To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Most state engineering license regulatory agencies state something to this effect: Registrants shall at all times recognize that their primary obligation is to protect the safety, health, property and welfare of the public. (OAR 820-020-0015) This is paramount to a licensed engineer's duties. I've studied and pondered the information and comments made by engineers and architects who are likely guided by such licensing rules and who have more expertise in the subject than I do - both in and outside of your web site. I believe them. The facts presented make logical sense and reinforces the intuitive engineer in me that thought something was suspicious regarding the events of that day. My doubt of the official story has increased accordingly over time - thus I sign your petition.

In my opinion, there are 3 GLARING areas of interest to look at with respect to 911. 1) WTC 7 WAS OUTSIDE THE BASIN. Given that what appears to have brought down WTC 7 were tremors resulting from the other WTC buildings falling in close proximity - In my opinion this is area that needs to be examined carefully. 2) THE MAGICAL DISSAPEARING ENGINES at the pentagon. 3) MOLTEN IRON at the base of the WTC. Jet Fuel.. yeah right.. we all believe that one.

I brushed them off as the ramblings of paranoid conspiracy nuts. I watched the PBS presentation on Why the Towers Fell and thought Well, that settles it then. Then I saw your web site. I defer to the experts in the field. However, I do have a solid theoretical background in the fundamentals of engineering, physics and chemistry. My relevant education includes basic undergraduate courses in physics, chemistry, thermodynamics, materials science, psychology and neuropsychology. I have understanding and respect for the scientific method: the method of following the evidence wherever it may lead without prejudice or bias, to arrive at scientifically-derived conclusions, no matter how unpopular or politically incorrect they may or may not be. Science influenced by politics is not pure science; it is pseudo-science. Pure science MUST be apolitical, meaning independent of political influence at every stage. This is always a challenge for professionals, but an ideal worth striving for, both for the integrity of the discipline of science, and for the service of science to humanity.
I first learned of the twin tower collapses on one of the major TV news networks. My personal experience was one of surrealism. It felt more like a dream than reality. Immediately, the names that came to mind were Bin Laden, and Al Quada, and some time later I realized that I had been psychologically primed by the media with this information. I originally believed the story told by the mainstream media and government officials that very hot jet fuel fires caused the steel to melt and collapse. But I think subconsciously I had some reservations that the buildings could collapse at free-fall acceleration, and fall so neatly into their own footprints. I had seen demolition videos before, and the similarity was not lost on me. Many years went by and I began to see inside job bumper stickers, and internet images and stories, the first of which was the BBC story claiming that the Soloman Brothers Building (WTC 7) had collapsed even though it was allegedly visible in the background. After posting this on Facebook as a curiosity, I was contacted by a friend who had been following 9/11 truth for some time. I began my own informal research effort studying internet materials, tempered by my understanding of scientific phenomena and engineering principles. The more I researched, the more it became clear that the official story was not believable, and much of the 9/11 truth information was very plausible and realistically a much more likely explanation of events. There is much evidence to consider: eyewitness accounts of explosions, large volumes of molten metal observed streaming from at least one building both before and after its collapse, large quantities of residual heat, discovery of steel microspheres, discovery of unreacted thermite, the physics of free fall requiring zero vertical support and thus requiring ALL steel support columns to be severed simultaneously, no history of modern steel building collapses due to fire, WTC 1, 2 & 7 all collapsing in a similar manner despite differences in building structure and in structural damage, black smoke indicating a lack of oxygen and a relatively cool fire apparently not hot enough to melt steel in the volumes observed, the buildings being designed to withstand airplane impact of 10% higher kinetic energy, evidence that the government ignored warnings, and so much more... I believe the evidence supporting the case for controlled demolition is overwhelming. There are also compelling means, motive and opportunity for nefarious elements in government to carry out such an attack. At least one experimenter with videos on youtube has shown that a thermite charge placed on a steel bolt is an effective and efficient means of destruction, and offers a plausible explanation of events, and is consistent with the WTC evidence.

I am an English writer living in New Zealand. I have a strong interest in science and reason. Politically speaking, I believe only in what can be proven (or more accurately, I - as logic dictates - disbelieve that which can be disproved).
I am looking only for the scientifically backed, empirically sound truth. It appears that the investigation into the 9/11 incident has not been explored beyond the most rudimentary level. No credible reasons have been given by the authorities explaining the free-fall velocity of the collapse, the 'pancake' floors theory or the evidence of molten steel in a situation where temperatures did not appear to rise to the required temperatures in even topical areas, let alone across the entire superstructure of 3 separate buildings. The detonation theory at least offers an entirely plausible counter-explanation. Until further proof is given, or scientific debate entered into, the official explanation must be treated with extreme caution.

