PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have believed from the beginning that this was a controlled demolition just watching it happen. I have been in the building and was familiar with the design by Yamasaki. I worked for architects who were key people in his firm. I knew that the building was supported primarily by the elevator core. Later I heard that men had been doing work in the elevator shafts for many weeks leading up to the disaster. From there, I read a number of articles on who may have been responsible.

I don't know who or what is behind 9/11, but I know with 100% certainty that the official version can't be right. There must have been a blasting (especially WTC7), respectively there must not have been any physical resistance from below, otherwise the free fall of the buildings cannot be explained physically. The facts and the physical connections are so clear that I cannot understand why the media do not investigate this and do not allow any other opinion and dismiss people as conspiracy theorists who want to get to the bottom of it. The truth must come out!

The collapse of Building 7 defies any belief at all, and should never have happened at all without outside interference. There is no point in listing the many other technical reasons that cause me to sign this petition, since the internet is full of reports on valid inconsistencies or omissions in the 9-11 commission report.

Approximately one month to the day of September 11, I found myself pondering the recent news reports indicating the potential negative trends of the economy. Since the reports were vague but consistent, I began to ponder as to how they could be accurate. Using my past experience and knowledge as a former Professional service-member I concluded that for a foreign power to disrupt the national economy or physically threaten the nation. It would have to have the capability of bringing down a skyscraper in a major US city. Which, was technically not possible. The idea that the threat could come from within, was not unthinkable. But, at the time it was easier to imagine that such a scheme and it's perpetrators would be exposed. The day I heard the building was hit, I thought it was quite a coincidence. Less than an hour later, I heard someone in the office saying the build had fallen. I thought, impossible. Throughout the days and weeks that followed. I heard so called official reports that, based on my knowledge were either lies or crimes at the highest levels. For instance, it was reported that NORAD did not respond in time because the pilots were involved in a training exercise and was not sure the messages coming in were real or part of the training exercise. In training exercises one crucial elements is to exclude an element form the training in the event of a actual threat. Another fact is that in communications the training takes place in a network of data transmissions specifically designated for non real world training exercises. Either the NSA policies have changed or the NSA was a part of the event.

Having seen films over the years of building demolitions, I had questions upon first seeing the towers go down on 9/11 - that they should fail solely on the planes' impact/burning fuel made no sense. In voicing my concerns to others, I've been exposed to resources and theories on both sides; logic and the most reasonable data suggest that the buildings were rigged. The truth must be brought into the open and the American public and action taken to prevent the tragedy of a repeat event.

I'm just your typical American searching for answers to the unbelievable and unbearable loss of life in the 9/11 tragedy.
It's important to us as Americans to resolve this question in our minds... maybe some terrorist group was able to get in there and implode this building. We need to know how this was able to be accomplished... as Americans... to keep us safe in the future. If these steel framed buildings collapsed in their own footprints from fire, (in the path of most resistance at nearly free fall speed) that would be a first. And so we need to examine the reasons so that the builders can figure out why so that, for safety reasons, it doesn't happen again. I want to find out the reason for the basic structure collapse resulting in the deaths of so many Americans. If airplanes can cause these massive structures demise, than we need to investigate... for safety reasons.

On 9.11.01 our family was preoccupied with a serious personal matter. That day I did see the video of the North and South WTC towers collapse and spoke to family and neighbors that it was horrific, but in a way it was beautiful too in slow motion the way the buildings fell straight down just like video of buildings imploded by controlled demolition (Las Vegas, Seattle Dome et al.) I found it very strange that the Bush administration fought an official investigation of 9/11 for so long and then underfunded it and set a short time limit. The Columbine schools shooting was funded much more than the 9/11 investigation and also lasted for 5 years. My eyes and mind were opened in 2005 by David Ray Griffin's books, Paul Thompson's 9/11 Timeline and the Center for Co-operative Research. I also support 9/11truth.org.

It is clear now that the World Trade Center buildings were destroyed as a result of controlled demolition. The forensic report released by the Associated Press found 6000 pieces of victim remains small enough to fit in test-tubes. 200 samples were matched to one person. The official story cannot explain these deaths. From a jet fuel fire and a simple collapse one would expect to find charred or squished bodies. Clearly, the victims had to be in close proximity to powerful explosives when they detonated.

