PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

This occurrence was not mentioned in the 9/11 report and therefore the report is not useful and does not illuminate what happened on that day. A true investigation needs to follow to know precisely what happened and why explosives were present on each and every floor so that they could fall at free fall speed, as well as why building seven which was not hit by a plane could be destroyed by fire alone.

I witnessed a white line flash (no smoke noticed) around the first tower to fall on 9-11-2001, about mid-height of the tower, on television coverage, in Northborough, MA, where I was working as a structural engineer.I visited one of the towers circa 1996; went to the top of that tower to visitor's viewing area. My 40 some years of structural practice anticipated on 9-11-2001 that each tower would remain erect and, possibly, bend above the impact/fire level. However, to progressively collapse so neatly onto their footprints, from my engineering experiences, could only have been accomplished by professional demo charges; same with WTC7 Building collapse.

I have a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Canada and eleven years of professional experience. Currently I am a senior engineer for a Danish company that makes wind turbine blades. I am part of the Composite Mechanics group that is responsible for determining and documenting the mechanical properties of the materials and substructures that are used in the blades. I am also currently attending a masters level fracture mechanics course at DTU (Danish Technical University) in order to become more specialized within my field. From my understanding of solid mechanics, I don't see how a steel constructed skyscraper can collapse under it's own weight at near free fall speed within it's own footprint. Steel is a ductile material and a space frame construction that is overloaded in compression will bend, buckle and twist, but will remain essentially as one structure. In my opinion, the failure mode observed for the twin towers can only be explained by a series of controlled explosions.

We need to investigate this issue in order to make sure that such a disaster will not happen again. The issue of Building #7 especially has never been fully explained and has been mostly ignored by the media. The few debris from building 1 and 2 wouldn't have been sufficient to cause building #7 to collapse into the ground the way it has. The official explanation that 'somebody' installed a tank of fuel in an office building fail to explain how the collapse would be possible - a fuel tank may cause fire etc. but not a collapse.

I find it extremely difficult to believe the 3 WTC collapse occurred solely from the two aircraft being flown into the twin-tower structures with subsequent explosions! There was far to much concrete and steel support beneath the impact areas for the structures to have failed as they apparently did, without some form of additional intervention.

I have reviewed CNN, CBS, Fox News, videos, and Photos from other sources. In addition, strong believe is that WTC 1, 2, and 7 destructions were the act of demolition events rather than aircraft collision noting the (AOA) angle of attack by each aircraft against WTC 1 and 2. Alloy wings' penetrating numerous steel I-beams is questionable. Engines and landing gear is plausible in causing damage to area directly related to area of impact, But I cannot imagine cutting through the core based on (AOA).

I am very good at science and studied Architecture and no way in the world could fire alone bring down those buildings. Why, energy content is too low to melt or even weaken structural steel at the time frame the buildings went down in. I have read numerous articles on the steel beams being blown outward for a distance of 5 blocks or more. I know that the US Army uses explosives with that sort of force and also I know that there was an agenda by the Project for the New American Century to dupe the public into supporting wars for drugs and oil.
My opinion is that nano super-thermate was used on the tower's cores and when the thermate ignited from the heat created by the impact of the airliners it started cutting the concrete and steel rings around the core thereby weakening the strength of the core and making the building fall in on itself.

It seems to me that there was some type of new weaponry used in the destruction of the WTC Towers. Even by conservative estimates, with the height on those towers, there should of been at least thirty floors of rubble left in their wake. It looked to me like the buildings and the vast majority of their contents were disintegrated into powder and spewed all over those beneath them. Our fallen suffered the undignified burial of being washed down the local sewer system. Whoever was responsible for this needs to answer for it. We need to know who is holding this new gun to our heads. And most of us don't even realize what we most assuredly must have aimed right at us right now. I served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, or police action if you are a congressman. I was an Air Traffic Controller trained by FAA instructors and held a control tower operators license. Having witnessed the events of 9/11/01 as they unfolded I can say without hesitation that the official story does not pass the smell test. Regardless of technical proof or lack there-of, the story offered by officials fails to be acceptable on it's face due to the unbelievability of so many details offer as fact.
I find it totally beyond the pale that the military defense system known as NORAD failed to respond to this event due to incompetence. The notion that billions of dollars of cutting edge technology and an army of dedicated personnel whose sole purpose is to defend the airspace of the United States could have actually been unable to respond to several hijackings as well as consecutive impacts 45 minutes apart is completely preposterous. The only possible explanation for the lack of engagement by NORAD is a deliberate manipulation of the management of this organization at the highest levels.

I am a retired steamfitter (Oregon Lic. # E80-2753) with welding certificates that allowed me to install and service systems on nuclear power plants from Hanford, WA to Oswego, NY. Later, I was a maintenance supervisor in charge of all mechanical and piping systems at a large industrial facility. My responsibilities included operation and maintenance of two large power boilers and all refrigeration and process control systems.
My experience with boiler operations, industrial oven configuration and operations, and combustion systems allow me to share your concern about the energy required to melt steel. The smoke produced by the fires indicates that the fuel to air ratio ( normally about 10 parts air to 1 part fuel) necessary for combustion hot enough to melt steel could not have been possible. And, even if it were, the open environment of a burning building would also make it impossible to concentrate the heat sufficiently. In addition, if the fire protection systems produced full operation of the sprinklers, heat would be dissipated at 970 BTUs per pound of water poured on the fire. This is a significant loss of energy considering the amount of water that modern fire protection systems generate.

The visual inconsistency of a so called collapse of the structures is simply not compatible with official explanations of the clearly intentional demolition of the Trade Center buildings. I have set-up and witnessed many planned demolitions. It is apparent to me that the confined zone of destruction following the collapse of two of the largest structures on the New York skyline, not to mention the obvious planned raising of building 7 out of the blue was the work of master blasters not the result of planes hitting buildings designed to withstand such disaster scenarios. I grew up within a mile of the Yamasaki Architectural firm and had the chance to see what lengths the firm went to engineering and modeling buildings. This event will be shown to have been a great American tragedy. I am already embarrassed.

Why would a building that was hit from the side fall straight down? Why do other building burn for days and this series just collapsed in a frighteningly familiar manner? And most importantly, why was there no investigation of the crime scene??

I am an 84 year old vet of WWll. I was trained to use explosives. The center core steel columns are definitely, in my opinion, sheered by explosives
The visual evidence of the center core columns leave no doubt those were shear charges that brought the buildings down.The outer perimeter columns are broken jaggedly compared to the angled clean cut center core columns. It was a controlled demolition that caused the building to fall within it's own footprint The plumes of smoke are evidence of explosions compared to the billows of smoke from the fire.
