PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I am an architect who retired in 2010 from the State of California Department of Transportation, Division of Engineering Services, after having worked a combined 29 years in Transportation Architecture and Project Management. Buildings I designed include numerous maintenance stations, an equipment shop, roadside rest areas, a tunnel ventilation building, and light rail transit stations. Many of these buildings were steel frame, all were in California. Before coming to Caltrans, I worked for Liske, Lionakis, Beaumont, & Engberg Architects and Engineers, where I designed the Pacific Telephone Administrative Complex in Rohnert Park, CA, which is also a steel frame building.

It was 47 stories high (571 feet), steel frame, more than 300 feet from the nearest tower (WTC 1), was not hit by an airplane, had no significant fire, and yet it too was completely destroyed coming straight down, symmetrically, at freefall speed as if by controlled demolition. - - ' What materials in the WTC provided the fuel to generate enough heat (2,500 degrees F) to create the pools of molten steel reported by firefighters and cleanup crews, when jet fuel has an open air burning temperature of 600 degrees F and a maximum burning temperature of 1,800 degrees F? - - ' Why did the US Government spend only $600,000 to investigate the collapse of all three WTC skyscrapers, when it spent $40 million to investigate Clinton's sex life?

I would agree that there can be no other logical explanation from the evidence to date except that a controlled demolition using the latest technology of ordnance was involved. All three buildings collapse in the same manner? Impossible! If someone reaches into a haystack and pulls out a needle, he is lucky, if he reaches in again and gets another needle, wait a minute something is not right here, and if he reaches a third time and gets a needle, well the answer is quite simple. I read the NIST report and do not agree with their input load criteria. I also find it impossible that steel would become molten at the temperatures reached by burning of jet fuel. I believe nano-thermite or some other explosives must have been used. Regardless of WTC 1 and 2, nothing in the official story explains how WTC 7 failed. The use of the term 'pulled' is self explanatory in my opinion. This was clearly a controlled demolition.

In my circles it is said that 9/11 is beyond a red herring, it is a double-illusion. There were enough signs of foreknowlege of the events to stipulate that access (defeatable security) to the information leading to the foreknowlege was not an accident. In other words, there was an X marking the treasure, and the key was buried next to the chest. Do not be fooled. The evidence and heuristics upon witch your theories (soon to be accepted as fact) are based are not by accident. With the amount of intelligence in the project, the disparity (2 planes to destroy 3 buildings) is not by accident. The 3rd building was destroyed to eventually be presented as the ultimate evidence (as discovered by sensible and credible observers, i.e. engineers and architects) of a conspiracy. Just as the WTC towers were built to be destroyed (the eventual and ultimate conclusion of the civil investigation), the truth was built to be disproved. The power to destroy buildings is dwarfed by the power to destroy ideas - the pinnacle of ultimate power. As the saying goes, the end justifies the means.

I recently received my license to sell health and life insurance. It took me a few years, but I eventually got my bachelor's degree in 2004 in Psychology. I have never worked in that field. I've had a number of jobs that have not lasted. Although I'm optomistic that my new career will work out, considering the economy, I am aware that I may have to take other employments, too.
I never really believed it was caused by Al Qaida. It just seemed implausible. In the first couple of weeks after 9-11, I started thinking about JFK, Jr.'s death, an experienced pilot, and yet his plane seemed to simply fall out of the sky. Since I was a kid, I'm 43 now, I've seen small aircraft controlled by remote control. Why couldn't they have done it by remote control, was my first notion of technique. I didn't see any footage showing the buildings looked like controlled demolitions until just a few months ago, when on a whim, I came to this website. It seems so obvious now.

I have always been a counter culture instigator, and since watching the Nixon hearings as a 10-year-old, have been hard pressed to take the official government position on anything as the truth. As a health professional and researcher, I find our history and policy in so many areas completely based on the profits of one cabal or another, always at the cost of our society in general. I was up late on the night before 9/11/01, having worked on a studio project at my collaborator's house until almost 1 am. I went to sleep in his guest room at about 1:30. At 5:47 AM, PST, I was violently awakened from a dream, such that I was hurled out of bed an onto the floor. I had no idea what had happened, and could not return to sleep pr remember my dream. Although I spend much time doing dream work, and have good dream recall, I completely forgot what happened in this dream, and nothing of this sort had ever happened to me before or since. Of course, 5:47 AM PST is 8:47 AM EST, so as the morning unfolded, I knew something was up.