I am not a technical expert by any means and I know our eyes and memories can be deceptive. However, I feel that we as a nation have been lied to. First of all, I understand that it is not the government that is running the country but the financial elite of the world. They are the pupeteers who pull the strings of the politicians who think they are running things. They meet in secret and no one is allowed that is not of huge financial means. They are globalists who are intent on setting up a one world system of gov't, money, healthcare etc. The plan was passed from one generation to the next since the early 1900's or before. Their goal is world domination and they are determined to pull it off. They are the most evil people who have ever lived. It is a well documented fact that the towers came down in 8.5 seconds which would be impossible unless it was a planned demolition. These people will not give up until at least 80% of the world population is fried or dead they say. They may have underestimated the American people. We are not going to give up our guns until we are dead. We will take alot of their pawns out with us. These puppeteers could care less as long as they have their world domination. They are a bunch of lying, cheating, theiving, murdering evil people. The only thing they don't know is that God is waiting for them at the end of their road and they will meet Him on judgement day, that great day, that justice will be served. And if they don't repent before that day, they will be finished for eternity. I am a 'professional student' and have done a lot of reading and research on 9/11 (among other subjects).
It is obvious that the buildings fell due to controlled demolition. They fell at free-fall speed INTO the path of greatest resistance. For this to have been due to anything other than controlled demolition is quite simply a physical impossibility. Also, thermite/thermate particles were found in the dust. Also, there was the tell-tale 'pyroclastic flow' of gases and dust/debris. Also, there was no reason for Bldg.7 to fall; it was at best minimally damaged, and the fires in it were minor.

I always had a special interest in science and grew up in an environment that helped me develop analytical and critical thinking skills. From the very first time I witnessed both buildings falling, I was of the opinion that such a perfect fall could not have occurred naturally and that somehow, their destruction was the result of a planned demolition rather than the result of a plane crash.

The new evidence and obvious collapse of the buildings during 9/11 are in need of an in-depth investigation to provide necessary truth to the attack. The people deserve the right to know what really caused the buildings to destruct so rapidly. We need to have the truth explored and revealed.

Interdisciplinary education and professional experience in counseling, church education, business and life coaching; author of books on parenting, spirituality, and personal development. I knew of David Ray Griffin while in a Ph.D. program at Claremont while he was still there; read some of his earlier work and respect him highly.
I have numerous lines of doubt about the official story. It just does not line up with undisputed facts from photos and materials analysis. These are further bolstered by on-the-spot accounts of many professionally trained observers, mostly first-responders. There is serious question as to how the twin towers could fall, in the manner they did, and so rapidly, without explosive or other demolition assistance beyond plane impact and fire. But even more inexplicable, in the official story, is the fall of building 7.

As a sociologist, having watched the disinformation and misdirection of investigations like the Bay of Pigs, Warren Commission, the Conlon Report, WaterGate, Flight 800, Iran Contra, Oklahoma Bombing Grand Jury#2, and now the White Paper Commission report missing the mention of building #7's collapse entirely--it feels just like history repeating itself. Then, like the Warren Commission being peopled by a select group of JFK haters, this commission being peopled with reps of corps with annual $10 million in defense-related contracts. You have the pristine passports from purported terrorists found on the street below WTC just like JFK's magic bullet found by Arlan Specter on the cot beside him. Its just the same sloppy, brute force cover up style all over again.

I have worked with adults, adolescents and children in physical and mental health care facilities since 1985. Previous to that I studied psychology and sociology at Wayne State University. I am a single mother of a teen-age daughter.
After listening to the engineers, architects, and building construction experts explain the various discrepancies, mysterious occurrences, bizarre coincidences and hard facts about steel, temperature, gravity etc, I am totally convinced that something even more horrible than we can conceive took place. What we were told in the first place was unconscionable enough, but now I believe some even greater evil took place. We need to arrive at the truth and as citizens we want to know.

The official story surrounding 911 does not reflect the realities or hold up to scrutiny. For the sake of our world, the future of our children and for the sake of truth and honor, an independent investigation is necessary and vital for the well-being of all.

After high school I studied Civil and Chemical Engineering for 4 years before recieving a BS (Math), at the University of Wisconsin. I proceeded to graduate school where I received two Masters Degrees (in Ministry and in Pastoral Psychotherapy).
