PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Mr. Simmons studied at Brigham Young University, graduating with degrees in Russian and Civil & Environmental Engineering with an emphasis in structures. He had the unique privilege of being one of Dr. Steven Jones' physics students prior to 9/11, learning from him the principles of conservation of energy and momentum. Following his formal training, he returned to his native Santa Rosa, California and has worked for the past three years in the engineering profession, analyzing and designing water-based infrastructure and residential structures.
My initial exposure to the case for controlled demolition was as a result of a coworker, Ron Brookman, giving me a copy of one of Dr. Jones' papers. Knowing that I had attended BYU, Ron asked me if I had heard of him. I informed him that I had a physics class from him and vouched for his integrity as a scholar and person. Then I read the article. I was not taken easily by the hypotheses at first, and have to admit that, while the science was well-founded, my conscience did not want to let me accept this alternative theory and its startling consequences. I found myself challenging the points made, especially the symmetrical fall theory, and tried mentally to reason my way out of what I was slowly becoming convinced of. In the end, the science -- primarily, the near-freefall speed at which the buildings came down and the evidence of incendiaries in the rubble -- the testimonies, the pictures and video footage, and the structural drawings, which show a central core around which, even if the floors did progressively collapse due to weakening of the steel by heat, would have been left intact -- all these things convinced me that we did not have the full story as provided by NIST, FEMA, ASCE, and the WTC buildings' own structural engineer, Leslie Robertson. Getting to the bottom of what happened on 9/11 requires another serious look at the evidence, much of which has already been destroyed. Our representatives in Congress need to stand up and speak for us, not bow to the powers that, while they do much good, also have a tendency to threaten, incite fear in, and weaken us. I saw a bumper sticker that reads We must speak up, even if our voices shake. Such is the case here. Money, perceived civil order, and temporary stability are not worth rejecting truth - ever. In the end, the hard truth must be accepted, whatever it may be. We must suffer the consequences of our shameful mistakes and then start to heal the wounds. I am concerned with my profession's involvement in this apparent cover up and the media's refusal to address important questions for the reasons stated above. Nothing will happen and this will all evolve into another conspiracy theory, if it has not already, if we don't speak up resolutely now. Finally, I feel deeply for those whose loved ones were lost on 9/11 and indirectly through our questionable involvement in international affairs. I realize that my support of additional inquiries into what happened may seem like stirring the pot for people who simply want closure and to move on. I love my country and the unprecedented freedoms it provides. In order to preserve these freedoms, however, I feel that we must pursue the truth and responsibly deal with it, not close our eyes to it because of how painful it is.

Whilst I am a graduate of Aeronautical Engineering from Sydney University, upon graduation I started a business in a different field & pursued self employment in other fields for my entire working life. As such, I have never worked a day in my life as an engineer. That said, I still have a reasonable grasp of the scientific principles involved & am well aware that the aircraft that struck WTC 1 & 2 could not possibly have been commercial 767's as they exceeded their flight envelope parameters (esp. in relation to their speed at sea level) . I'm also well aware, through basic High school Physics principles, that WTC7's mostly freefall collapse ( & WTC 1 & 2's near free fall collapse ), are incompatible with what one would expect from an asymmetric gravity collapse.

Ever since my studies of architecture, my professors and all professional literature have stated that STEEL BUILDINGS with proper fire safety WILL NOT BURN DOWN. Not even after a week. The day of 9/11, I was working on an Army base in Germany and was immediatly suspicious about the official narrative on TV. Not only the construction details did not make sense, but also all of the MILITARY PROCEDURES that supposedly didn't work that day, it was just way too much. I hoped that an investigation would clarify the events after the dust settled, but only inconclusive nonsense got published. Anybody with open eyes and basic knowledge about construction and demolition knows that buildings DO NOT COME DOWN IN FREE FALL, except with intensive preparation and installation of explosives at the exact spots. Otherwise, the building will incline to some side and cause major destruction. What was seen at 9/11 in NYC is in no way possible as officially declared. Only a real investigation of ALL EVIDENCE will bring the truth. It is time to get this truth to light!

The particular report that triggered alarm bells was the BBC reporting of the second plane crashing into the tower. I was watching a live transmission of BBC World in New Zealand and remember the very minute they broke into the regular broadcast with the incident of the first tower in New York. There was no doubt some confusion in the news rooms and i expected some uncertain details in the reports. I did not expect the complete absence of normal production standards, especially in a global newsroom The announcer was doing the talking head thing as the live transmission was broadcast behind her. the first tower was burning with a heavy dark smoke and the choppers where buzzing around looking for clues as to what had happened. Then the second plane entered shot and exploded as it penetrated the face of the second tower. i waited for the announcer to say something. The announcer waffled on repeating adnauseum the only thing they knew 'something has hit one of the towers at the World trade Center' nothing about the second building being hit. I waited. I waited a full four to five minutes before the words i will never forget we are getting reports that something may have happened to the second tower I always remember thinking the world witnessed that detail about five minutes ago so how come the announcer was not told what had been broadcast live on a screen behind her. This troubled me and was not raised as an issue until later in the day with the Building 7 fiasco where BBC World reported the collapse of a 47 story building twenty odd minutes before it happened. From that day i have been a Truther. I have limited resources but used creatively, i am finding numerous ways to bring questions to people, and answers to questions.

