PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

For the last 14 years, I have owned and run a structural design consultancy in Edinburgh, UK specializing in steel framed, masonry and timber building designs.
From the outset, watching the collapses on television, it was clear there were very serious questions to be asked about how three robust steel framed buildings collapsed into their own footprints, one of which had not been struck by an aircraft and had been subject to a relatively minor fire. Given the evidence from multiple witnesses regarding explosions in the buildings before and after the planes struck, the stand-down of the US air force, the admission by the owner of the buildings of the decision to demolish Building 7, the immediate removal of structural evidence, the high temperature fires in the basements, the evidence for explosive residues in dust and obvious unwillingness of US authorities to offer a reasoned and full engineering explanation for the collapses. Since 911, the two relevant UK engineering institutions have failed to provide an analysis or to offer advice to structural engineers on progressive collapse and fire protection in steel framed buildings in complete contrast to previous serious building collapses. In my opinion, the official report on the collapses, or any other that I am aware of was entirely inadequate and should be reopened to fully investigate the reasons for these building failures and offer advice and guidance on limiting risk in future, and existing, structures.

The buildings did not simply just grown, roll and break over the edge of the fire line level as would be the natural expectation. There has been much not said about the subterranean explosions heard prior to the buildings falling into their own footprint. WTC7 was far more blatant in that it was imploded. Early (same day) reports from the ground, to clear the area by foreign accent troops that were recorded, played, and never shown again by it's own right show prior knowledge of the planned destruction. Not to mention the obvious way that this building was de-pillared and forced to drop straight down, (where the claims are that 60-some pillars would have had to strategically given way simultaneously). Educated, savvy, and average people raise an eye to the fact that never before, and never since Sep 11 2001, has any concrete and steel building ever fallen due to fire, let alone fire only burning for 1 to 7 hours. CRITICAL THINKING IS NOT A CRIME!!!

I understand that buildings can't fall at free fall speed if some of the gravitational potential energy is used up in blowing out windows, bending columns. Also, it seems to me that a building would tip over rather than fall into its own strongest supports. It seems logical, then, that the buildings were helped. I would be interested in seeing whether the columns from the core were bent and twisted or cut in pieces by the destruction.

It is all a lie, just so the U.S. could go to war. And, I question why all the debris from those three buildings was gathered and placed on boats and shipped out of our country. WHY??? I was a sophomore in high school on Sep. 11, 2001... and like many others, was watching live as this happened. I was ignorant and naive then and in 2002 when I turned 18 on July 30th of that yr I enlisted with The United States Marine Corps. I graduated high school and was trained as a 0311 infantrymen. After I left the Marine Corps, I started to remodel and build homes. My brother was also a Marine with a Combat logistics company based out of camp Pendleton. He is now a local 7 Iron Worker. I became extremely skeptical of our Gov. intentions in Iraq from the beginning. This then turned me over to reason why I was there. I have looked at so many different theories on the Towers from wacko's to actual experts. I don't know exactly what happened, but I do know one column failure did not cause tower 7 to hit free fall.
There are so many words but the ones that come to mind first are Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Bush, murder, treason, greed, mistrust, manipulation, ignorance, and anger! So many men and woman have joined up to protect our country's civilians and their family's rights and civil liberties. Yet since the Wars have begun, we have lost more then I could have ever imagined in my worst nightmare. The NIST report is a joke and any member of construction, especially our country's Iron workers, know that on page 82 (sorry if that is wrong) where it describes that the 13th floor column failing caused the entire collapse of tower 7 in just 6.5 seconds, actually reaching free fall for 100 ft, is absolute bull shit! Sorry for swearing but I'm a sailor and it is. I consider their freedom tower a tremendous feat by our country's Iron workers, but do not even like to look at it. It makes me sick. It does not represent Freedom of any sort. I don't preach to people about Towers 1&2 but I never shut up about WTC 7. If I can get friends and family to believe me on that one, then we can move on from there.

I have viewed and read much documentation about 9/11. I watched in horror in Malabar, Florida with many others that morning at the terrorist act on our country. I was also duped initially with the propaganda campaigns of false information our government was feeding us. I have always had an interest in this event and over the years as information came out from multiple other sources and study have determined that the information we were fed was not complete and was tainted with misinformation. Building 7 really got my attention, along with a video from across the river and the detailed analysis of the sounds and timing. I really believe there were multiple reasons for the buildings to come down, including demolition type charges inside the structure and other explosives.

I was in my father's hospital room when the Towers collapsed and of course was horrified as anyone else. After returning home, I was watching the news, and watching a video of the collapse and the blaring truth hit me, 'this is BS, that was a controlled demolition'. I bought their lie for maybe eight hours. Then the report that one of the terrorists' passport was found among the rubble which solidified my prior thoughts. How could a paper passport, which was inside the plane that exploded in flames, collapsed along with the building where everything else turned to dust? Just don't think so. Proof of thermite, removing all evidence, Building 7, none of it makes sense and points to lies. I pretty much immediately started investigating what I could analyzing photos, movie clips etc. At that time, the Pentagon was obvious to me, because of the hole, the size of the plane, etc. I then bought some 9/11 DVD's and have been looking for someone to get the real 9/11 truth out to the public. I have also watched the AE's for Truth video and the video of the simulated flight patterns of the military and hijacked planes during 9/11.

I saw the live video from a hotel room TV in Cleveland, OH area, on my way to an SBE Board meeting, which was postponed. My wife and I drove to Michigan and visited relatives there for nearly a week following the morning events. I have seen the videos multiple times, and cannot accept the 'official story'.
