PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The collapse of the WTC towers on 9/11 was a remarkable and puzzling event. Several aspects of the collapse have yet to be satisfactorily explained: the collapse was extremely rapid (near free fall); the destruction was nearly symmetrical (in spite of highly asymmetric structural damage); the collapse generated significant explosive upwelling pyroclastic-like clouds of pulverized material. The most widely cited explanation is a Progressive Collapse Theory published by Ba'ant and colleagues. This model however has significant weaknesses. It is 1D (hence ignores the WTC towers' excellent capacity for load redistribution); it is not able to explain the highly symmetrical nature of the collapse; nor can it explain the generation of clouds of pulverized concrete and other anomalous aspects of the collapse. In my opinion the hypothesis of controlled demolition needs to be seriously investigated.

I was in New York City from Sept 12th through Sept 16th in 2001. I distinctly remember the smell of sulfur and the smell of magnesium in the air downtown through those days. I never put it all together on why those smells were present at the time. Watching AE911Truth confirmed for me the reason why I was smelling sulfur and magnesium in the air. A new and in depth non biased investigation needs to be held on why these hard target structures collapsed. The American people deserve to know the truth. I was very traumatized. I later was informed of the propaganda through TV and public discourse. I always felt the blame did not fit, that the attacks by Muslims was incorrect. But just being a gut feeling and busy with life I suppressed these feelings. After the initial report came out my feelings strengthened to action and I investigated more. Looking back I found the basis of my doubts. The buildings collapsed in a way that my mind could not accept. With my knowledge of steel the official story could not be true. Then, seeing the Pentagon damage, I was convinced knowing that a plane cannot crash through walls and have enough velocity to crash through several more walls . I personally do not want to leave this event open for my children to wonder about as was done with the JFK assassination for my generation.

Like many other professionals I'm concerned about the visual evidence of controlled demolition of the three WTC buildings seen on many videos. This concern is reinforced by Niels Harrit et al's recent scientific analysis of the dust from the site finding nano-thermite - an advanced military explosive. It is furthermore reinforced by Hamilton's ignorance of the fact that the collapse of building seven is not mentioned at all in the report from the 9/11 Commission as expressed in a Canadian TV interview. He apparently had not read his own report. What I find especially alarming is the claim put forward by former Vice president Dick Cheney that an even greater similar catastrophe will happen again soon and then with nuclear explosives. This might become a terrible reality if a real investigation is not performed soon and the truth brought to the surface.

The fact that both towers collapsed in their footprints, without any toppling of the upper floors, clearly indicates controlled demolition as the cause of the buildings' collapse, rather than structural failure. In my opinion, the collapse of the south tower (WTC 2) illustrates this idea most clearly. The airplane which hit this tower entered the south wall, and wreckage can be seen in the videos exiting the east wall. As a result, one would expect the damage to be worse near the southeast corner of the building, and any structural collapse should have occurred first at this corner. This should have resulted in the upper floors toppling toward the southeast. However, videos of the building's collapse clearly show it failing in a more or less symmetrical manner. - - - - In contrast, the north tower (WTC 1) was hit by the first airplane in the north wall, at almost a perpendicular angle to the north wall. And yet, the upper floors of this building leaned toward the south as the building collapsed. - - - - Likewise, there are two failure phenomena which cannot be explained by the pancake collapse theory. First, video of the collapse of the north tower shows the upper floors (approx. 10 stories) toppling toward the south. Yet, instead of falling to the ground relatively intact (as they should have done with no structure supporting them from beneath at that point, and nothing pressing down on them from above), they mysteriously disintegrated in mid-air. What forces (other than explosives) could have caused this? - - - - Second, a video exists which shows part of the inner core of the north tower still standing prior to the south tower's collapse. And yet, with only minor debris falling on it from the south tower, the remaining core structure disintegrates. Unless the video is faked (and I have seen no evidence of this), what would have caused the remaining core structure to collapse?

I would rather not fill in too much here but I am actively pushing this issue and this website to everyone I work for etc.. I have found people listen and for the most part agree but are not interested really. I love your website and have read it all including Loose change and Mike Ruppert The Truth & Lies of 9/11 to name but a few.
I feel as do many, controlled demolition is obvious. The path of most resistance was the path taken by each building which shows something sinister. Nano thermate found in the dust including chipping of unused thermite also adds to the evidence. Multiple explosions heard by hundreds of police and firefighters, not to mention the media reporting it on the day, speaks volumes. I find it disgusting that no further investigation has been launched by the government or other officials. Seeing WTC7 fall is the nail in the coffin in my opinion with a Lieutenant stating the building was to be pulled and the explosions of inner columns shows a controlled demolition to which AE911truth says fire does not have this precision. The evidence is exhausting and the official story is quite small but again the media convince the masses. You don't have to convince all of the people all of the time, just some of the people some of the time!! Keep up the campaign, and remember compared to JFK or Pearl Harbor we have the internet at our disposal, the most powerful media device of all. The reach is growing everyday.

