PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Objects move through the path of least resistance. Towers 1 and 2 collapsed through the path of most resistance. Normally, you would expect the layers to fall with increasing eccentricity as the collapse progressed, rather than through the centreline where the greatest resistance is. NIST's cascade theory depends on mathematical modeling, and as with all complex models, numerous assumptions are needed to get the model to run. An independent review is needed to verify the reasonableness and plausibility of the factors included in the model which was used to support the cascade theory. We need to independently verify whether the NIST analysis was a case of shooting the arrow and then painting the bulls eye around it. Furthermore, films of the collapse of WTC7 show a very improbable event: the symmetrical collapse of a building that was impacted by the WTC 1&2 debris asymmetrically. Both ends of WTC7 should not have begun their collapse at the same moment if left to chance alone. The collapses of WTC 1, 2, and 7, purely from an engineering point of view, and leaving out any political theories or implications, do not make sense without the assistance of explosives or other devices or some other as-yet unimagined factor to remove resistance and control the collapse. I very much recommend that the engineers, whose duty it is to determine the causes of collapse, remain unswayed by speculations and fears about political implications, and make their assessments based on the physics and engineering alone. The claims made by NIST seem to require multiple leaps of faith in highly improbable events. Improbable things do indeed happen, but as all good skeptics know: Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

I witnessed, first hand, the lack of horizontal fire suppression (vertical risers were installed) and the sub standard building life safety conditions that were allowed by the NYS Port Authority. These defficiencies may not have contributed the collapse but might have saved many lives had they been installed. There are many unanswered questions that need to be researched and reported. The fall of WTC 7 did it for me. The fact that BBC had announced it prior to the collapse, and that it had not been hit by any airplane. Then if fell perfectly...the third skyscraper that day that just fell perfectly into its own footprint. No way...Then the media blackout on that building and not a word in the commission report...WTC 7 was very obviously a controlled demolition and no one puts that together on the day of 911...It had to have been planned. There is just too much evidence to suggest that only a plane was involved with the 9/11 attacks. Plus there is also the possibility that other people outside of Muslim extremists played a role in the attack. It is suspicious that many members of Al qaeda were let free only days after the attack. We are not hearing the whole truth and I want to know what happened, as do we all.

Taking into account evidence that can be validated, where the chain of evidence is documented, and which would be admissible in a court of law, and comparing the official hypothesis with hypothesis based on controlled demolition of both the WTC tower 1 and 2, and in particular considering WTC building 7, I agree with the official investigation, that the best official hypothesis has only a very low likelihood of occurrence. Since hypothesis based on controlled demolition are those that best can explain the greatest amount of valid evidence, I not only support hypothesis of controlled demolition as being the most likely to be true, but call for an international, independent investigation, and prosecution of all who have been involved in perpetrating the appalling acts of politically motivated violence on September the 11th 2001, before, and after the fact.

I am a social worker for the State of Delaware. Since 9-11, I have been awakened to the existence of the extreme corruption that exists in international politics, particularly in this nation. Our so called leaders need to be jailed and tried for treason. We need people who will devote themselves tirelessly to this cause until justice is done.
Explosions were heard, seismic events were registered, yet no forensic examination of the structural steel was completed. Instead, the steel was immediately shipped overseas for recycling. Additionally, WTC 7 was not hit by a plane at all, yet collapsed anyway. One wonders why a more thorough criminal investigation was not completed.

I watched the Peter Jennings ABC broadcast of the tower collapse. I have never accepted the official conspiracy theory concerning the collapse. How does the smaller, less structurally robust top portion completely destroy the larger and progressively more structurally robust lower portion? It is impossible. If anything got crushed at all, the top portion would crush itself against the lower portion until its' energy is expended at which point a large part of the lower portion should be left standing. Differential resistance of the center and the perimeter is not demonstrated in the collapse. The center supports 60% load to the perimeters 40%. This differential resistance should multiply through a progressive collapse so that as the collapse progresses, more and more of the crushed rubble falls away from the central core. In fact the total of the top portion of the South Tower should have fallen over because of both the asymmetric damage and the built in support differential from center to perimeter.

Right from the start I suspected the buildings fell too quickly. I saw building seven fall later that day and thought it looked overly peculiar. Not until years later, did I see the comprehensive evidence to fully understand why the collapses seemed ambiguous to my psyche. The announcement of Operation Freedom after 911 was a sham and political propaganda for the administration to attack Iraq. If the terrorists were connected to Osama Bin Laden or to other terrorist organizations, it was those people who should have been hunted and brought to justice. Instead, the administration's occupation of Iraq leveraged up the profiling for Muslims around the world, and a stereotyped script of us against them. This is why we need an independent investigation into 911.

I have had questioned the 911 tragedy ever since it happened. Every year on September 11 I am reminded of the many lives taken as I watched it on the news at the time it was actually happening. God Bless America!

Footage of the towers comming down at a free fall rate in precise timing with controlled demolition is highly suspect. It seems that the nation's horrified, angry, emotional state after the towers fell has calmed to the point where the use of logic is once again acceptable. Regardless of political points of view, certain scientific facts can not be avoided or ignored.

I'm an ex-union carpenter who did a lot of work on commercial buildings. I never worked on anything nearly as large as the twin towers, but after seeing how large buildings are built, I cannot believe for a moment that those buildings collapsed the way they did because the planes hit them.
There is no way that the official reports of 9/11 are accurate or complete. The eyewitness accounts of what happened from those who were there, evidence after the collapses, expert testimonies that dispute the account given by the government. There are too many unanswered questions.

After watching slow-motion pictures of the 911 building collapses and hearing testimony by architectural and engineering experts, plus testimonies by on-site firemen and policemen, after hearing and seeing the presentation by Mr. Cage, architect, I feel convinced that the official explanations are at least insufficient, at worst false and misleading. So ample justification exists for an independent study of the causes of the Twin Towers and Building 7 collapse.

It appears the buildings were imploded. I support an unbiased investigation and bringing perpetrators to justice regardless of their wealth or position!
