PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

From the moment I saw the towers fall I could not believe that the impact from a plane could cause those towers to fall straight down as they did. Being involved in the metal fabrication industry it was impossible for those towers to free fall as they did with little to no resistance. It was a perfect demolition job and not a result of pancaking floors - the building fell straight down as if the structural steel frame holding it all together was completely compromised. I am shocked that it has taken this long for the truth of what actually happened to begin to surface.

I have found that starting with the complete impossibility of a Boeing 757 hitting the ground in Shanksville at 500+ mph and disappearing completely, is a better starting point than the WTC discussion. People seem to be able to wrap their mind around the physics of that (non)event easier. This usually imparts some skepticism in them and makes it easier to then ask 'where's the plane' at the Pentagon. Then wait for them to have their own 'ah-ha' moment. You usually have earned some trust at this point and can dive into the WTC discussion. I of course have several relevant photos and videos on my phone to refer to which I believe reduces the preachyness aspect.'

The more I try to find about 9/11 the more I see the government's official theory does not explain what happened. The reason I would like to sign this petition for a new investigation is due to the unanswered questions, informational gaps, inconsistencies and discrepancies of the 911 Commission Report in general, and because of the unacceptable work of the NIST in investigating the collapse of the towers specifically. The tragedy of 9/11 and the mass of civilian deaths that occurred that day demand a proper investigation, unbiased fact-seeking, and full-disclosure. The American people have been charged $16 million by the NIST and received nothing of value in return for that price. I would lose my engineering license if I pulled that stunt.

My personal experience has included the consideration of peak particle velocities in relation to explosives used underground and their likely impact on neighboring buildings, together with the risk of settlement when tunneling in urban areas. Bank vaults are usually ultra sensitive (in alarm terms) to vibration from explosives that can be some distance away. Was any bank vault alarm data from nearby buildings available and analyzed to corroborate exact timings of possible explosive use in the buildings before the main collapses? I am convinced from the available evidence that these collapses were assisted by the use of explosives and/or thermite.

It is clear to me now that there were tell-tale signs that the three WTC towers were taken down by controlled demolitions: squibs; explosions heard by eyewitnesses in the basement, lobby, and on the street; the speed at which the towers fell that does not agree with laws of physics if they were collapsing under gravity alone; the lateral projectiles as the towers fell; projectiles seen exploding in mid-air; thermite discovered in the dust; molten steel pouring from one of the towers just below the impact of the plane, and the molten steel in the rubble that was seen by eyewitnesses at the site in the days after the collapse. We need to know the truth.

I am no expert, but as a kid, I found controlled demolitions fascinating so I've seen many of them. When I saw the first trade center 'collapse' live on TV in 2001, my first thought was, 'I can't believe a plane can do that.' Then the second one came down exactly the same way. Then I thought, 'Wow, I guess a plane CAN do that.' Then I saw building 7 come down and thought, 'That looks exactly like a controlled demolition.' Years later and sifting through much evidence, analysis, and demonstrations, the most plausible explanation of what I saw is that they were all deliberate controlled demolitions.

I hold two engineering degrees as indicated above (1971, 1972), but have not been employed as an engineer since 1978, when I followed other endeavors. My background and experience in engineering and the sciences have however continued to guide my daily work in those other endeavors and my consideration of issues such as what really happened on 911.
The official explanations of what happened on 911 are simply not plausible. I find the collection of evidence from Achitects & Engineers for 911 Truth to be compelling, and although the exact truths are difficult to discern, what this organization suggests must certainly come very close. Regarding in particular the destruction of the three World Trade Center buildings, I believe the use of explosives has now been amply proven to be fact.

From the simplest piece of information alone, free fall speed of collapse, it is not even remotely possible to suggest any hypothesis other than controlled demolition. In other words, it is already physically impossible for anything other than controlled demolition to have caused a free fall speed of collapse. The huge mountain of other evidence collected corroborates completely and further proves controlled demolition, although it should be the obvious cause. It was spouted all over the media for one day (9/11/2001) then forbidden and officially called a crazy theory put forth by aluminum foil-hatted conspiracy nuts. The official story claims a conspiracy, where the people involved could not have possibly committed such an intricately planned and difficult demolition. High level people in the military were needed. So the truth of controlled demolition was replaced by an impossible lie about airplanes and their resultant pockets of fire. In addition to being trained to be skeptical, I am so by nature. It was with this approach that I started to study the evidence of 9/11, one thinking this evidence is flawed. It did not take long to be convinced beyond any shadow of doubt that the official story of 9/11 is a planted lie, that three World Trade Center buildings were demolished on purpose, that the Pentagon was hit by a missile, that the Pennsylvania crash did not occur at all, and that the force behind all this horror is a small rogue but extremely powerful group within our own government: the Neocons to be precise.

Any ordinary non-engineer citizen who has seen a controlled demolition film clip, like those shown on the Discovery Channel or similar channel, can readily see that the twin towers and WTC 7 were brought down in exactly the same way. After I saw some internet videos on the analysis of the towers' collapse and heard the commentary with it, I was convinced the whole thing was planned. From that point, I started linvestigating the bigger picture about the Bush administration and the Iraq war. Unfortunately, I must conclude that this country has become corrupt to its core - maybe not the Obama administration, we'll have to see - and that a major overhaul of our political system is desperately needed before we devolve into martial law or anarchy.

The results of the peer-reviewed study published in The Open Chemical Physics Journal, 2009, 2, 7-31 (link http://www.bentham-open.org/pages/content.php?TOCPJ/2009/00000002/00000001/7TOCPJ.SGM) contains clear scientific proof that unreacted nanothermite explosive fragments were found in the dust from the world trade center collapse. Methods used for analysis include optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, spectroscopy, and calorimetry. They witnessed and photographed triggered micro-explosions from the nanothermite fragments. These microexplosions produced the same heat and force output as laboratory nanothermite. The dust was sampled from four different locations soon after the collapses. One sample was collected about ten minutes after the collapses of WTC buidlings 1 & 2. All dust samples produced essentially the same findings. The unreacted explosive fragments can clearly be seen under low-power magnification, as photographs from the paper illustrate. This type of explosive is apparently untraceable, unlike most kinds of demolition materials. Eight different authors from universities and organizations around the world including Denmark, Utah, Indiana, Australia, Berkeley, Dallas contributed to this paper. This kind of science cannot be fudged. After reading this I became convinced that the reason for the clear and undeniable presence of explosive residue in the dust should be thoroughly re-investigated, espcecially since the NIST & FEMA reports did not even look for or mention these findings.

The three WTC buildings offered little or no resistance to collapse into its footprint at freefall. The Pentagons strike left office furniture and a open book intact although officially - the intense fires were supposed to have vaporised metal. Windows on either side of the impact hole in the Pentagon wall where the wings should have crashed into were left intact.

I am a retired Electronic Design Specialist and Computer Specialist, 53 years old, male. At my work, I used computers in design of circuits and PC boards. I also use them to consider stress forces, material suitability and sizes for construction of many types of machinery, small buildings and appropriate design factors. These are mostly small items, not large buildings, but I understand the concept behind the large building structural design. I am American, Constitutionalist, Free Man, anti-communist, Prolife, Born again Christian and willing to live for my country!
I believe that the buildings were intentionally brought down by pre-planted explosives and that the public was deceived by the use of non commercial jets. Building #7 is the Achilles heel, where you can here the count down to raze it, but it was not hit by any jet or missile. Also the Pentagon was not hit by a 767 or 757; there is just not enough of a hole in the building. I believe that it was a small cruise missile or other type of weapon.
