PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

In my view, the vertical collapse of the Twin Towers core structures could only take place because the structures' pillars and the corner pillars in one or more of the lower floors all at once were cut by explosive charges, thereby entering the entire structures above into a free fall, gaining sufficient downward momentum to make the structures below crumble. However, I do find it hard to explain how the core steel-frame structures could disintegrate and why the disintegration happened in the same way in the two towers. To me it seems likely that in an uncontrolled collapse one or both towers would have capsized with even more catastrophic consequences. As regards WTC7, it seems obvious to me that the sudden collapse was controlled, although the videos that I've seen do not show explosions in the lower part of the building. I have not read the official reports explaining the vertical collapse of the three buildings. However, if the civil engineering community cannot deliver a proper peer-reviewed explanation of these collapses, it has a serious professional problem. Explanations of major structural failures has always been essential for progress in the design of safe structures and in the education of civil engineers. Future textbooks on the structural design of steel-frame high-rises must contain factually consistent explanations of the collaps of WTC towers - otherwise we must admit that we do not know the essential properties of such constructions when exposed to impacts and fire. Which is clearly unacceptabel for the professional community.

While a Firefighter and a Paramedic I saw numerous buildings collapse. none were steel frame. I was at the Philadelphia Meridian Fire in 1991. 3 of my fellow Firefighters died in that building. 2 of whom I personally knew. While I did not know the third Firefighter, he was my brother. Saddened to the core by the loss of 3 Firefighters? I cannot imagine losing 343 as did my FDNY brothers did on 9/11. As a former Firefighter I can assure you that no one, not one, of the Firefighters present at the Meridian Building fire thought that building was going to collapse. Falling debris from the engulfed floors was a worry, but not the building coming down. I can also assure you that those FDNY Firefighters didn't ever in their wildest imaginations imagine those towers coming down. Brave men and women, but not kamikazes or suicidal. They knew the buildings were not coming down due to fire. Initial command post was in the lobby of the first tower struck. Obviously they saw the damage in the lobby, but the reason for that could be ascertained later. The job at hand was to rescue people and put out the fire. Some of the brightest and most educated Firefighters set up that command post. They are promoted after written testing and verbal scenario knowledge to Fire Chief. In fact there was one Chief on the 78th floor who radioed that he needed 2 hoselines to put out the fire. That tells me that rescue was no longer needed at his level of the building and it also tells me that the fires were not all that great. That Chief and 342 other Firefighters did not know that they were set up to die. I will admit that when I witnessed the towers collapse on 9/11 (on TV), I was in a funk as to why they collapsed. Believe it or not, I attributed the collapses to how perfectly the Architects planned and constructed those towers. As if the perfect collapse was also their design

I have no technical training in architecture, but it is quite clear to any lay person with a modicum of common sense that the Twin Towers DID NOT fall as a result of any fire. I have reviewed the mountain of information on the subject (which MUST be done by an independent review commission) and it is again quite clear that the 'official story' is just that, 'A STORY'. The orchestrators and perpetrators must be brought to justice.
The available evidence shows, conclusively in my opinion, that the Towers were brought down by some kind of weapon (be it HAARP, or thermo-nuclear or whatever) and not fire. It is also clear that it was 'an inside job' (psyops). The 'official' report by the BBC reporter about Building Seven falling whilst it is clearly still standing behind her is one piece of evidence of this. The whole official story is a pack of lies.

Each and every day I regret having seen the unbelievable horrors that I saw, the enormous sadness that I felt; many times I find myself wishing desperately that I would wake-up and to my relief realize that that surreal day was only a nightmare while I slept, but most regrettably it was not. I know what I heard that morning, explosions, I know what I saw, controlled demolitions, I know there is a truth we are not being told because this truth would destroy the very foundations that we Americans depend on and count on; a truth that would break all our hearts. I have not studied architecture or physics, however, I study criminal justice. In this scientific field, our right as citizens is to have the right to life, liberty, pursuit of happiness. From Long Island. Many of my high school buddies were steel lathers on the the Towers. After seeing the evidence presented on PBS I can draw no other conclusion other than this was a staged event. The 1993 attack on the towers was more in the range of Arab capability. I am a retired NYPD Internal Affairs Detective Investigator. I worked at Ground Zero and at the Fresh Kills landfill and would be glad to assist you in any way possible. I am not convinced that any of the buildings collapsed as a result of aircraft impact, nor the fires that followed. Most of my work experience is in management, marketing, and sales. However I minored in Forensic Science. I have research experience in behavior. Lab experience in Chemistry and criminalistics. My degree mandated statistics and physics as well.
I can go on and on about this all day however my biggest problems with the official story are as follows: Building 7 wasn't hit by a plane and yet came down at free fall acceleration for over 100 feet. The molten steel found days later. The NASA hot spots recorded. The way the Twin Towers came down the path of MOST resistance. The lower floors held the upper floors since the 70's and yet that day the upper floors were able to pulverize the lower floors to a fine dust. The core columns and perimeter columns that were designed to hold 3-5 times the weight were also pulverized...The 9/11 commission doesn't mention the explosions heard and felt by many eyewitnesses. How does a Boeing 757 with a wingspan of 125 feet neatly folded into a hole about 90 feet wide at the pentagon. After watching a very rational, factual and completely thorough investigative documentary on 9/11, I was completely convinced that we were and are still being lied to. I do not agree with the official reports released by investigations so far. The evidence in my humble opinion suggests not collapse by fire, but instead collapse by demolition. I also believe that Larry Silverstein's confession of pulling WTC 7, coupled with his timely terrorist attack insurance purchase 6 weeks prior to 9/11 is ample evidence to take Mr. Silverstein into custody for questioning.

I am certain of the constant efforts of those responsible to cover up their involvement. On Wednesday, Oct. 13th I watched one of those cover up shows on the History Channel. It was called Modern Marvels, and the subtitle was ' Engineering Disasters 13'. It was total BS, and I couldn't believe that this channel, that revealed several unbelievable things that I've seen in the past, could stoop so low that they'd have this crap on their channel. I've worked since the age of 14. My work experience is varied from forestry to civil engineering to Data Processor. I've worked with alcoholics and addicts, both adult and teens. I watched a number of videos and listened to testimony from policemen and fire fighters who described hearing blasts. People inside the lobby described feelings blasts below them and the floor actually rising and moving. Videos showed areas that appeared to be blasts descending down the buildings. Those buildings fell into their own footprint. I've watched videos of buildings that were on fire with more damage than those of the towers and building #7 that did not come down. There were people on the committee that were investigating, that walked away from the investigation because of their doubts of the story fed to us by our government. I watched a video of a reporter stating that building #7 had just come down, but you can clearly see that building in the background. The building didn't come down until approximately 20 minutes later. Appears she had some inside information about the building coming down. I listened to the owner of the building telling whomever to
