To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Physics, engineering, architecture, and design code have never before, nor will they ever in the future, facilitate such uniform destruction without the benefit of controlled demolition. The general public is easily convinced that building failure can happen as witnessed; however, educated, trained, and experienced professionals know better.

I recently reviewed much of the documentation that AE911truth has supplied and also other sources. My conclusion, based on my engineering experience and intuition, is that structures that are struck in a random nature do not respond with the type of symmetry we see in the WTC towers collapse. In fact, if one were hypothetically tasked to collapse these towers as symmetrically as they fell, it would be nearly impossible, at least for someone without expertise in demolition or other advanced techniques.

On 9-11 I was a New York State Advanced Emergency Medical technician and went to ground zero later that day at about 2 pm from my home in western, NY. Whenever a plane crashes in the US, all of the parts are gathered and pieced together to determine what actually happened during the event. Why wasn't it done on 911? The pancake theory NIST provided does not make sense. Scientific experts from around the world should be able to grill these NIST members to find out why they are deliberately leaving out the most important information--the evidence that explosives were used.

While there is no doubt that commercial airliners struck the twin towers, the evidence is overwhelming that their collapse was not due to structural damage caused by the airplane impacts nor due to the fires caused by the jet airplane fuel (the structural steel of these building would not melt at the temperatures remotely close to those at which jet airliner fuels burns) or to a combination of these factors, but due to controlled demolition of these buildings. Furthermore, it is absolutely ludicrous to assume that building 7 could have sustained any significant damage from trauma caused by the airliner impacts of the twin towers. This was also obviously a controlled demolition. Steel structure buildings simply do not collapse at the rate of free fall for any other reason. The molten steel pouring out of the sides of the twin towers at multiple sites prior to its collapse, even sites remote from the site of the airliner impacts, the fact that extremely hot pools of molten metal burned in the basement of the twin towers for many days after they collapsed and the fact that a significant amount of nano-thermite was found at the demolition sites among many other factors strongly support the conclusion that these were controlled demolitions.

Clearly the most disturbing thing about this information is who is responsible and if they were able to pull this off on 9/11 how can anyone be safe today. Why were the families of victims given money by the government? Is this a way of silencing them so they do not seek the truth?

Having initially fully trusted the official version of 9/11, it became more and more clear to me that this cannot be the truth. Too much mounting and unambiguous evidence defies this - e.g. the collapse of WTC 7 many hours after collapse of towers, the manner in which the towers fell etc. On top of this the NIST report was a scandal. Now is really the time for a thorough and new investigation of the event.
