On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I was working on the core-and-shell retrofit of the landmark Bank of New York building at 48 Wall Street the morning of 9/11/2001. After being notified that the WTC north tower was on fire, I paused a project meeting for a 15 minute break. We never got back to it. I personally stood at the corner of Liberty Park, which is across from WTC Borders Book Store when the second plane hit. The things that went on over the next few days I have always wondered about and questioned in my mind. On day three, I was called back for the disconnect of 48 Wall St. from the power grid. This was necessary, as the electric company would be attempting to power up downtown and did not want to electrically blow out any buildings on power up. How amazing it was to witness; truly an incredible effort to re-set a temporary power grid above ground over all of the lower downtown area in such a short time. Especially, which I did not know at the time, the main power feeds were completely severed from the collapse. The quantity of heavy cabling required on site so quickly and laid out on the street surfaces - alone an incredibly coordinated task - add to it all the volcanic ash type dusting, vehicles all over the areas and war zone type images. Now in retrospect, the coordinated removal of the debris began immediately. The firm I was with had assigned one or two engineers to assist on dismantling design and sketching. They along with one of the firms huge cranes were removed shortly after. From my first basic structural classes, I was told that the biggest danger to a steel structure that was exposed to high heat was that the affected or exposed steel would eventually lose its integrity and become rubbery - stressed past its modulus of elasticity. In witnessing the second plane hit the south/east corner of the south tower, and assuming that the heat was intense enough - long enough, the tower would have failed at and around impact height. In my opinion, it should have looked like a wrecked car that had been broadsided. The building would have been compromised from that corner and up and diagonally. To the extent that adjacent structural bays away from impact or heat areas would have reacted from the new imposed lateral and vertical stresses, I cannot speculate, I would only say that it would have been slow. That's all for now . . . My prayers to all those firemen (many just boys, it seemed), whose faces I looked at as they got out of their cars and pick-ups and were suiting up in fire equipment. The faces of disbelief as they walked the block or two towards WTC. These are but a few images I will never forget.

I am an English writer living in New Zealand. I have a strong interest in science and reason. Politically speaking, I believe only in what can be proven (or more accurately, I - as logic dictates - disbelieve that which can be disproved).
I am looking only for the scientifically backed, empirically sound truth. It appears that the investigation into the 9/11 incident has not been explored beyond the most rudimentary level. No credible reasons have been given by the authorities explaining the free-fall velocity of the collapse, the 'pancake' floors theory or the evidence of molten steel in a situation where temperatures did not appear to rise to the required temperatures in even topical areas, let alone across the entire superstructure of 3 separate buildings. The detonation theory at least offers an entirely plausible counter-explanation. Until further proof is given, or scientific debate entered into, the official explanation must be treated with extreme caution.

I am not a technical expert by any means and I know our eyes and memories can be deceptive. However, I feel that we as a nation have been lied to. Anyone can see that with the relative ease of the collapse of the towers that there was a great deal of control to doing this. When first watching the videos, there seemed to be a few things off about them. But, still being in high school and not knowing very much about explosions, I brushed them off. I first heard about the collapses on my way to work. As I eventually saw the towers falling it felt as though my heart stopped beating. I thought it was the beginning of a war. The more I started to read about conspiracy theories on 9/11, I became more interested and open. I started learning about these theories from scholars and others with more knowledge then I. First of all, I understand that it is not the government that is running the country but the financial elite of the world. They are the pupeteers who pull the strings of the politicians who think they are running things. They meet in secret and no one is allowed that is not of huge financial means. They are globalists who are intent on setting up a one world system of gov't, money, healthcare etc. The plan was passed from one generation to the next since the early 1900's or before. Their goal is world domination and they are determined to pull it off. They are the most evil people who have ever lived. It is a well documented fact that the towers came down in 8.5 seconds which would be impossible unless it was a planned demolition. These people will not give up until at least 80% of the world population is fried or dead they say. They may have underestimated the American people. We are not going to give up our guns until we are dead. We will take alot of their pawns out with us. These puppeteers could care less as long as they have their world domination. They are a bunch of lying, cheating, theiving, murdering evil people. The only thing they don't know is that God is waiting for them at the end of their road and they will meet Him on judgement day, that great day, that justice will be served. And if they don't repent before that day, they will be finished for eternity. They will get their just reward [God's wrath]that has been being saved up for them and they will have no rest day or night and will suffer severely for all eternity. I am a 'professional student' and have done a lot of reading and research on 9/11 (among other subjects).
It is obvious that the buildings fell due to controlled demolition. They fell at free-fall speed INTO the path of greatest resistance. For this to have been due to anything other than controlled demolition is quite simply a physical impossibility. Also, thermite/thermate particles were found in the dust. Also, there was the tell-tale 'pyroclastic flow' of gases and dust/debris. Also, there was no reason for Bldg.7 to fall; it was at best minimally damaged, and the fires in it were minor.

I always had a special interest in science and grew up in an environment that helped me develop analytical and critical thinking skills. My undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and MA in Psychology gave me insight into human motivations and belief systems. 9/11 info presents a conflict between majority belief systems and hard scientific data. When you have large numbers of experts all saying the same thing, it should not be ignored. Rational, logical thinking is important to truth. Emotions can hinder clarity and finding the truth, and this has been the case over and over again throughout history.

I have numerous lines of doubt about the official story. It just does not line up with undisputed facts from photos and materials analysis. These are further bolstered by on-the-spot accounts of many professionally trained observers, mostly first-responders. As a sociologist, having watched the disinformation and misdirection of investigations like the Bay of Pigs, Warren Commission, the Conlon Report, WaterGate, Flight 800, Iran Contra, Oklahoma Bombing Grand Jury#2, and now the White Paper Commission report missing the mention of building #7's collapse entirely--it feels just like history repeating itself. Then, like the Warren Commission being peopled by a select group of JFK haters, this commission being peopled with reps of corps with annual $10 million in defense-related contracts. You have the pristine passports from purported terrorists found on the street below WTC just like JFK's magic bullet found by Arlan Specter on the cot beside him. Its just the same sloppy, brute force cover up style all over again.

I have worked with adults, adolescents and children in physical and mental health care facilities since 1985. Previous to that I studied psychology and sociology at Wayne State University. I am a single mother of a teen-age daughter.
After listening to the engineers, architects, and building construction experts explain the various discrepancies, mysterious occurrences, bizarre coincidences and hard facts about steel, temperature, gravity etc, I am totally convinced that something even more horrible than we can conceive took place. What we were told in the first place was unconscionable enough, but now I believe some even greater evil took place. We need to arrive at the truth and as citizens we want to know.
