To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

While I am not in a position to read and personally evaluate every scrap of evidence pertaining to this situation, there are far too many anomalies and unanswered questions for me to accept the party line. I have a B.S. in Civil Engineering, a B.S. in Engineering Physics. My emphasis has been on the seismic retrofit of existing structures for masonry, concrete, and steel buildings.
Buildings with localized damage to vertical structural elements (columns) cannot collapse globally and in a uniform fashion. This is a physical impossibility never once observed prior to 9/11/2001. Steel is a ductile material (it flexes, deforms, stretches, large amounts before fracture). In the case of all three WTC towers, ductile behavior is not observed. We see no large deformations of the columns prior to collapse. Instead, we observe sudden, catastrophic failure. No energy is dissipated through deformation. A free-fall collapse. Impossible in a structure where columns are not hinged (i.e. severed at the floors).

How is it that the buildings fell at free-fall acceleration and straight down, doing virtually no damage to any surrounding buildings (especially building 7, which wasn't even hit by anything)?

There is some doubt that the Trade Center towers could have collapsed without demolition explosives being utilized. What caused the third tower to fall? It might be more reliable to have a non-governmental citizens' investigation convention comprised of experts and participants who are not under the influence of past or current administrations, congress, the pentagon or other agencies, or political lobbies. It might be possible for pro bono legal specialists to initiate and monitor a broader freedom of information act so that additional evidence and facts can be ascertained. Others, including volunteers or paid investigators, journalists, and the media (PBS, C-Span) can play a role. Americans deserve answers to their questions, from reliable sources best able to gather and present the findings.

If well observed in all collapses one can see demolition blasts sequences as the tower come down. Surely they must be thermite charges because they are the only type explosive that could generate the heat for structural steel failure and sequential collapse. Also when one sees the vaporization of human and material remains and the debris pike below glowed at 3000 degrees f with thermite traces, it is obvious it was a black ops operation.

I have been working for the past 9 years as a salesman for a major manufacturer of light and heavy gauge steel framing products and systems.
There is no way those three buildings collapsed from structural steel failure due to fire. A fire of that nature could never reach temperatures hot enough to melt structural steel. Presence of molten metal at the base of all three buildings and visible dripping from one of the towers before collapse is consistent with the use of Termite or Thermate.

I am familiar with steel construction in large plant complexes and I have watched many controlled demolitions. I was convinced when I saw the buildings come down that the planes had nothing to do with the explosive destruction of the twin towers. I was absolutely convinced a few hours later when I watched Building 7 come down. I also heard Mr. Silverstein state that he was involved in the decision to 'pull' the building. I'm in law enforcement and was down on Sept 11th, 2001. I witness the destruction of these Towers and the removal of the steel beams first hand. The government was more concerned with removing the steel first than the men and women.
FEMA stood around looking as though they knew that this was going to happen. Everyone was in shock except for the few government personnel like the FBI, FMA and Homeland Security. They had no reaction on their faces. I want the truth as well knowing I lost friends and co workers.

I grew up in Maryland, and a few of my old friends work for Controlled Demolition, which is based out of Phoenix, Maryland. I had even been to Mark Loizeaux's house, and had worked on television commercials with his cousin, a cameraman. Since my friends worked for them, I had watched a few shows about controlled demolition on the Discovery channel so I could see David, Jimmy, etc. On the morning of 9/11 my girlfriend called me and told me to turn on the television. It was after the first jet, but before the second one. One thing I DISTINCTLY remember is that they said a MISSILE had hit the Pentagon. From watching the Discovery shows, I had become familiar with the expression, into it's own footprint. I don't need to tell you the rest!!! Naive as I (and many of us were) was, I thought that somehow those Muslims must REALLY be smart, because they figured just how to hit them to make them collapse. I NEVER DREAMED that there were people diabolical enough to do what was done. I have GROWN UP since then.

I never was a political person until my first child was born. The whole meaning of life changed for me. Then, being an at home mom, the thing I did most in the little leisure time I had was surf the web. I was searching for things about 9-11, because I had been away from a computer for so long, and I wanted to celebrate the courage of those we lost, and also to learn more-I had a strange sense that there was more to the story. The more I dusted onto the subject on youtube, the more I learned that it was a government plot. I didn't want to believe it at first, but not to would have been a deliberate denial. Like Jesse Ventura says Government is just like the WCW. What I mean by that is its a stage, and it is set up to make you believe that two teams are fighting, hate each others guts, out for the kill..etc. But when the cameras go off, everyone gets along In other words, when the cameras weren't rolling, the Bush admin. and Al Queda pretty much shook hands and called it a day. I have listened to Mr. Gage on Alex Jones, TV news stations, and Coast to Coast and I am convinced that 911 was funded by the CIA and the shadow government, as the evidence points to many inconsistencies in the official 911 commission report. I feel it is my obligation to humanity to expose these criminals, as if they could do that, who knows what's next? I have reviewed the video footage made by two French filmmakers, the Naudet Brothers, while in New York on September 11 making a documentary of the New York Fire Service. The footage shows that, while filming in Canal Street, firemen and crew are distracted by a plane flying low overhead. The camera operator instinctively turns his camera towards the North Tower and, for little more than a second or so, we get a clear view of the plane crashing into the tower. Before the plane strikes it fires a missile that blows a hole in the building's fa'ade. This is the cause of that brief flash. The plane then begins to disappear neatly into this hole, leaving no wing impressions. Just before it disappears however it fires two more missiles from somewhere near its tail. One goes to the left, one to the right (and up a bit) and it is the blast holes from these three separate missiles that form the great gash across the building.

