PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have built, for example, an 11 story building in Madrid, using concrete (floors -2 to +6) and steel frame (floors +7 to +9) structures. I tend to view conspiracy theory material as a skeptic, and this is how I approached this issue. After reading peer reviewed studies done at Brigham Young University, I began taking the issue seriously. The fact that many other high-rise structures have sustained fires for long durations without structural failure really makes me question how Jet A fuel burned at atmospheric conditions (sustained fires, post-explosion) could possible generate heat necessary to compromise the structural integrity of the steel to result in structural failure. The near free-fall collapse speeds (documented on video) of the buildings doesn't seem possible from a localized structural failure. If there was structural failure as a result of fire and impact, I would expect an asymmetrical failure of the buildings however the buildings almost entirely upon themselves. I would like to see some more research done upon this subject.

I have dedicated my life to the structural separation and functional deconstruction of history and myth in Anthropology, History, and Law. Ever since then, I have been operating as a participant observer in this world.
Although architecture is part of archaeological research, I never formally studied modern architecture or engineering. So I suppose it was mere intuition that I never believed the official story from the first day. No aeroplane crash could possibly knock down two, much less three skyscrapers 'like that'. And that was no aeroplane that crashed into the Pentagon. I used my own eyes and appreciation based on experience.

I believe that all three WTC structures were brought down by controlled demolition. All available evidence supports that conclusion. There should have been a forensic crime scene investigation from 9/11 until concluded, even if it took years to complete. But my shock & disgust continued when President Reagan asked H.W. Bush to be the ""Drug Czar"" & he said he needed ""time to consider such an important position"". He took his time alright, time to get his cocaine cartel buddies to flood this country with their horrible, deadly addicting substance. So as I watched the towers come down I spent many months searching the internet for answers other than those coming from the White House. I soon discovered the ""Limewire"" video in early 2002 & watched the building being imploded with charges of some sort... and my heart literally skipped bests. My first job was in Dulles Airport. I worked in television as a teen in New York. I had close friends who worked in the Pentagon. I've never stopped searching for the truth & I am eternally grateful for AE911 & your tireless work. I do not believe that the pilots did not have the skill to direct hit the buildings and thus there was someone on the inside that set some sort of homing device to assist. The collapse happened so quickly that it could not have been caused by the impact alone. WTC 7's collapse is very troubling and makes no sense. Fire does not bring down a steel skyscraper. That is common sense. Plus, the commission did not touch the issue. Further, where are the black boxes? There is simply no way that the black boxes were not recovered. What do they show?

I have been investigating the events and it was certainly an inside job. I have read many books and seen many films. Black Ops all the way. I was at ground zero on that horrible day. It nags at me every day of my life. I even kept my asbestos covered blue poplin Brooks Brother suit to always remind me of my lost New York friends and family. I am presently disabled unrelated to 9/11. I still practice a little law in the NYC area.
When you look at the video, it looks like a controlled demolition to me. I just would like an independent commission comprised of engineers and scientists to take a hard look as to what really happened. I am not a truther. I just have problems with the official version. It is evident that the official explanation of the events of 9-11 is full of omissions, distortions and non-truths, and is scientifically not plausible. It is high time for a truly independent, criminal investigation with subpoena power, no matter where such an investigation may lead.