I am a person who learned the scientific method as a child, always questioned commonly accepted beliefs, even when it put me at odds with my parents, church leaders, school administrators and others. As a lighting designer and licensed electrician, I have had more than the average exposure to building practices and techniques used by architects and designers.
It was only in the last few months of 2009 that I have begun to look closer at the evidence for the events of 9/11. I have reached a point where I have divested myself of the governments conspiracy theory, and now believe, based not on emotions or gut feelings, but on the overwhelming preponderance of evidence that points to our governments knowledge of, complicity in, and subsequent covering up of all of the events leading up to, the commission of, and the ways in which these events were used to manipulate the people in order to pursue a military state of war both within our own country and around the world. I always looked at 9/11 truthers with cautious bemusement, but after looking at the evidence, much of it laid out by AE9/11Truth, I now consider myself awakened.

I have smelled a rat from the beginning, when I first saw the news reports on the morning of 9/11/2001. We have started a local organization to try to raise awareness in our area. So far we are having difficulty because people can't believe their government would lie to them even though they see it happening every day with less important events.
I said to myself on 9/11/2001, wow, that looked just like a controlled demolition. The victims' families need to have this crime investigated like any other. I have tried to listen to the official story and when compared to the real science of this event, the official story is a joke, even for a lay person like myself. I received my high school diploma and graduated from St.Patrick's high school. Shortly after I started an apprenticeship with Local 95 Heat and Frost Insulators and I am currently attending my 3rd and final 6weeks of trade school which will move me from the level of apprentice to journeyman.
I highly doubt the official story about the WTC buildings for a number of reasons. 1) The fact that the buildings fell at nearly free fall speed encountering no resistance on the way down. 2) The buildings were built to withstand multiple plane impacts and the buildings still fell. 3) Jet fuel does not burn hot enough to melt the structural steel and cause a sudden collapse. The jet fuel only has the capability of warping and bending the steel beams which in my opinion would not be enough to bring the buildings down SUDDENLY. 4) The concrete was completely pulverized suggesting the possibility of explosives being used. 5) Molten metal was seen by the first responders dripping down the steel beams like lava. Pools of molten metal were also found underneath the rubble of the towers. If a fire isn't hot enough to melt structural steel then what caused the molten metal?? Could it be some sort of an explosive? 6) Many interviews have been done with the first responders, and people who where there who said they heard explosions in the building before and during the WTC collapses. There is video evidence to prove this. Also a man named Willie Rodriguez who was a janitor in the basement levels of the towers heard explosions in the basement just a few seconds before the plane actually crashed into the building. You can find his videos online through Google or Youtube, just type in Willie Rodriguez. 7) Before 9/11 no steel framed structure has ever collapsed due to a fire. This would make the WTC buildings the 1st in history according the the commission report if it were true but I know it's not. And remember WTC building 7 was not hit by a plane and it still collapsed. 8) If the buildings collapsed by fire then why were steel beams thrown hundreds of feet away from the towers. In one case a steel beam was even lodged into a neighboring building. If it was a natural building collapse the beams would have fell straight down not across the street. The amount of force needed to throw a steel beam this far and lodge it into another building would have to great. My conclusion explosives were used. I'm not an architect. I'm not an engineer. I'm not a scientist or a physicist. I'm just an average JOE. Evidence of the truth is in plain sight and easy to understand if you are willing to open your mind. It doesn't take a great mind to see behind the lies of the commission report.

I was an electro-mechanical draftsman for about four years in the late 1960's. In the late 1990's in another occupation working for a private corporation, I helped establish an international labor union. I served on the negotiating team for the first contract, representing about 100 employees. A collective bargaining agreement was eventually agreed upon, and I was then elected the first shop steward, remaining in this capacity until the union was firmly established. Working with others in 2003, I helped convince the City Council of Sacramento to pass a resolution affirming the Constitution and opposing measures that infringe on Constitutional rights (such as in the USA Patriot Act). The Bush Administration defined 9/11 as an act of war - not a crime - so that an investigation could be avoided. 9/11 was a crime, and there has never been an investigation of this crime that has followed the evidence, and evidence of the use of explosives is overwhelming. Simple common sense should tell us that 110-story steel and concrete structures cannot be leveled in about 10 seconds each by fires (initiated by burning jet fuel) alone. WTC Building 7 was not hit by an airplane, and this 47-story steel and concrete structure imploded in about 7 seconds at 5:20 PM. WTC-7's implosion was not even addressed by the Commission.

After seeing the victims standing in the opening of the planes entrance sites on the towers, and taking in to account that many victims in the upper floors of Tower 2 were able to walk past the fires to safety, proves that the fires lacked the intensity to bring down the buildings at near free fall speed...within 50 minutes of impact!!!