I have studied and looked at every aspect of the collapse. It has left more questions than answers. There was to many indications that more happened that day than we were told.
There are to many holes in the scientific break down involving the collapse. There is video from the U.K. that shows a reporter claiming building 7 had collapsed when you can clearly see it in the background and with a time/date stamp from the network. The residue from the explosive called Thermite found in the dust at the Trade Center site should be enough reason to open a new and independent investigation alone. That and the fact that the 9/11 commission was hand picked by the administration. Also I would like to see an inquiry into the strange construction on vacant floors in the Trade Centers prior to 9/11.

The RAN Corp was commissioned to study the effects of commercial aircraft flying into the Sears Tower in 1995. This fact was only mentioned one time on public airwaves. I installed thirteen TV's in my living room and monitored all news stations for weeks. I walked into the living room, in white shirt and tie and watched Bannfield talking in the dust on the street. Having been a pilot, I knew this was impossible.

The first thing I point out to people who ask me about it is the resistance paradox. The WTC towers' top portions fell through the steel and concrete of the lower portions about as fast as pieces from them were falling through the adjacent air. Assuming a collapse, this would indicate the lower portions provided little more resistance to the tops than air would. Yet the top portions disintegrated while falling, which assuming a collapse would indicate the lower portions offered very high resistance. This is an irresolvable paradox, material cannot simultaneously present high and low resistance. Demolition on the other hand explain both phenomena. There are many aspects of the events which to me indicate demolition. The points presented on this site about both the main towers and WTC7 are excellent.

My life time of using logic wherever it leads and critical thinking enabled me to quickly see 9/11 was a huge government sanctioned lie. It is almost a carbon copy of Pearl Harbor where the US government at the highest levels decided murdering US Citizens was a price that had to be paid to achieve their ends. If you look at the thousands of Strange Coincidences and plug the individual odds into a probability model the chance 9/11 occurred without tacit and active support at the highest levels of government is a decimal point followed by innumerable zeros preceding the one. For example on 9/11 the average loading of a airplane flying to the west coast from the east was about 75%. The four hijacked airplanes were loaded at an average of less than 30% With the flight shot down over Pennsylvania loaded at 20%. The odds on this single 9/11 factor is much less than 1 in 10,000. The official story of 9/11 is a deadly fairy tale. I do not understand how any person with an ounce of critical thinking skills could believe it.

I believe the official story defies my experience. Based on my years of structural experience, and after my study of videos of the collapse of the twin towers and building 7, I believe the events of September 11, 2001 could not have occurred as stated. From videos of the collapse of building 7, the penthouse drops first prior to the collapse, and it can be noted that windows, in a vertical line, near the location of first interior column line are blown out , and reveal smoke from those explosions. This occurs in a vertical line in symmetrical fashion an equal distance in toward the center of the building from each end. When compared to controlled demolitions, one can see the similarities.

In my former life as an obsessive/compulsive banjo picker, I worked at different jobs to support my music habit, including a few stints in the construction trades. As a union carpenter, I worked on various state-of-the-art steel and concrete structures, including two high rises. Tn the course of gaining this experience, I've seen these materials subjected to diverse stresses and I have an understanding of the energy required to reduce cured concrete to powder and to deform and/or cut steel beams.
Have you ever seen someone break up, say, a section of sidewalk with a sledge hammer? Note that the hammer has a metal head. What would happen if we were instead to affix a piece of the sidewalk itself onto a long handle and use it to try to bust up a bigger section? Common sense and Newton's third law of motion both tell us that this kind of hammer head would itself shatter in the process, and long before the task could be completed. By this basic logic we can see at once that NIST's explanation for the collapse of the Twin Towers is a silly canard. The notion that a small section of a high rise can, in two cases, fall upon the much larger, sturdier sections below and so thoroughly destroy them is a fantasy. That's my argument against NIST's theory: The kinetic energy of the small sections is insufficient to wreak the kind of damage observed. Based on the active thermitic residues that are pervasive in the dust of the towers, logic promotes explosives as the strongest candidate for squaring up the huge deficit in the energy accounts.

I am college philosophy professor and long time member of 9/11 Truth Seattle. My specialty is the nature of religion, in particular as understood in cognitive terms. So I look at the human brain and the functions religion appears to serve. My conclusion is that religion (generically understood) is the brain's operating system. I did my PhD at Claremont and came to the 9/11 Truth Movement through reading Griffin's New Pearl Harbor. Since I knew him I knew that I had to take the book seriously. Since then I have been active, lectured, help produce events and written on 9/11. I have always been politically active. It is just the profound moral dimension of what 9/11 Truth is about demands a response -- or so I have argued in print. But it is true, I am a 9/11 activist against my will because I feel morally compelled to do something about the monstrous evil imperial America does.
I still can't figure out how any person who gives this any thought at all doesn't see that there big questions and, with investigation, disturbing answers.
