On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Experts explaining the so called collapse of the World Trade Center Buildings were explaining the reasons for the buildings falling immediately following their collapse at freefall speed. The holes alleged to have been from aircraft were not sufficient to bring buildings 1 & 2 down, and the black smoke fires did not appear to be hot enough or fires large enough to sufficiently soften structural steel, and as well, the surviving emergency workers in very many instances reported both only small pockets of fire that could easily be put out as well as flashes and explosions just prior and during the so called collapse. I personally doubt that there were any hijackers on board and of the airliners that were said to have been hijacked. During the Vietnam war it was my job to process and insure proper identity to all deceased that were processed by the US Army Mortuary, DaNang, Vietnam. We occasionally had to handle the deceased that were killed as a result of Aircraft, and at least once that of a large Airliner. The first evidence always needed was a manifest listing all on board. I was at that time assured that the FAA required that all flights had to have the names of all on board, passengers and crew, as a matter of procedure prior to takeoff. I am sure that that requirement is still in effect. Why were the passengers not identified on the flight manifests? It is a very basic and necessary requirement that would be rigidly enforced in a more modern time as today where there is an even more crowded sky than 1968-72.

The theory that the towers came down through office fires is not plausible and incoherent. It does not agree with our knowledge of steel structures. When a scientific theory is rejected by a substantial number of your colleagues, one cannot simply ignore this and pretend to go on as usual. Within the academic world, such an attitude is considered unscientific. Within our post-911 world this attitude is primarily seen as immoral. It is clear that the people want that we stop and account for what has happened. So far, they feel this has not been done. If this is the will of the people, then there ought to be a follow-up. It is indeed a decision between going on and stopping. It is truly a paradox. When we decide to go on as usual our future will come to a halt. Yet, when we stop now and provide an account, a new and certain future will open up that is based on their trust and confidence.

The official explanation in the NIST report violates the laws of physics. It is physically impossible for a building (or anything else) to fall at near-free-fall acceleration and do work (smashing steel and concrete) on the way down. An external energy input (like explosives) is absolutely essential. In addition, for the top of one of the towers to tip about 30 degrees and NOT continue tipping and falling off violates the law of conservation of angular momentum. The symmetrical collapse of building 7 due to highly asymmetrical damage is also unbelievable. We have not yet been told the truth. If the government has nothing to hide, why continue to hide everything? Why not a new and truly independent investigation?

My concern with the explanation of the towers falling from plane impact, which caused the fires, acting as a catalyst for the collapse, is that they had built the towers to withstand a hit from a plane almost exactly like the ones which were used. The other thing that I had came to believe was falsified about that day was Tower 7, specifically, falling for no apparent reason.

I'm a veteran from the US Army Engineer Corps, specializing in carpentry and masonry. I don't have a degree for anything related to skyscrapers, but just having a better understanding of construction materials than your average person is all I need to have in order to clearly see that those buildings did not just collapse into dust because of fire.
It's obvious that a new investigation of this tragedy is warranted and long past due; it should be made completely up of people who are actually American citizens, not dual citizens of any kind. I've seen the rare footage clearly showing the computer-controlled explosions and seen video of eyewitness accounts on that day. I knew all along that three planes had gone down, and that one didn't make it [to it's obvious target], and that, coincidentally, Building 7 (where the headquarters for the CIA, FBI, and others was located, coincidentally) had to be 'pulled' or destroyed because of 'fire'. Yea. Riiigghhht. Rudy Giuliani burying the bulk of the buildings' remains underground is also too much to believe happened. It's time for accountability. No more people in openly secret societies in our government. No more Signing statements, destroying evidence, patriot Acts, SPP, and the gross misuse of the term Government Secrecy are highly likely in-our-face cop outs for the people who are involved in all this mess.

Having been presented the evidence from multiple sources about the collapse of the WTC towers I at least believe the cause of the collapse was not due to the collision of the airplanes. It seems very likely that the collapse of all three towers was due to structural tampering of some sort from within. It even seems possible that planes had nothing to do with the collapse.

I am a proud US military veteran who, like so many other patriotic citizens, was subjectively spoonfed the official story from the mass media and our own government. In the first days, weeks and months following 9/11, I noticed a few strange anomolies, such as the odd damage to the Pentagon, but didn't think much of them at the time. Over the past two years, I have since objectively examined the evidence, applied the laws of physics, and cast aside patriotic bias. I now discount the official story and seek the unbiased truth that an independent investigation would provide.
My opinion on the Tower 1 & 2 collapses is that they were controlled demolitions designed to destroy evidence of the aircraft. I do not believe the planes that hit the buildings were commercial jetliners filled with terrorist hijackers and unsuspecting citizens, but were military planes masquerading as the missing hijacked flights. I also believe that WTC 7 was a planned and controlled demolition, perhaps to destroy the evidence of a 9/11 central command, and most definitely to propogate much of the insurance, financial aspects, and inside-trading anomolies surrounding the 3 WTC building collapses. The concept that three massive steel skyscrapers could instantly collapse as a result of burning jet fuel seems preposterous to me.

First thought was that USAF was in a worse shape in 2001 than SAF in the eighties, but also that your home defense might not be as advanced as your forces abroad... Quite stupid thought, but it comes natural to rationalize in this direction after such a catastrophe. Then I really didn't think much about this, except that the USA obviously used 9/11 as an argument to go for the oil, until last summer (2007). While hiking with friends - architects and landscape architects - I was told about the 9/11 truth-movement and the discussion about whether or not this was an inside job. I told them they were totally out of their minds. But - since I had my first doubts about the USAF - I also got curious, and finally looked at some internet pages. Now - after having seen quite many argument for and against - I think it's absolutely outrageous that anyone could still claim that these building fell naturally, because of the impact and fires. There were 3 different scenarios, but all building fell exactly in the same way as the others. The top of the buildings took the most difficult way down - straight through the remaining body underneath instead of tipping over on one side. Nothing remained standing. And the speed of it all! If American building are constructed in order to fall down as easily as possible instead of withstanding as much as possible - I might not dare to enter another high rise building in the US... Nothing reminds of how buildings fall down after accidents - everything reminds of a professional deconstruction work. Clearly - there is a need for an independent and international investigation - preferably with no US governmental participation!

Anyone with a basic high school introduction to Newtonian physics and a 30 percent open mind who sees the videos of the collapse of the buildings cannot possibly adhere to the official fairy tale of what happened on 9/11. A new, independent and forensic study of the events of that day is mandatory!
