I'm not an expert, but I've also heard eyewitness accounts of fellow f.f'rs (in the NYFD) regarding 'explosions' and I'm sure that they know of what they speak. And just what did hit the Pentagon - we do need an impartial, complete & new investigation of 9/11/2001.

Although my firefighting experience was mostly wild land, I saw lots of firefighting videos and photos of burning and burnt buildings and have fought a few structural fires. Asymmetrical deformations describe what I saw. I also was in Santa Cruz, CA during the 1989 Loma Prieta quake and saw what collapsed buildings look like. The observations that have been made by 9/11 Truth Movement about the WTC buildings collapses make a lot of sense to me. Outrageous! I wish I knew how to get through to people who don't want to listen or who get offended by the idea that this could only have been an inside job. The implications are very serious. WAKE UP America! Through my years as a Seattle Fire Fighter, I have seen numerous buildings collapse due to fire, earthquake (Nisqually) and demolition (on duty during Kingdome, and downtown high rise demolition). All (except for demolitions) have exhibited numerous warning signs, and all lean then collapse toward the weakened side. I went to NYC after 9/11 and walked through the site and debris. WTC 1,2, & 7 had no similarity to any fire collapse, and every similarity to controlled demolition.

I am a firefighter and have been now for 10 years. I understand building collapses, emergencies (what goes on during and after), operations involved, logistics, rescue and all of the extensive actions that go on within each that have been mentioned.
I do not believe that the trade towers fell because of aircraft collision. I have heard people define the way that the towers fell like a pancake collapse. The buildings did not fall like a pancake collapse. Fire has never caused a steel building to collapse and steel will not melt from the temperatures that jet fuel will produce when ignited. Fires were contained as stated by a FDNY firefighter over the fire dept. radio communications during that time. What in the world can be said about WTC 7 collapsing in on itself when it wasn't even touched by an aircraft! Why were there emergency responses to the trade towers in the lobby and basement area of explosions going off when the planes hadn't even hit the buildings yet?

I was in the US Navy for four years. I served three years on a ship as a trained electrician and rapid response fire fighter.
Part of my shipborn fire fighter training taught me of different classes of fires. Office fires like the ones claimed to have brought about these collapses would be classified as 'Alpha' fires. These fires do not have the possibility of melting steel, which is what the US Navy's warships are made out of. The highest and most dangerous class of fire was classified as class 'Delta' fires. These were the fires that caused metal to melt and were the most dangerous. There is no way to fight these fires other than to dump the cause of them overboard. Class delta fires can only be caused by explosive munitions on ships.

I find it to be completely illogical to believe that a fire fueled by building contents as in WTC 7 or even a fire fueled by jet fuel combined with the amount of structural damage in WTC 1 & 2 to have softened or melted enough supports for the buildings to have collapsed as quickly and completely as they did.

I agree with ae9/11truth. org. There is no way these buildings could have come down that fast and in that manner due to heat from the fires. They look just like controlled demolitions.

It is indeed very curious that the OEM-EOC on the 23rd floor of WTC 7 was abandoned at 09:30 since that facility was supposedly built for exactly such an emergency as 9/11.

I have 23 years experience as a Firefighter. Over that time I have studied building construction as it relates to the fire service and firefighter safety. I do not believe the report from NIST regarding the collapse of WTC 7.
I believe that the evidence shows that WTC 7 did not collapse due to any fire that was in the structure. I do not believe the phony animation produced under the NIST report. Any computer simulation can be manipulated to show whatever the programmer wants to show. There should be an independent peer reviewed investigative study of the building to determine the cause of the collapse.

From the viewpoint of a professional firefighter,I have absorbed every bit of relevant information,from every source possible,since that horrible day on 911. I am firmly convinced, that the world Trade Center buildings did not fall due to structural damage caused by the aircraft or from the relatively minor fires in all three structures. How do isolated pockets of firein one corner of a floor cause over 800 feet of steel perimeter wall to blow out at the same instant? IMPOSSIBLE!!!!
