On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The fall of WTC 7 is close to free fall. The building remains do not resemeble remains from fire, but rather collapse from other things. As soon as a person begins to look at 911 using basic physics, analysis of gravity and inspection of remains, it becomes clear that there are questions which are not answered by the offical government report. These questions have now been left unanswered for many years, reducing the ability of a whole society to learn from this occurrence. Engineering is about answering key stakeholder questions, because it enables organizations and society to learn. These questions need transparency and accountability so that we can understand what was successful and what failed. By not answering these questions, we are skipping society's learning and therefore accepting that society is more likely to repeat this failure. Therefore with time, it becomes increasingly important to search for answers.

I have experience operating a 180 ton electric arc furnace melting steel and for the past 10 years working at an oil refinery. So I know what the temperature of steel must be to melt and the temperature at which fuel burns.
It's my opinion that right after those planes hit each tower the jet fuel burnt off (large ball of fire). It's impossible for jet fuel when burning to reach the temperature needed to melt steel. Why was their molten metal days and weeks after this event ? Buildings only free fall into their self's under CONTROLLED conditions. We can go to the bottom of the ocean and find the black boxes and piece a plane together, but they couldn't find one black box from the 9/11 event (PLEASE). What about building #7 no plane hit it...

I served as a junior student apprenticeship with HW Belfast (where the Titanic was built!) At lunch time I sometimes climbed up the old rusting gantries to get a good view of Belfast harbor and to take photographs of the CANBERRA at its fitting-out location. I studied Naval Architecture at the Belfast Technical college and at Poplar Technical College London, England. I worked for one year as a petrochemical piping draughtsman for Procon Great Britain Ltd, an American Company. I joined a small shipyard, on the river Thames, as Assistant to the Yard Manage for W.R. Cunis Limited, producing design drawings and inspection of subbed out work, welding inspection, tolerance inspection, vessel damage inspection, cost estimating, rudder calculations etc. I emigrated to Canada via the EMPRESS OF CANADA JULY 1967 to commence work in BC with Robert Allen LTD. Naval Architect. I worked for the Federal Government for approximately thirteen (13) years as a Marine inspector (TI7) for Transport Canada I have witnessed several vessel fires. One of the fires was on a steel hulled old - retiring- BC Ferry, which, in association with a Lloyds' Surveyor, we verified it safe to travel to Mexico from Vancouver BC. I inspected the damage for Transport Canada. The fire commenced from a welders spark. The spark ignited a large pile of donated clothing that was situated under a hydraulic hose line from a header tank. The header-tank then dumped the oil on the burning clothing. The paint was burned off the bulkhead and part of the deck buckled some-what. Outboard of the damaged area the deck was undamaged and restricted the expansion of the steel. The heated steel had no choice but to buckle, as it was being held captive by the intact cold steel. The fire did not burn holes in the deck or bulkhead!
I live in Canada and feel that if the local Loggers were asked to climb up all trees and cut off each tree at 10 feet intervals commencing at the top, to satisfy a request for 10 ft length of logs, that they would tell the supervisor to go and take a hike! Similarly no TERRORIST would waste, (1.) Time. (2.) Waste Cutting Charges; to bring a tower such as WTC towers #1, #2, #3 vertically down, almost, into its own foot print. To cause maximum damage a terrorist would copy the usual method of logging, i.e. take out the equivalent to a wedge shape out of the bottom of the towers, core steel members, causing them to fall almost intact sideways in the direction that would cause them to strike other buildings and block roads. The presence of Thermite and Nano-thermite has been found in the WTC (World Trade Center) dust. Therefore, explosive and thermal cutting charges were used to bring down the WTC. From high school physics, one may remember the simple demonstration of a transparent glass tube, about six (6) feet long, sealed at each end by a small circular piece of glass. The tube, being about two and a half inches in diameter, and containing three objects, a small coin, a feather, and a small lead ball. The question put to the students being, If I hold this tube vertically so that the feather, lead ball and coin are resting on the bottom and suddenly invert the tube by rotating the tube in such a manner that the three objects remain at the end, by centrifugal force, and stop with the objects in the tube in a vertical upright position, which object will fall and hit the bottom first? Most students will say that the lead ball would hit the bottom first (reason lead is heavy, very dense, has a lot of mass for its size). What actually takes place is that all three objects, feather, coin, and lead ball, strike the bottom end of the tube at the same time. The students are amazed! The teacher then explains that he had omitted to tell them that the air had been removed from the tube Because of lack of air inside the tube (a vacuum having been applied to the inside of the tube) all objects fall at the same speed due to Earths gravity. The demonstration would usually be followed by a story of Sir Isaac Newton and the apple plus more details on gravity. From the available videos of all three WTC towers they fell at near free fall speed i.e. To explain free fall, if you jumped off say tower #7, without a parachute, at the same time as the cutting charges were set off, you would hit the ground at the same time as the top of the tower! 6.5 seconds being the approximate near free fall time. In Dr. Steven Jones paper, there is a photograph of the top of, from memory, WTC tower #2, rotating sideways. Have you ever seen a tree being cut down, falling with rotation sideways? Does the tree suddenly break up into say two foot sections as it rotates? Why then would the top of WCT tower#2 not continue to rotate in one piece until clear of the lower section? You may look at the videos on the internet or youtube and see what took place. Note: ''With the top section of the building removed, loosely hinged, a partial downward force would be applied to one edge of the lower portion of WTC #2. The only fire in the building was caused by an aircraft and by this time all of the fuel had burned up. There was no fire in the lower portion of the building so, with the top of the building removed, the core steel structure would have experienced a reduced load and would not have collapsed without the use of demolition cutting charges. I have attempted to keep my analysis super simple so that your young children can understand what has been written.

