PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Only in a contained combustion burner with compressed air and atomized fuel can we attain temperatures high enough to soften steel (> 1800 degrees F). There is no explanation for an open fire causing steel structural failure.

It is clear from my own research into the matter that the government is not telling us the whole story about 9/11. This does not imply 9/11 was a government conspiracy, but it does mean that important facts are being withheld from a public that has a right to know them. I believe the focus should be on Building 7, which underwent a symmetrical collapse that did not account for the mass resistance of the vertical pillars that were designed to hold the building up in the first place.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Lehigh University in 1981. In the intervening years I worked at a variety of jobs, the most applicable being the 12 years when I did instrumentation & controls and then mechanical design engineering for a variety of industries. I have a typical plodding but thorough and mechanistic and engineering approach to any subject I approach.
I felt indignation when I first heard that people were questioning the official version of 9-11 events. It took several years for it to filter through to me that building 7 fell at free fall speeds 7+ hours after the towers. I've perused the NIST report dated 2008. I do understand the elaborate chain of events described therein and they sound very unlikely. I've heard some expert testimony questioning many of the premises and details NIST used to construct their report. I'm convinced the NIST report is unsatisfactory and that we owe it to the victims, their families and to ourselves to continue investigating. The bad guys are still out there. Their monumental arrogance and sociopathic mentality will continue to surface if we don't.

It is an absolute scientific certainty that the Twin Towers and WTC7 were destroyed by energetic material (i.e. explosives) in a controlled demolition: all three buildings came down at nearly free fall acceleration, meaning that the gravitational potential energy from the weight of the buildings was entirely converted in kinetic energy. So the energy that pulverised all the concrete and cut all the steel beams and columns in mid-air necessarily had to come from something else. Only explosives can release that much energy in such a short time. Furthermore, the unnatural symmetry of the collapses requires a very accurate timing => it was a controlled demolition.

But if there's a corrupt administration and complicit media covering for a few rich powerful men who've made billions then it doesn't matter if someone is caught red-handed. Without a platform there can be no reckoning. If this case was a murder trial with a regular 12-person jury, there would be enough circumstantial evidence to convict he or she ten times over. It will of course come out one day; but by then the protagonists will all be long gone. It must happen now.

As a scientist, I am well aware of the properties of different chemicals and metals. As the son of a well respected structural engineer, I learned enough to know how overbuilt most structures are. A hydrocarbon fire is not capable of producing the intense heat needed to bring these buildings down.
As a scientist, I look at facts to find the truth. All of the facts support controlled demolition of all three buildings. In addition, the facts show evidence of materials (nanothermite) that are not generally available. As an American, I am appalled by the official explanation. It concerns me greatly that the facts and evidence have been generally ignored in the official story.

Though not an architect myself, I have studied numerous books, watched many DVDs of the event, and am convinced a truly independent investigation should take place. I've been waiting years for this to catch on in fog that our corporate medias cloud around this event. In fact it's time to repeal the Patriot Act.
Everything shows this was a controlled demolition. Marvin Bush and his cousin Wirt Walker and their companies Securatec and Securacom should be investigated as they were principals in the security company responsible for the towers. What role did Controlled Demolition's affiliate AASI doing asbestos abatement prior to 911, since they were in the towers during this period? Did Peter G Peterson, head of Blackstone Group aid Larry Silverstein in gaining an insurance policy that included a terrorist attack clause? Who was the unidentified recipient of the put options who couldn't possibly be involved with terrorism? And while we're on who benefited, who did the fire sale of steel from the Trade Center site net a tidy ( I'm sure ) profit? Why were operations transferred from the EOM in the 21st floor of Tower 7 to 47 Barclay St. which by Google I see is just behind the Ole Salomon Bldg? Who cued both the BBC and Fox News to broadcast 20 minutes early that it had collapsed? And the towers collapsing, are they America's Shock and Awe?

Have doubted official story since shortly after the event and read everything I can get my hands on. Although it is useful to view hour-long videos, a few minutes viewing the videos of the towers exploding and the collapse of Building 7 is sufficient for any lay person to suspect controlled demolition. Recent evidence of nanothermite in nearby dust makes the case almost water-tight. D.R. Griffin's scholarly work on context is intellectually and socially convincing. For the general public and politicians to acknowledge domestic involvement or leadership in these demolitions will probably require confessions of one or more insiders. Surfacing these will require strong immunity and witness protection conditions. To make this happen, the President will need added encouragement and protection.

I've done years of research on what happened that day, reading websites that believe what was said in the 911 Commission Report, and obviously, those that don't. After weighing all the evidence, both written and viewed (photographs and videos), I've come to the conclusion that the buildings were brought down by some kind of explosives. Exactly what kind, I don't know. Having researched the available evidence concerning this heinous crime, I am convinced that a full, independent and impartial investigation into the true causes of 9/11 is warranted. The felling of these buildings was more characteristic of a controlled demolition than of a collapse through fire subsequent to the plans collision.

The buildings fell into their own footprint. It is against the laws of physics for buildings to fall at free fall speed without some help. Just watch the video of World Trade Center 7, it speaks for its self.

I am a human being who has looked at the true evidence despite the heavy opposition to alternative beliefs in public school systems. At the very least, there are questions that are unanswered that must be answered.
The official story mentions nothing of building 7 and gives no explanation to the military nano-thermite found in the rubble of the north and south towers. Most questions asked by the families of victims of the events of 9/11 went completely unanswered. These facts alone are reason to demand answers.

When i saw the towers fall (live on tv) i was immediately struck by my thought that they could not have fallen as a result of plane impact. I had recently watched a documentary about the WTC and it mentioned the 1945 Empire state building plane crash and that they were aware of this possibility when designing the WTC so i knew straight away it was wrong.

I am a liberal arts graduate who is well enough educated to think for myself. I do my own research. My eyes were opened 25 years ago when I started researching the JFK case. In 1998 I discovered what General Partin revealed about the Oaklahoma Federal Building. It wasn't difficult for me to understand what happened to the WTC.
David Ray Griffin wrote a book entitled The Mysterious Collapse of World Trade Center Building 7. I don't think it is mysterious at all. There is only one thing that can make a building come down like that. The thing that is mysterious is why it is so hard for so many intelligent people to see that.