It is obvious that the Twin Towers and WTC 7 were brought down by controlled demolition. I am completely convinced that no plane could have hit the Pentagon, either. This is obvious to anyone willing to actually consider the evidence. Additionally, the lack of wreckage at the Pentagon and the slim wreckage in Shanksville, PA comports to a plane crash the way WTC collapses comport to destruction by fire...i.e. not at all.

I have watched controlled demolitions of old Las Vegas hotels'they're perfect. Controlled demolitions are unmistakable as they're the only times building enter perfect free fall. Fuel alone did collapse Building 7 perfectly. Fuel compromising the integrity of WTC Building 7 would have lead the building infrastructure to partially fail if at all.

I have been had a great focus on science my entire life. Aviation has always been my passion, I love, live, and breathe flying.
Just as other have stated, jet fuel can NOT burn hot enough to melt thick steel girders. Furthermore, an impact on the side of a building from a large aircraft that results in the total destruction of that aircraft would result in a disproportionate amount of damage to one side of the building than the other. Therefore if a collapse even COULD occur under these circumstances, the severed top part of the building most certainly would not fall straight down.

On 9/11/01, I was on a medical LOA from United Airlines subsequent to back surgery and watched in shock and horror as the events unfolded. Although I didn't know any of the crews involved, the loss was felt personally and professionally. Over 2100 pilots were furloughed after 9/11,subsequently recalled and over 1500 furloughed again, including myself, from 2003-2009. I was able to reactivate my RN license and work between the furloughs, but haven't been able to find employment since the 2009 furlough.
I believe the facts support controlled demolition including but not limited to: the multiple eyewitness accounts of explosions, the temperature discrepancy between burning jet fuel and steel melting temperature(as a pilot, I can confirm that the engines aren't dripping molten metal after burning jet fuel for thrust after many continuous hours),the pictorial evidence of diagonal cuts in WTC beams that could have been made by shaped cutting charges plus evidence of molten metal(the key proof for me). The clincher for controlled demolition was seeing and hearing Larry Silverstein, the WTC lease holder, say that they had made the decision to PULL building 7. It had to be controlled demo since nothing hit it and the termto pull a building is the industry term FOR controlled demolition. Plus he profitted billions in rare terrorist insurance. Also the towers were built to withstand an impact from a Boeing 707, so they couldn't have fallen from the impact or the burning jet fuel. Process of elimination plus all the other evidence points to controlled demolition, despite the brazen attempts to cover this up.

It's still so surprising to see how galvenized even close friends and relatives are to accepting what they've been told for years on national television as being truth and to even consider another perspective is purely a waste of their time. For common things discussed everyday like what movie is worth seeing in the theater, place to shop or even dentist to see there would be no question they would strongly consider my opinion. But bring up 9/11 and immediately the vibe changes and friends say things like Don't tell me you're one of those Truthers? and that there's no way I'm gonna convince them that something else brought those buildings down. That for me is one of the more insidious aspects of this case. To be silenced by your own People has got to be one of the biggest obstacles anyone can face. I was watching TV when the aircraft flew into the Towers and erupted into flames. When the Towers collapsed I was in disbelief and have always doubted the story being told that the Towers came down from their own weight. I liken it to someone starting a fire in a candle that resembles the Towers. The flame would not spread down the candle but would continue to burn the material above it. Even if the portion of the candle fell down onto itself it would not take the candle down to its base. The structure of the candle is similar to the Towers except that the main columns of buildings are designed to support even more weight than the total weight of the building.

I have been involved with engineering for over 40 years and have held senior posts for three major consultancies in power generation and oil and gas.
There are many unanswered questions and too many to state here, but the most glaring is the free fall way in which the towers fell. Each approximately 9.2 seconds confirming just that free fall and almost perfectly matches Galileo's law of falling bodies given the height of each tower.

I'm in my mid-20's and attended Ohio University where I studied Aviation (Flight Option). Currently I am awaiting my multi-engine rating to complete my bachelors. Aviation fuel, in particular jet fuel, will only burn when in certain states. I believe any scholar within the field/industry would concur that the fuel from the aircraft striking the Towers would not be cause to their destruction but in fact would be irrelevant. This being said I do believe there to be reasonable and sufficient doubt that the American people were told the truth regarding the events of September 11th.

I watched live on this day of the second plane hitting and when the buildings begun to fall I knew in my heart that this was not right and that there was no way jet fuel burnt hot enough to melt the core beams . Like the angle of the second plane taking out the corner of the building it at best would have fell side ways and not straight down.

I have no doubt that the official cause for the destruction of the Twin Towers, and more significantly Building 7, is completely false. From what I have read and researched I believe the evidence clearly points to explosives being used to collapse the buildings. Witnesses hearing explosions, explosive residue, molten steel and the buildings falling into their own footprint are all things too huge to ignore.
