PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Ever since I first saw the failure, I felt something was wrong. The pancaking of the slabs as they fell struck me as the kind of failure one might see in a concrete structure building with the columns acting as shear punches at each respective failure. I was amazed when I was informed it was a steel building. Since then, I have learned of the mode of failure of WTC 7 and the temperature of burning jet fuel vs. resistance of steel to such temperatures. Something is just not right.

I have 23 years experience as a mechanical engineer. I hold a BS in Civil Engineering and a AAS in HVAC design. I have worked as a consulting engineer, marine engineer, mechanical contractor, waste-water plant operator and building maintenance engineer. I was working for a consulting engineer (Lizardos Engineering, Albertson, NY) at the time of the first bombing of the Towers in 1993. Two of our engineers were in the building at the time of the bombing. They returned to the office unharmed but certainly shaken up and covering in soot. I don't really think anyone needs to be an engineer or physicist to look at the footage and evidence from 9/11 and come up with many questions.The manner in which all three towers fell is not remotely consistent with the official explanation. The official explanation, in fact, is not even remotely consistent with the laws of physics!

I'm a software engineer, who has worked for a decade on project for the UK's National Air Traffic Control Systems.
Although software engineering is quite far from architecture, I can follow scientific arguments, and have helped with the writing of a number of research papers in which theories were suggested, then tested with experiments and conclusions drawn. So if follows that when taking an impartial analytical look at the evidence given for the 911 collapse, I have to reject the collapse hypothesis in favor of demolition, given the overwhelming number of pointers to wards the use of explosives.

On the morning of 9/11 my sister Martha called me from her apartment on Duane St. in Manhattan (7 blocks from the Trade Center) and told me to turn on the TV. I, of course, almost immediately saw video playback of planes hitting the WTC towers and then of the first of the towers collapsing. In the less than ten seconds it took for the collapse to occur, my mind processed it this way: 'Hey, this is something I've seen before - this is footage of a building being imploded with explosives in such a way that it falls in its own footprint, so it won't damage surrounding structures.' When the collapse was complete, I said on the phone to my sister, 'George Bush.' (in retrospect, it would probably have been more accurate to say 'Dick Cheney.') Later, when I saw live the collapse of the almost undamaged Building 7, my perception of what I was seeing was, of course, only reinforced, and I can only say that nothing has happened since to change my perceptions. I've since become aware of many questions regarding the official account of everything that happened that day, not only in New York, but with the downed plane in Pennsylvania and at the Pentagon (How do the wings of the plane, each carrying a 4 1/2 ton jet engine, leave no mark on the building?).

The fact that the Brown Building (home of the NINETEEN ELEVEN shirtwaist triangle fire) is still standing and the Twin Towers and Building 7 aren't baffles me. The fact that Building 7 was reported collapsed in Europe while it was still standing makes me question my government. The fact that there is no evidence of 150+ ft wingspan impact on the Pentagon baffles me. Are we led to believe the plane was flying without wings?

I attended the University of Houston, majoring in Health & Physical Education. I was drafted into the US Army and after basic training attended Clerk Typist school with permanent duty station at Fort Jackson, SC and one year at USAEUR headquarters in Heidelberg, Germany. Based on observations of my own, the loss of both Twin Towers and the loss of WTC7 could not have been due to structural weakening due to the heat from an aviation fuel fire. There was not enough JP-4 fuel available to heat the building steel enough to cause sufficient weakening. Most of the fuel (Class B fire) burned off in the first several minutes of the conflagration, leaving mostly paper and wood products (Class A fire) to continue burning. Their combustion temperatures are not sufficient to heat structural steel to a sufficient temperature to allow failure under the loads present.

I was in the process of moving on 9/11, but after a week or two I started to question the changes in the news. I just could not buy into the fact that Building 7 could fall on its own. I have always loved to watch controlled demolitions of building, and that is what I saw in the film clips of Building 7. After listening to other professionals and scientists explain a few questions I had, I am convinced that it was all a set up or what some call a false flag event. Completed two years of academic studies at Portland Community College, and Portland State University. Questions remain as to why the U.S. Military was unable to respond to and prevent the 9/11 attacks, and how Building 7 at the World Trade Center complex was destroyed without being struck by an airplane as were the other two buildings.

As a former construction worker who has seen buildings brought down by controlled demolitions, I think I can recognize such an event when I see it. Furthermore, just the odds against three separate buildings all coming down at free fall rates into their own footprints within a matter of hours for any reason other than a controlled demolition are so great as to be a statistical impossibility. If that is an impossibility then the official explanation is not valid.

There is scientific proof that the destruction of the WTC complex was not accurate as the NIST and 9/11 Commission's findings described and as released to the public. The Towers and 7 WTC could not have collapsed due to structural failure as a result of fires. The original forensic investigation was not completed correctly and crucial evidence was disposed of. There simply is no possible way the buildings could have fallen straight down at the free fall speed that they did. Not to mention what happened at the Pentagon and with Flight 93 on that horrific September day in 2001.

I am in agreement with architects and engineers. There is no possible way the NIST investigation explains the destruction of the world trade center towers accurately, and as a citizen of the United States, I demand that the Government which I pay taxes to reopen a professional investigation of the events on 9/11/01.