Speaking strictly as a layman, it is difficult to dismiss the fact that the buildings collapsed at nearly the free-fall speed of gravity. Been working aircraft since I was 17. 14 years as a U.S. Marine, and the rest of my time in the aerospace industry as quality assurance.
I recently saw a high-rise fire in China on TV. Many folks lost their lives...the building remained standing. I just do not believe 3 steel and concrete buildings (1 built a decade after the other 2) collapsed into their own footprints in neat little piles at near free fall speeds on the same day, at the same place, when no precedent exists for it ever happening to a steel structure. I know the properties of jet fuel, it can't ambiently reach temps to weaken or melt steel unless it's pressurized. People were looking out of the holes the planes caused to the buildings...People cannot survive where a fire gets hot enough to melt steel.

Enlisted in the Navy in August, 1955. I was assigned to the U.S.S Pursuit for two years. I was a highschool dropout and did not qualify for class A schooling as an enlisted man, so I was sent to Bainbridge , Maryland to finish high school and prepare to take the entrance exam. Graduate U.S. Naval Academy, Class of '61. I was commissioned and served for six years as an officer. Worked as a civil draftsman for about 10 years until I passed the test for civil engineering in the state of Florida. I retired at age 62. I was not a structural engineer, but I do not believe that the fires encountered could have caused the collapse of any of the buildings. And I believe that the pentagon was not hit by a passenger jet.

I am a retired Electronic Design Engineer, retired 9/18/2001 in lieu of layoff due to the events of 9/11. My technical experience evolved from USAF Radio Relay Repairman (1956-60); to early integrated circuit development tech; I.C. mfg tech/supervisor'; I.C. product designs (computer peripherals) including Tempest qualified; digital camera design and photogrammetry workstation design; vacuum chamber remote camera enclosure/controller electro-mechanical design, and etc. Most of my technical education was acquired through technical literature in development of state-of-the art industrial products.
The absurdity of the events and their news coverage on the morning of 9/11 told me this destruction was a one-off event designed to achieve some as yet unknown purpose. The lack of consequent air defense reaction to events, and the subsequent controlled collapse of the twin towers, showed this to be well planned and officially/militarily condoned. The events surrounding Building seven's collapse, i.e., the premature news announcement, plus permission given to 'pull' the building, gave cause to then believe the prior Pentagon, flight 93 and family cell phone conversation stories. Bottom line: the purported events were staged, and were subsequently mis-described either by amateurs or professionals under duress. Thank goodness for subsequent professional/technical research and analyses that have since shone a light on telling bits of information.

I was never a conspiracy theorist; however when 9/11 happened as a sworn defender of the Constitution I wanted answers about what exactly happened. My wife gave me a copy of the 9/11 Commission Report for Christmas that year as we were both interested in getting to the bottom of this matter. My interest was sparked because on the day it happened there were many anomalies, such as Bin Ladin denying responsibility, and the inexplicable amount of time it took for air defense to respond. I tried to read the report but it seemed to just go in circles, and avoid any real answers. I was frustrated with it and gave up. Then my friend suggested watching Loose Change. After I saw the many logical and scientific inconsistencies with the official story and the actual events, I became convinced that something was being hidden. I have since watched numerous other documentary media on 9/11 and it is abundantly clear that there is a massive government cover-up going on. So I want answers, and I want the real perpetrators to be held accountable for their actions.