The official story is inconsistent with the laws of physics. There is no scientific explanation for the debris being ejected horizontally; within the official story. The collapses, if the official story were correct, would have been asymetrical in nature, and not likely to have occured within the building footprint. I am an entrepreneur and professional software security specialist (i.e. hacker) with a network of extremely intelligent and well connected people.
In my circles it is said that 9/11 is beyond a red herring, it is a double-illusion. There were enough signs of foreknowlege of the events to stipulate that access (defeatable security) to the information leading to the foreknowlege was not an accident. In other words, there was an X marking the treasure, and the key was buried next to the chest. Do not be fooled. The evidence and heuristics upon witch your theories (soon to be accepted as fact) are based are not by accident. With the amount of intelligence in the project, the disparity (2 planes to destroy 3 buildings) is not by accident. The 3rd building was destroyed to eventually be presented as the ultimate evidence (as discovered by sensible and credible observers, i.e. engineers and architects) of a conspiracy. Just as the WTC towers were built to be destroyed (the eventual and ultimate conclusion of the civil investigation), the truth was built to be disproved. The power to destroy buildings is dwarfed by the power to destroy ideas - the pinnacle of ultimate power. As the saying goes, the end justifies the means.

Have a BS in Environmental Science and nearly enough credits for an M.S. in Fire Protection Engineering with classes taken at OSU and UMaryland. Spent a number of years in an investigative role both with the insurance company and as an Assistant Fire Marshal with a town in Pennsylvania. I have, since the buildings fell, had questions about how they fell. I mentioned to my wife, shortly before they fell, that is would be almost impossible for the buildings to fall due to the lack of sufficient heat loading and due to the fire protection systems in place within the buildings. In addition, in over 30 years in the fire business, I have never seen a pancake collapse of the nature that happened here. I have long wondered about water weight loading from the shattered sprinkler systems, which would have continued pumping until empty or without power, yet have never seen anything about water weight presented by any official investigation that takes that into account in any way.

From the way the Towers fell and the tons of debris, steel beams of several tons, that were ejected hundreds of feet laterally, it seems pretty obvious that there had to be explosives present. This also goes for the way the cooler - normal office temperatures - lower floors were destroyed the same way as the upper ones. You had cool - 20 degree Celsius - steel beams down there, that could not possibly just disappear in near-free fall speed. Falling objects can either gain velocity from gravity acceleration or crush objects in their path - they cannot do both at the same time.

I went through a college course studying fire prevention. I did numerous street actions in Montreal with the 911 truth group there and still I am trying to get as much info as I can to people around me.
When explaining 911 to people, I always start with building 7, the building that supposedly collapsed due to small fires. Always funny to see that people do not know about that building. There has been a case of a skyscraper in Montreal burning for hours and none of the city experts present had the mere thought it would collapse. Of course, even though the fire destruction was vast, it remained standing. One more well-known case is the tower in Madrid.

As a commercial aircraft mechanic, I'm aware of how fragile an aluminum & composite structure is. I always thought it would be a great to see an aluminum aircraft try to fly though a steel girder structure. Just the frame so you can clearly witness steel box frames cut the aircraft to ribbons w/ little significant damage. Of course the engines may seem like bowling balls, but how likely are they to cause damage to more than a very small part of a large structure? Keep the faith guys!

Science was not suspended by those who destroyed the three World Trade Center buildings. There are hundreds of points that I investigated that reveal the official government version of what happened on and around 9/11 is, to put it simply, nonsense. However, one only needs to understand 2 of these points to be motivated to call for the first real government investigation - and not cover-up. 1. The three, steel framed high-rise buildings fell at or near free fall speed - which is impossible if they were brought down by fires. We should consider that never before or since 9/11 were any such buildings, anywhere in the world, brought down by fire. Supposedly, the first, second and third time this ever happened was on 9/11. 2. Nanothermite was found in the dust and debris (evidence of this has been published in peer reviewed scientific journals), and all three buildings show the clear signature of controlled demolitions that would result from the use of thermite eg. molten hot metal was reported to still exist in the basement 6 weeks after 9/11. I believe that the best way to bring all our troops home and prevent the planned invasions of Iran and Pakistan - to be also based to a large degree on the false-flag operation on 9/11 - is to get the overwhelming evidence to the public. I am just finishing my last year of Graduate school at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Architecture. A couple years ago I came across videos of WTC 7 collapsing and immediately recognized it as a planned demolition. I have taken structure classes and construction classes enough to know how a building should fall down if it was damaged by debris hitting it or if it was demolished by explosives.
Everything makes more sense now that it has been explained in a logical manner. I had seen the squib explosions being pointed out on video before I saw this presentation. People said I was crazy and they couldn't believe that I would even think that our own government could be behind something like this. I tried to come up with some logical explanation on my own and the only thing I could think of was that the floors above caved in all at once and caused the debris to fly away from the building like that. But when the statistics for the velocity of that explosion were given it seems impossible for it to be anything other than an explosion.

While I watched the first WTC building collapse, I noted to my friend, That looked like a 'planned demolition.' I got the term wrong but the concept right. It was only after the US government issued its official pronouncements that I was convinced there was a problem. The 9-11 Commission seemed to base its operating procedure on a Warren Commission model: don't look at what you don't want to find and misinterpret what you're forced to look at.
