PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I've been suspicious about the WTC destruction since day one, when it was obvious that the buildings collapsed within the free fall time span. I did a few calculations to prove to my own satisfaction that the building collapse could not have been caused by the airplane impact and the burning fuel. As I read AE911 Truth and other websites, as well as books such as those by David Ray Griffin, by 2005 or so I was absolutely convinced that the WTC buildings had been destroyed by controlled demolition methods.

I am not an Architect and not a member of your group, but I have been a member of ny9/11truth, ny9/11t-action and nyccan.org for the past 6 years. I have collected many signatures for the 9/11 Ballot Initiative here in NYC for a new independent investigation of 9/11. Unfortunately our hard work and determination were slighted when the 70 000 signatures were eliminated by the NY City Clerk, thus gagging the voices of 70 000 New Yorkers. I am German born but a naturalized US citizen, traveled all over the world as a PAA in flight purser, retired now, but not retired to do everything in my power to get the truth out about 9/11.
My initial response to the collapse of the towers and building 7 into their footprints was that no building would collapse in this fashion having been hit by a plane. Building 7 in particular was strange, as it was not struck by a plane, and the fires that one could see smoldering and not raging were not enough to bring the building down in such a fashion. For a while I was in denial, but then I heard Dr. David Ray Griffin speak here in NY at a 9/11truth meeting and he convinced me that not all of what our government had been telling us was true. After that I continued reading, especially the scientific data and became an active member in ny9/11truth.

Upon hours and hours of video review and listening to other professionals regarding the 911 events, it is clear to me that the story I have been lead to believe requires further investigation. That is to say, the pancake collapse theory that is being suggested by FEMA & NIST. Revisiting these videos years after, has allowed me to look at these events with a non-emotional point of view. My understanding of the laws of physics, structural dynamics, mechanics of materials, knowledge of explosive devices as well as the energy required to turn concrete into dust, suggest that there were in fact large amounts of high explosive devices used to bring the towers down.

I know some first responders personally, the things they've described seeing with their own eyes aren't possible with jet fuel being the only heat source. You would have as much success melting steel with ice cubes as you would with jet fuel. Then it becomes a question of who do you trust, the first responders who gave and continue to give their lives, or the CIA etc.

I watched the news casts of the impact of the aircraft on the day of the attacks. I wondered at the time what type of steel was in the building and if the structure was sufficiently engineered to withstand such an event. Later as I watched how the first building collapsed I kept thinking This looks like a controlled demolition then when the second building fell in exactly the same way I could not accept that the collapse was caused ONLY by the aircraft and aviation fuel. I know that jet A burns at approximately 1500 to 1600 degrees as I was an airforce pilot during the Vietnam conflict. I could not imagine that the steel in those buildings would be sufficiently weakened by such a fire. After the initial report by the federal investigators was released I could not accept the findings as factual. It was several months later that I saw for the first time the collapse of building 7. This building came down in exactly the same manner as 1 and 2. That was simply too much to be believable. This must be investigated by an independent team of structural engineers, architectural engineers and demolition experts. I would suggest drawing from at least 2 or 3 other countries NOT hostile to America.

As a student at Regis University, I am almost done with a BA in Communications (emphasis on Mediation/ Negotiation), and at the small construction company which I work, I am a Exec. Administrative Assistant and a carpenter, as well. I've been doing this sort of work for the last four years.
The laws of energy, force, physics, and common sense don't agree with the official explanation we were given. A&E offers well-thought out and well-researched theories that explain how these towers fell. To date, my colleagues and I have yet to find the fallacy within A&E's scientific logic. With my prior experiences inside the US military, I find that planning and executing this sort of large-scale demolition to be well within the means of any government or any well-connected organization. History has taught us many things, and the detestable idea that a group of people could perform something like this has been repeated throughout the centuries; as a consequence, with enough examination, these sorts of actions have been proven to occur time and time again. Living in the 'modern' era does not exempt us from the repetition of history.

Architects and Engineers are highly trained professionals in the exhaustively evolved areas of Structural Engineering and Materials Science. Anytime a structure catastrophically fails to perform in the manner designed, there is exhaustive and meticulous examination into it's causes and how to avoid such failures in the future. The WTC collapses necessitate serious engineering flaws in all three structures, or that the collapses too were engineered. These are questions that Materials Science MUST have answered, lest other structures also be built with these same flaws.

This was a very well put together and scientific documentary. I decided to stay at work on 9/11/01 and not go home. Before hearing any personal/official opinions and just watching the footage on T.V, I was skeptical. It was very odd how the buildings came down perfectly. I am a former Army National Guard soldier and a father trying to teach my children the truth and the difference between right and wrong.
I find it very suspicious that the only 3 times in history that a steel framed skyscraper has collapsed due to fire, we found pools of molten metal weeks afterward and that we are supposed to believe that jet fuel caused such a massive amount of heat. I've been on forest fires where scientists estimated that the energy released at the height of the fire-storm was equivalent to a 20 mega-ton bomb going off every two minutes. I don't believe the little bit of jet fuel that exploded in the Trade Centers even came close to that kind of heat. I believe the real scientists, not the gov't.
The plane that hit the second Tower was very close to the edge of the building, similar to an undercut directing the felling of a tree. Why did the Tower collapse straight down, top to bottom. The top should have fallen one direction or another, but not straight down, under the circumstances.

Among the most convincing bits of evidence supporting the controlled demolition hypothesis are the free fall collapse speeds, the evidence of thermite, and the collapse scenario matching known controlled demolitions. I suspect the 1993 al Qaeda attempt to tree-topple one tower prompted the cautionary, necessarily covert installation of the controlled demolition systems to allow vertical collapse should the next al Qaeda tree-topple attempt be successful. This would avoid huge damage to numerous neighboring buildings, holding many thousands of people. Using the system was unnecessary here.

I watched the DVD I have to say with evidence that I have seen with the squibs, proof of shape charges cutting the iron I beams, and the detection of elements to support it that the collapse of the towers was planed by a controlled demolition! I find it troubling that there are obvious melt signatures around some of the steel support columns of both WTC towers- although I realize that when a beam or column fractures under shear loadings the fracture is usually on a 45degree angle such as depicted in numerous photos of these columns, I can think of no mechanism by which they would melt at the point of fracture due to stress alone. Rather, from decades of experience, I would say that the only time I've ever seen anything remotely like the results in those photos is when shaped charges and/or thermite devices have been used.

I have seen videos of the collapse of the twin towers and also of building number seven. The collapse of the buildings looked like demolition jobs. The buildings practically collapsed in their own footprints! Also, how is it possible that building number seven needed to be demolished from collateral damage taken from the towers while buildings closer to the twin towers were hardly damaged?

I started my career as an Aerial Reconnaissance Photographer/Photo Lab Technician and some image interpreting experience. I later became a US Air Force Combat Photographer/Photojournalist. During this time I did assignments throughout the Nellis/Tonopah Range sites which included the real Area 51 and it assets throughout the United States. Numinous R&D projects and assignments involving controlled demolitions, bomb tests, before and after documentations of explosives-delivery devices on structures; aircraft crashed, both real-world, and controlled; static, controlled building demolitions tests, etc, etc, etc. I then retired after the Gulf War in 1991.
From my experience I know without a doubt that aircraft impacts could only have done critical, but survivable damage to the towers--they were built specifically to survive such an impact. The fuel was expended during the initial 15-to-30 minutes after the crashes--you can tell from the bellowing smoke--the flames were not hot enough to melt the superstructure (another design necessity). These buildings were Pulled using controlled, sequential, compound detonations.
