On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The NIST report of a progressive gravity collapse of the towers and WTC #7 initiated by the fires, is unsupported by the video evidence of gravity free fall of the structural members without resistance. Such a conclusion would clearly contradict Newton's Laws of motion and the principles of conservation of energy. Evidence of unreacted nanothermite and the by-products of a thermitic reaction found in the dust is very damning and cannot be ignored. This and other evidence presented here strongly supports the theory of a controlled demolition of the towers and a new proper investigation needs to be undertaken.

I defer to the experts in the field. However, I do have a solid theoretical background in the fundamentals of engineering, physics and chemistry. My relevant education includes basic undergraduate courses in physics, chemistry, thermodynamics, materials science, psychology and neuropsychology. I have understanding and respect for the scientific method: the method of following the evidence wherever it may lead without prejudice or bias, to arrive at scientifically-derived conclusions, no matter how unpopular or politically incorrect they may or may not be. Science influenced by politics is not pure science; it is pseudo-science. Pure science MUST be apolitical, meaning independent of political influence at every stage. This is always a challenge for professionals, but an ideal worth striving for, both for the integrity of the discipline of science, and for the service of science to humanity.
I first learned of the twin tower collapses on one of the major TV news networks. My personal experience was one of surrealism. It felt more like a dream than reality. Immediately, the names that came to mind were Bin Laden, and Al Quada, and some time later I realized that I had been psychologically primed by the media with this information. I originally believed the story told by the mainstream media and government officials that very hot jet fuel fires caused the steel to melt and collapse. But I think subconsciously I had some reservations that the buildings could collapse at free-fall acceleration, and fall so neatly into their own footprints. I had seen demolition videos before, and the similarity was not lost on me. Many years went by and I began to see inside job bumper stickers, and internet images and stories, the first of which was the BBC story claiming that the Soloman Brothers Building (WTC 7) had collapsed even though it was allegedly visible in the background. After posting this on Facebook as a curiosity, I was contacted by a friend who had been following 9/11 truth for some time. I began my own informal research effort studying internet materials, tempered by my understanding of scientific phenomena and engineering principles. The more I researched, the more it became clear that the official story was not believable, and much of the 9/11 truth information was very plausible and realistically a much more likely explanation of events. There is much evidence to consider: eyewitness accounts of explosions, large volumes of molten metal observed streaming from at least one building both before and after its collapse, large quantities of residual heat, discovery of steel microspheres, discovery of unreacted thermite, the physics of free fall requiring zero vertical support and thus requiring ALL steel support columns to be severed simultaneously, no history of modern steel building collapses due to fire, WTC 1, 2 & 7 all collapsing in a similar manner despite differences in building structure and in structural damage, black smoke indicating a lack of oxygen and a relatively cool fire apparently not hot enough to melt steel in the volumes observed, the buildings being designed to withstand airplane impact of 10% higher kinetic energy, evidence that the government ignored warnings, and so much more... I believe the evidence supporting the case for controlled demolition is overwhelming. There are also compelling means, motive and opportunity for nefarious elements in government to carry out such an attack. At least one experimenter with videos on youtube has shown that a thermite charge placed on a steel bolt is an effective and efficient means of destruction, and offers a plausible explanation of events, and is consistent with the WTC evidence.

I am not an engineer, but am fairly widely read in history, English and American literature and contemporary politics and international relations. I have had a long career in social work and now work as a self-employed musician and songwriter. I have two grown up sons and a third son just finishing school. I have been concerned about the official accounts of what occurred on the 11th September 2001 in the United States since first watching TV footage - the most problematic for me being the earliest footage of the incident at the Pentagon, including photographs displayed for a brief period on the Pentagon website. The photographic evidence seemed impossible to reconcile with the official account. My concern increased as the political response, first in the US and then increasingly internationally, began to unfold - there seemed to be so radical a dis-junction between what had allegedly occurred and the responses that were planned. As a 'response', what was planned seemed absurdly stupid and disproportionate, and to violate the values that the West was purporting to uphold - precisely what an anti-Western terrorist group might want to see. I have spent a lot of time looking through the internet for substantive evidence to allay my skepticism about the official accounts, but found none.