I'm 20 years old, raised around the heart of political row, Washington, DC. A veteran of the US Army and now a recent graduate of Central Texas College. To be able to sit back and give all the American families, both the ones who lost someone close, and those who just take pride in the American way of life. Planning takes a lot of time and strategy, but you can't plan a lie among millions of eyewitnesses about the events. All it takes is someone like me to sit, review, analyze and have the courage to bring out the truth. I believe it all was a controlled demolition, but one of which they couldn't control the full outcome. I worked at the Pentagon and never have I seen a plane come close to the building, even with the airport right across the river. Anyone can see the explosives going off. I just happened to be watching TV that day as the planes hit the Towers. Those buildings started exploding on the lower floors and not where the so called planes hit the buildings. Then, they started falling straight down. I found that it did not make any sense in my mind. Now I know the true story. I found it hard to believe that planes could do this!

Just like when John Kennedy died we should have seen the most exhaustive investigation ever done to determined what exactly had happened, but no real investigation was done. After my military service with the Swiss Army, I moved to the city of Z'rich (Switzerland) at the age of 20. I spent three years in the United States of America (1998 -2001) and four subsequent years in Hanau, Germany, before I settled in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, again. Here, I got married in 2006 shortly after my wife Verena had given birth to our daughter Amanda.
Twin towers: 1) Strong fire did not spread over more than about twenty floors and was starved from oxygen, i.e. not possibly attaining temperatures above 600 'C. Therefore, beams and trusses of steel must have maintained large portions of their standard strength during the hour after the planes had hit the building. 2) The pile of rubble is very condensed and consists primarily of small or very small pieces. Large fractions of the buildings' steel seam to be pulverized. 3) Considerations about the energy necessary for the comminution of the structural elements (both steel and concrete) in connection with the findig that the roof of each building falls nearly at the rate of gravity for over 7 seconds make the collapse as seen nearly impossible without additional energy. 4) Plus: The collapse is too straight, too vertical to be a result of random processes such as the failure of beams or trusses due to the heat of a natural fire. WTC7: 1) No plane, no considerable mechanical damage. 2) Rather contained building fires travelling from floor to floor. The expression ravaging inferno is not tenable. 3) Roof drops at nearly free-fall rate. 4) Larry Silverstein being quoted as saying ...then we decided to pull it... 5) Eye-witness account of Barry Jennings who was captured inside of the building together with Michael D. Hess (who now delivers a version of what happened that contradicts the one of Jennings, but who, as another difference, is still alive an well). 6) Findings of Prof. Niels Harrit that there were tiny particles of thermate in some 9/11 dust specimens. 7) Thermite and thermate are rather incendiaries than explosives. So the use of these kinds of explosives could explain, why there were no 120 dB waves of detonation audible all through Lower Manhattan. 8) WTC was a building that was rather more strongly re-inforced as compared to others. 9) Up to 9/11 2001 no other high-rise building made out of concrete and steel had collapsed due to fire and gravity alone. 10) And certainly none of them would have within its own footprint. So, all in all, the various rationales based on physical laws (e.g. Newton's Law or the First Law of Thermodynamics) that have been brought for A&E Truth for 9/11 are more than convincing. Even the 9/11 Commission, FEMA and NIST, somehow, concede to these strong arguments by their many ommissions and by the facts that they are hiding

I try to prove to myself that I'm wrong, the government was not behind it, but I can't. I know aircraft. What they say happened, did not happen, and the proof is so extreme that I wonder how they're getting away with, or should I say how they got away with it, but then I think about the Reichstag, who shot Kennedy, Tonkin Gulf, Nixon being elected, twice, Bush being elected, twice. It goes on and on.Maybe people are just trying to get through their lives as painlessly as possible, they don't dare (if they have the time) to look into these things. Have I been reading The NY Times too long? If and when this really comes out God help the USA.

I remember the day it happened thinking that was strange how the buildings crumbled in on their own footprint, so effortlessly. I remember hearing that a third building collapsed and thinking why? Hearing we were invading Iraq, and thinking why? Why would Bush and Cheney refuse to testify to the Commission? Virtually nothing about the official legend of what happened on 9/11/01 stands up to serious scrutiny. The rapid, complete and utter destruction of three steel-framed buildings (uniquely due to fire), facade damage on the Pentagon totally irreconcilable with the profile of a 757, a crash site in Pennsylvania with no discernible evidence of a plane crash and that bears virtually no resemblance to previously observed crash sites ... the official explanations of all of these events require suspension of laws of physics and common sense.

After compounding the evidence pertaining to Bldg 7, and the haste made in clearing out the debris of the WTC complex, it is obvious that a more in depth investigation MUST happen.