The evidence found is enough to re-open the investigation by a un-biased committee. The low credibility of the Weapons of Mass Destruction theory to support the US-Iraq and Afghanistan invasions, the historical precedents of such self inflicted attacks to start the Hispanic-American war (which resulted in the US-Puerto Rico invasion of 1898), and other similar precedents, undermine the terrorist attack theory of 9/11. The government control by unconstitutional cutting of civil rights using the excuse of protective measures against terrorist threads, is a direct result of the official version of the 9/11 attacks, so, when the new evidence emerge, like the demolition and implosion theories, a new investigation must take place.

I remember watching the attacks on the television that day and saying out loud: What has George Bush done now? I was convinced that our government orchestrated the destruction of the Twin Towers for shock and awe. The government is not beyond mass murder and/or fabrication to achieve political ends. After many years as a journalist, writer and editor, I am now a Physican Assistant, providing community-based medical services. Once viewed from a scientific standpoint, the all-too-familiar footage of the buildings' collapse can no longer be seen in the same way. The symmetric fall, explosive clouds of dust and rapid acceleration are patently incompatible with an explanation of mechanical failure following fire damage. Sadly, the American people -- myself included -- have been sleep walking away from an obvious truth. I urge all Americans not to let the words conspiracy theory put them back into the deluded slumber of post-hypnotic programming. I am a mother, grandmother, lawyer, teacher, and writer. I want to know what happened on Sept. 11, 2001, because I am an American who believes that citizens have a right to know.
Since Sept. 11, 2001, I have been concerned about the real cause of the World Trade Center's collapse. I believe that there is a critical need for an independent (apolitical) investigation into the causes of the destruction of these buildings, which appear to be the result of a planned demolition.

My technical experience is not remarkable. I have taken the usual college level introductory courses in chemistry and biology. Took those courses and physics in high school. I have an above average interest in the sciences and an understanding of the basics sufficient to understand that WTC 1 and 2 could not progressively collapse at a free fall rate without the assistance of controlled demolition, that the declaration of the Lessor of WTC complex.
My concerns are too numerous for this space. They include advance profiteering on 911-affected stocks, the apparent incompetence of the alleged pilots, advance warnings not to fly, firefighters reports of very limited fire and of the sequential detonation of explosive charges, the progressive, symmetrical collapse of WTC 1 and 2 at freefall rates, the progressive, symmetrical collapse of WTC7, the declarations of the lessor (owner) of the complex that a decision was made to pull WTC7, flight 93's apparent disappearance into a depression into the ground in Pa. with no significant debris, cell phone calls by passengers where cell phones do not ordinarily operate, the stonewalling of the videos re the Pentagon crash, the inconsistencies between the Pentagon damage and the Pentagon story (i.e. the damage and on-site debris being inconsistent with the story, the concealment of video evidence as to what hit the Pentagon, how the pilots, reported to be incompetent, could have piloted the jet through the complex and challenging maneuvers necessary to hit the Pentagon and do so without scratching the grass, the lack of a core projecting into the sky from the collapse of WTC 1 and 2, the presence of molten metal at the base of WTC 1 and 2 days after the disaster, photographic and sampled evidence of the use of thermite on the buildings, and the spiriting away of the WTC debris without adequate investigation, sampling, etc. under absolute security.

I am a private citizen who has recently become interested in this topic. I'm not a conspiracy theorist but when I listened to the video presentation about this, I was blown away but how much we haven't been told.
I used to believe the official story we were told, but now I don't. The scientific evidence concerning controlled demolition is absolutely overwhelming and I just don't see how or why the average person hasn't heard this information.

Easygoing free thinking atheist without a mean bone in my body. Born in Caldwell Id. and raised in Portland where I also went to school. And I've studied the 9/11 attacks with a very observant,objective, and open minded perspective and I do feel something a lot more than just an attack from desert dwelling cave living Muslims. Well now isn't this interesting the site wants to know how I feel about 9/11, this is a new one for a website you understand, but I'll do my best. I'm not a youngster, I'm 56 so I'm not coming from a point of ignorance or youth. I am frustrated however by the government's handling of the case because I do not feel we know the truth, there are just too many discrepancies and coincidences for it to be as pat as the commission report made it out to be. I know from my own experience and knowledge from reading and such that steel does not melt in an open flame without an accelerator like thermite and thermite induced steel globules were found all over the ground around the WTC. Then I see more and more videos come out that people were afraid to release before or for some reason no one explained them correctly so they didn't seem relevant, who knows why, the point is videos can be found all over the web that show the attacks and there aftermaths and it needs to be peeled back a few more layers...