This is a case of telling a lie so big in plain site that no one will dare question it for fear of looking stupid. And then the human herd mentality kicks in, intensely fueled by the tragedy to vigorously defend the story for decades to come. I did watch the buildings fall in their footprints on live TV. It was clear to me at the time that the physics of the supposed cause was unlikely. Then, learning more of the details of Building 7, along with circumstantial accounts of explosions low in the buildings, beams flung too far from the buildings in the collapse, squibs, molten steal days after the events, accounts of workers in the elevator shafts in the days leading up to the events, all lead me to the conclusion of controlled demolition.
At no other time in history have steal structured buildings collapsed at near free fall into their own footprint due to fire. Three on the same day due to 3 different fires, one of which was not even hit by the aircraft, statistically unlikely plain and simple.

I also volunteered with Red Cross and provided 'Mental Health First Aid' for 6 weeks (Oct-Nov 2001) at Ground Zero, working with 1st responders and other workers taxed with site clean-up.
WTC 7 looked like controlled demolition, like when I witnessed Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh, PA. I volunteered with Red Cross for 6 weeks (Oct-Nov. 2001). The fire continued to burn throughout my entire 6-week assignment. I worked 2nd shift and could smell when bodies were recovered during the day; the scent was familiar to me from working at a Level 1 Trauma/Burn Center. As Pittsburghers, we pride ourselves on the strength of steel, which was core to our region's economy and development. If we are to believe that WTC 1, 2 and 7 wholly collapsed because of steel giving way, then why aren't there any impassioned lobbyists fighting for skyscraper and building reform? Why isn't government fervently advocating for innovation of building materials that are stronger than steel? The reason why is because reform and stronger materials are not needed to stop burning buildings from collapsing. We need whistleblowers and transparency to prevent buildings from being wired for demolition without public knowledge.

It is very clear that a steel framed building simply cannot collapse symmetrically with gravitational acceleration over 2 seconds without (basically) all of the structures supporting columns wiped away under the structure (WTC7). This kind of simultaneous breakage can not be caused by asymmetrical (cold) office fires with only little other damage to the building.> Also WTC1 and WTC2 destruction i.e. collapse near free fall and debris injecting outwards, not downwards, means that together with the dust samples that found thermitic material, the collapses have not occurred in the matter the official story has tried to tell the public. Also the Pentagon explosion cannot have happened in the way the official conspiracy tells us. I.e. light poles downed by alleged airline wings would have exploded the wing fuel tanks and had among other things made it impossible for an airplane of alleged size to reach the Pentagon wall without being crashed to the ground way before the Pentagon wall. All these peculiar incidents MUST BE properly and scientifically INVESTIGATED with the best possible gov-independent researchers with big budgets and in a truly scientific manner.

Scientific evidence should be respected and made publicly known in regards to the independent findings regarding 9/11 skyscraper demise. I believe the government did not examine all of the evidence properly, nor did they even look for evidence that was outside the boundaries of their agenda. If they have nothing to hide, they should have no problem reopening the investigation and making it MANDATORY that investigators outside of the government employment be allowed to LEAD official examinations of the SCIENTIFIC FINDINGS AND FACTS regarding the 9/11 skyscraper destruction. The government should be REQUIRED to publicly validate the true scientific evidence and findings they did not previously acknowledge and finally reveal the complete truth about the specific reasons for these events.