i am at the time of writing (September 2011) 63 years old, and retired now. i began my university career with a mathematics scholarship to Corpus Christi College Oxford and subsequently studied psychology and philosophy, gaining a first class honors degree. this information is on record. i then engaged in several years research into aspects of cognitive and perceptual psychology at the Psychological Laboratory, Cambridge University and for the (government-sponsored) Medical Research Unit. later i worked as a transport scientist at University College London, and contributed to a variety of government-funded research projects, including one requiring detailed estimation of population exposure to radiation from different options for the transport of hazardous radioactive waste. i mention this latter work to emphasize that (a) though not an engineer i am technically literate and (b) i have had ample opportunity to see at close quarters how truth can be and sometimes is subordinated to political requirements by highly intelligent academics and civil servants, even in areas much less contentious than the 911 scenario. being mildly aspergers this untruthfulness eventually became so distasteful to me that i left academia and since then have devoted my time to musical composition.
I have come relatively late to the examination of scientific evidence concerning the collapse of the wtc twin towers, and I can add no technical insights to what has already been uncovered by the courageous instigators of this petition. But as a psychologist, I have examined the behavior of the politicians and the media, in the light of what I have long known about economy with the truth, distortion, spin and plain, good old-fashioned lying. So my original suspicions were based on circumstantial reasoning. Like most people I was shocked by the televised coverage of 911. But whilst recent history shows that it is possible for an individual or small group of people to conspire to detonate explosives causing loss of life and damage to buildings, the coordination of the 911 events seemed on an altogether different scale. It did not add up for me that a handful of desperados' armed with box-cutters' could simultaneously take over four commercial jet aircraft equipped with the latest anti-hijack technology, and then, having undergone a few hours training on flight simulators at a flying school, steer these highly sophisticated machines so accurately, and mysteriously avoid being shot down by military aircraft or missile defenses. The idea that the pentagon, an almost impregnable fortress, armed to the teeth and protected by information and weapon systems that the average joe can scarcely imagine could be attacked in this way, seemed frankly incredible. Nevertheless I did not become a conspiracy nut. My deeper suspicions were actually aroused more slowly, by the fact that there were never any follow-up attacks on anything like the same scale. After all if terrorists really want to kill people en masse it is not really that difficult. Could they not, for example, distribute poisoned ecstasy to thousands of naive youngsters at a rave or a rock festival? Yet despite massive provocation, including guantanamo, rendition, murders by drone, etc. There was never any real response by al qaeda. I then saw how the manipulated public response to the events of 911 fitted into the political agenda, justifying two large-scale invasions of countries crucial to oil supplies, scaremongering, restrictions on civil liberties, and behaviors expressing utter contempt for established principles of international law concerning the treatment of political prisoners, the use of assassination without trial, torture etc. And I asked myself, carefully and repeatedly, the good old question of ancient jurisprudence. Cui bono?

Although I have worked mainly in Social Services/Mental Health over last ten years or so, I have also worked in the field of construction as a building trade apprentice for two years in the 1990's and I knew when those buildings went down it was demolition. One need not be a weatherman to know which way the wind is blowing. I have also lived and fought for truth all my life and I have the scars to prove it. But I wouldn't have it any other way.
I am very happy you wrapped up the documentary with psychotherapists and psychologists talking about the effects of trauma on a whole nation. Immediately following the event and years after I could not consider anything about the event as I stayed in my own little world of work and family. But, in 2009 I had the time to look into the whole 9/11 movement and spent the next few years learning the whole truth and the facts. Although I am no 9/11 expert on details, it all made complete sense to me from the beginning of viewing the documentaries and reading hundreds of web sites. I am a member of Paltalk and plan to share this website and film in the political chat rooms I visit. (Even if some little screen name called wiseupitsoutofyourhands continues to follow me around when I post things like the recent FRONTLINE Top Secret America documentary). Keep up the good work!!

I have been employed the last 20 years with the State of Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services.
From what I have seen, Building number 7 looks too much like a demolition than a building collapse due to an office fire. I have seen demolitions and I have seen buildings partially collapse due to a fire but not totally. Mostly it is the face of the building that falls not the entire building. The truth is out there and we deserve to know it.

After several years study of the evidence available at ae911truth.org and other 911 truth websites, and attending the ae911truth conference in the fall of 2010 in Hartford, CT I am convinced that the official explanation of how the 3 WTC Towers fell cannot possibly be true. Specifically, the pulverization of the concrete in the Twin Towers and WTC7, the presence of iron microspheres and especially the presence of residual nanothermite in all samples of the WTC dust are irrefutable evidence of controlled demolition. A new independent, fully funded and subpoena empowered investigation is essential to the survival of the U.S.A. as we know it or hope it to be.

I had never heard of Building 7 until yesterday and wonder why. All the information I have heard about the collapse of the buildings from internet and friends who have looked into it make me believe that something is not right here. From day one I was surprised by the way the two Towers collapsed straight down one layer upon another seemingly perfect symmetry.

I believe that this is a most horrendous example of the wealthy and powerful creating a natural disaster in order to invoke the irrational support of the citizenry to accept and support what they do following either a man made disaster or a natural disaster. It fits Naomi Klein's theories in her book Shock Doctrine: Disaster Capitalism and is representative of the economic teachings of Milton Friedman which taught theories about how a minority could use disasters (natural or man made) to impose their will on the majority.

My formal education has been overwhelmingly in those fields requiring the scientific method- Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Histology, Anatomy, Physiology, etc. etc. I chose the medical specialty of Psychiatry for it's necessary interface of scientific disciplines and human nature, behavior, mood, thought process, etc. I enjoy my work for it's intellectual stimulation and infinite associations with every aspect of knowledge. Surely, to understand why people do the things they do forms the question that occupies the mind most often... followed by and what can you do to correct/improve it?? I'm 55 + years into this exploration and it just gets better every week!
I knew from the moment I first saw the collapse of the WTC towers, that it was a planned, controlled demolition. It fell in such a way as to exclude any other explanation. The stupidity of the public discourse that followed during, afterward and up to the present... is hardly bearable. I think it is a powerful statement about the general lack of scientific literacy in the American public, but also about the very human psychological defense of Denial. It is even more difficult to explain why, after 10 years, there has not been a serious international forensic study of the events of 9/11/01.