I have spent countless hours studying the events that occurred on 9/11/01. Thanks to YouTube and other sites, I have watched all of the raw footage, documentaries, and any other videos on the subject. I am astonished by all of the pieces that do not add up about that day and believe that there is more to the story than we, the public, have been told. The most important piece of evidence, in my opinion, to show that we don't have all of the answers, is that Building 7 fell that day. If you ask anyone about that event, they probably won't even remember that it happened or know much about it. It is not talked about much! It is not a highlight of the day. But it happened and is extremely significant. Based on my reading/viewing research from scientists, I agree that Building 7 was brought down with explosives. Therefore, if that building was detonated, then there is a great chance that the other main buildings were too. That one event just shows that there is more to the story. I do not have a solid opinion about who did what and why, there are many theories. But I can tell you this, building 7 did not fall just from fire. We should all put enormous pressure on the government, maybe on Jeff Session, Trump and others, to open a new investigation of 9/11. The one we had was not a real investigation, it was a joke. They didn't even mention WTC building 7 in the 9/11 report. Building 7 was not hit by a plane but it still collapsed. Why? The investigators didn't test for explosives, didn't use scientific method, they didn't interrogate witnesses, didn't use logic or common sense, didn't follow leads, didn't follow the money and to other interesting places and people and on and on. A lot of people benefited financially from 9/11, and 16 financial fraud and other investigations taking place before 9/11 were shut down, evidence was destroyed, investigators were killed at World Trade Center and in the Pentagon. 9/11 is a huge elephant in the room, we know it and the government/main stream media knows it, but pretend not to acknowledge that 9/11 was an inside job. A sixteen year long cover up is also a government inside job. If we have a real investigation, provided so much material on 9/11 has already been collected, it could give us a great chance to drain the swamp. The people connected directly or indirectly to 9/11 and its cover-up - the main stream media, government, congress, the military-industrial complex, intelligence agencies, the Council on Foreign Relations - the shadow government of the United States, and other organizations and people have a lot of explaining to do. 9/11 investigation could expose the criminals and the traitors and then maybe we could start fresh and hire some honest people to represent us in the government. Since we can't count on swampy government and media to drain themselves, we the people have to become proactive and force the investigation and conviction of the 9/11 perpetrators.

I have always felt that something didn't feel right, since 9/11/01. I have seen overwhelming evidence to disprove the government's official report. I do not believe the official narrative. There's far too many questions. Questions of why there was no wreckage found. Why the planes were not crushed and fallen due to impact of such a strongly constructed building. Why building 7 fell in its own footprint in seconds. Why rubble was cleared as quickly as possible. A quick and concise hello to everyone who might read this. Born in 1946 to a conservative family, came of age and became a hippie in the 1960s; worked in the television and motion picture industry for almost 20 years (Easy Rider; Last Picture Show are most famous). Questioned authority; knew I could not take the corporate path; received my MA in transpersonal psychology which is the exploration of other realities besides the 'normal/accepted' reality of everyday life. After many incredulous months of reading about alternative hypothesis for 9/11 I came to the only conclusion I could: that it was a deliberate attempt by the Shadow Government 'cabal' that is running the United States Dictatorship that used to be our country. I earned my Master's in Social Work from University of Missouri - St. Louis in 2004. I have worked as a social worker for 14 years. Before this, I worked as a deckhand in the Mississippi River barges for six years.
After watching this research as well as Loose Change and In Plane Site, I find no compelling evidence to believe what I used to believe, that 757s and jet fuel took down the twin towers with so many explosions and at a free fall rate. An absolute impossibility. There is simply too much scientific evidence that proves otherwise. What a travesty for America to believe a lie. I would challenge any skeptic to give these films a look. If after seeing these films you believe like most Americans brainwashed by media, I will still respect you. But please give it a try.

I was too young at the time to form an opinion about this matter so I pictured 9/11 as I was told by other people and the media: A terrorist attack that killed a lot of people. I never questioned it. Given the video record, evidence from the debris, and the opinions of trained experts, It appears that the WTC 1, 2, and 7 came down due to controlled demolition. Evidence of irregularities prior to 9/11, and published research finding against the hypothesis that these irregularities were due to chance, suggests foreknowledge of the attacks, and a craven willingness to profit from, rather than prevent, the catastrophe. Thousands of people died, many thousands more were harmed and traumatized on 9/11, and thousands more are ill and dying due to exposure to toxic chemicals in the debris. Hundreds of thousands of people died in the wars that were entered into in response to 9/11. The investigation needs to be re-opened, preferably under a well-funded, international aegis that includes experts and scholars dedicated to uncovering the truth, no matter where it leads.
